Availability

I work from home most days, and am very active. I have plenty of time to walk with the dog or cat in Alexandra Palace park, which is just a few minutes away. My work doesn't have set routines, and my longest meetings are usually just an hour, so the pet won't go without attention for a long time.

Safety, trust & environment

My flat is a safe haven with little stimulation - I usually don't have music or tv on, so it's a calming environment. I enjoy creating an environment in which the pet is relaxed. I could spend hours just petting an animal. I will respect your house and leave everything as is - following instructions to the letter.

A typical day

On a typical day I would wake up and start with a walk through the neighborhood with the dog. I'd serve food, then while I work I'll play with the dog every hour or so. Over lunch we'd take a tour to Alexandra Palace park, my nearest park. There the dog could play with other doggies if it likes to. Then back to house for an afternoon nap while I work, and from 4 pm we can go out again for another walk and play in the park. In the evening, I would be watching tv, and the dog can relax and nap.

Pet care experience

Hi! I’m Fayenne, 31, and I live in the Alexandra Gate development. I’ve been cat sitting for years through Cat in a Flat and have built up lots of lovely reviews there. I’ve also done plenty of dog sitting and house sitting through TrustedHousesitters, again with really positive feedback. I genuinely enjoy it. Getting to know different pets and their personalities is such a fun part of it. I love helping animals feel comfortable and settled. Whether that’s playtime, long walks, or just some calm company. Alexandra Palace Park is right around the corner, so your dog would get some great walks in. I regularly work from home, so on those days your dog wouldn’t be left alone and would have plenty of attention throughout the day. I’ve had dogs myself , most recently a Maltese/Yorkie cross, and I grew up with a Labrador, so I’m used to both small and bigger breeds. And as a bonus, my boyfriend is completely obsessed with Golden Retrievers. I’d love to look after your dog and make sure they feel at home while you’re away. 🐶

Fayenne was fantastic with my cats, I really felt reassured that I had left them in good hands. She kept me updated with photos, and the cats seemed to take a real shine to her. She gave them lots of cuddles and attention on the visits. I would definitely recommend Fayenne and will use her again in the future.
