5. Sophie R.
About: I have taken care of pets since my early teens. Never been fortunate enough to have my own but have looked after family pets regularly, my nan had a labradoodle from when I was 14, my dad has had a cockapoo for the past 3 years and I often dog sit for them. Also previously dog and cat sat for my neighbours and walked their dogs. I currently work hybrid and often WFH Wednesday and Thursday with flexibility on other days too. I leave the house between 8:45-9:30, and can return anywhere between 3-7 when I work in the office. I go out for walks 3/4 times a week to get my steps in. I take pride in providing loving and attentive care to dogs in their owners' homes. I understand the importance of maintaining your pet's routine, so I follow your instructions carefully to ensure a smooth and comfortable experience for your dog. I enjoy engaging them with play, lots of walks, and plenty of cuddles. I am responsible, reliable, and committed to keeping your dog happy, safe, and well-cared for while you're away.

6. Dora A.
“Dora is my neighbour and a very good friend . She is very good to us, we are both in poor health and cannot walk far , nearly every day she walks our rescue dog Mya to the park [we have had her over 7 years], we trust her completely with our pet who adores her. Her own dog usually stays with us while they are out. Mya always walks towards her house across our front gardens that are open plan and sits by her front door and barks for her to come out. They then walk off Mya obeys her orders of waiting and stay when told. Dora allows Mya freedom to roam in the park and often sends us videos of her relaxing in the grass and watching the world go by. I would be happy to recommend her services to anyone who requires help with their pet and wish her every success in becoming wonderful friend and loving pet caregiver in the future. carol Janes”
7. Oliver S.
About: From Dogs to Cats and even Guinea Pigs, I’ve cared for them all. I will understand what you will want from me as well as know how to achieve it. The best days to book are Thursday through Sunday as this is when I am most likely to be free. Feel free to contact me for other days. I have fed, walked, and played with my dog as well as helped when he has needed to go to the vet. I am a calm individual and therefore I feel pets can feel safe around me.

8. Florie M.
“Florie looked after my dog for two weeks last summer whilst I was away on holiday. She came in multiple times a day for feeds, walks and play with my dog Buttons. He was really well looked after and I had no worries leaving him in her care. She gave me regular updates whenever I wanted them.”

9. Valerie J.

10. Helen P.
About: We’ve both grown up around dogs and Kurt (my partner) has helped look after his family’s four dogs (including two rescues) since he was a teenager. As adults, we’ve spent several years pet and house-sitting professionally, caring for dogs, cats and even the odd horse in other people’s homes. We’re confident with rescue animals and have lots of experience giving nervous pets the extra time and care they need to feel safe. These days, we’re settled in a terraced house with a fully fenced back garden, loads of indoor space, and direct access to woodland walks - ideal for active dogs and fresh-air snuffles. We’re also used to hosting dogs overnight, managing complicated feeding routines, and administering medication if needed. Kurt works full time from home as a freelancer and loves any excuse to step away from his desk for a walk or a cuddle. Helen works full time too, with three days a week spent at home. Your dog (or cat) will always have company, and we’re able to give them attention throughout the day - we don’t do loads of meetings or calls, so we’re very present and hands-on. We’d love to have our own dog but can’t commit long term just yet, so being able to look after yours is the next best thing! We both work from home, so we’ve got lots of flexibility throughout the day for walks, cuddles, and general company. Kurt is a freelancer and always up for a break, whether it's a stroll in the woods or a bit of playtime in the garden. Helen works from home three days a week and is also around for walks and attention. Between the two of us, there's always someone home and available, which means pets get plenty of care and companionship. We have a fenced back garden and plenty of indoor space for pets to stretch out and feel relaxed. We’re happy to accommodate dogs with specific feeding routines, administer medication, and keep things calm and comforting for nervous animals. We’re also very clean and respectful when staying in someone else’s home, and always aim to stick closely to your usual routines so pets feel at ease.

Whether it’s taking time for long walks, playing their favorite games, or giving them plenty of cuddles, she treats every pet like her own. Any pet parent would be lucky to have someone as thoughtful and responsible as her caring for their furry family member!”

15. Sheila C.

“Sheila was wonderful - she dropped by to meet my dog Ada ahead of the dog sitting appointment, and Ada instantly took a liking to her! Sheila kept me up to date when checking in on Ada, giving her her dinner and taking her for a walk. It was my first time hiring someone to look after Ada so I was a bit nervous about it, but Sheila put my mind at ease. I'll definitely book her again.”

18. Tom M.
“Tom has been amazing with our beautiful labby, Rusty. When my partner and I are out for work Tom is our go to person to check in on Rusty, let her out for wees and even on some occasions take her for walks. We’ve loved Toms compassion and love towards our fur baby so much that we’ve even shared him with my mom who frequently asks him to cat sit for her. We can honestly say that Tom is without a doubt, the best person for the job!”

19. Talia M.

“Reliable. Happy animals All good.”

20. Robert W.
About: I’ve had a dog in the house since I was six years old and would never miss the opportunity to be around one. I’ve done hundreds of walks and am keen to do more. I’m an avid walker and can take a dog as far as they need to go. I have recently been taken care of a puppy back at my home address, and shortly before that I was looking after my aged childhood dog that required some special care before he passed. While I am a full-time uni student, my Wednesdays, Fridays and Weekends are completely clear. Looking to fill the time with any chance to spend time with a dog while away from home. The environment is not important to me. It’s about spending time with the dog. I will be astute to respect your home and aim leave it exactly as I was introduced to it.
