I work full time but I am free after 5/6pm every day so available for home visits in the late afternoon/evening. I am also free early in the morning, if needed (before 7.30am when I start work).

I would look after your cat as if it was my own. Cat's are very territorial creatures and I feel it is best to leave them in their home instead of taking them to a strangers house. I only speak from my experience with Muffin my cat, on the rare occasions I have had to take him to new surroundings, he absolutely hated it and spent days hiding under the bed. But not all cats are the same and maybe yours might be more incline to discovering the world and seeing new things! I would give your kitty time to get used to me and not launch towards them and scare them. Patience is key with cats! Always on their own term ;)

Let me know if your cat has special requirements such as diet, medicine etc.. My cat is in special diet due to having had a urinary tract blockage so I am quite used to special requirements for kitties.
A typical day
First, I like to start with some interactive play. Most cats love to chase, so I’ll use a wand toy or feather teaser to mimic the movement of prey to engage their natural hunting instincts. If the cat prefers solo play, I’ll scatter a few toy mice, crinkle balls, or kicker toys around the room to encourage independent exploration. After playtime, I let the cat unwind with some quiet companionship, gentle petting or brushing if they enjoy it, or simply sitting nearby while they relax. The goal is always to keep the cat happy, comfortable, and confident until their owner returns.

Cat care experience
I have always loved cats. I've owned them for the past 11 years and my fur baby is loved and looked after beyond reason 😅🤣 Clearing pee and poo from a litter tray doesn't not scare me one bit!

Emilie looked after our two cats this weekend for the second time and did an amazing job. She is always quick to respond and is super friendly both with us and the cats. We get lots of updates and she leaves the house spotless.
Emilie did a wonderful job of looking after our two cats over the Christmas holidays. We got lots of detailed updates so we knew how they were getting on and they seemed to have a lovely time - we had two happy cats on our return! Would definitely recommend 🙂

Emilie is a caring, empathetic woman whom has the personal touch due to her amazing relationship with her own cat ,Muffin. She understands the stress involved when travelling and being away from home and your cat. Muffin needs particular dietary care after a medical issue and thus she is adept in not only giving a fun, caring service but also the little things that may need looking out for such as this. Experience is key. She provides him not only with loving care , fun and interest but tempers that with responsibility and due care in relation to the medical. I believe she would provide the best care/companionship for your cat as she would Muffin. And Muffin is ALL to her.
