I love being a cat sitter and think it is the best job in the world! I tailor visits to the temperament of each cat, whether that be by giving them extra space to do their own thing or pampering them with affection and cuddles. I strive to give them what they need to thrive. Owners going away can be highly stressful for a cat so to mitigate some of their stress, I aim to keep their routines as close to what they have usually. I meditate just before each drop in so that I bring a calm and positive energy into your home. Cats often follow me around (and sit on my feet too!🙀). Aside from cat sitting, I work from home freelance flexibly part time. I begin training as an energy healer next year. I have previously worked as a gardener in a live in role so am used to being responsible and trustworthy in someone's home and keeping plants healthy and happy too!

I run a cats only pet sitting service - no dog scent and cats love to smell other cats' scent on my bag (and socks!). I am very experienced with many Pedigree cat breeds including Ragdolls, British Shorthairs, Birmans, Maine Coons, Siberians, Russian Blues as well as regular moggies too. I know how sensitive cats can be to change with routine and work with you to give them consistency. I can discuss your requirements first at an in-person free 15 minute meet and greet at the Chiltern Lifestyle Centre or online video call to see if I am a good fit for you and your cat. If all is well, I will arrange a 2nd free meet and greet in your home to meet your cat(s) and go over the routine there before confirming the booking. If you require me to come a second time to your house to pick up keys, I add £10 to the booking to cover time/travel costs or can pick up in Amersham/Chesham Bois centres for free. I have family members local I can call in case of emergency too for extra support.

Rebecca did a fantastic job looking after our 3 cats. She took extra care of our very elderly cat who is almost 22. She sent us daily photos and updates several times a day which was so reassuring. She was extremely well organised and left the house spotless and even washed the bedding etc before she left. She also took care of our plants during the heatwave and looked after our fish. We really recommend her and would not hesitate to book her again

We had Rebecca come and house sit/cat sit for us while we went away for a week on holiday. I can see why she has such good reviews! Honestly couldn't have asked for anymore. She updated us everyday on how the cats were doing and if there were any new changes. Made us feel reassured and felt like we could fully relax while away from home. Additionally, she kept the house so near and tidy (even better than us!) and would easily be using her services again. Highly recommend to anyone look for cat sitting long or short term. Rebecca is definitely the best person!

Schedule
Flexible with dates and times year round subject to my availability (from 8am to 6:30pm for drop-ins). As well as local drop-ins (Chesham Bois or near transport links in central Amersham), I offer an overnight and daytime cat sitting service across Bucks/Herts. This service is within 15 miles of Amersham (minimum 2 nights, or 2 days) which keeps cats calm and content with extra companionship and TLC. Perfect for kittens, seniors, cats that crave companionship and those with specific care requirements. I bring my own food/towels/toiletries - contribution to transport start/end of house sit appreciated if far away and taking public transport. I always prioritise cat sitting as it's the greatest job in the world! Please note for house sitting, I usually need to go out during the daytime to run errands (typically less than 4-5 hours out at a time) or perform drop in visits. I spend much of the day and all night with cats in my care. If you require more constant companionship, please note there may be an additional fee for this to reflect increased level of care/responsibility. If plant watering duties are more than a few patio pots/houseplants and/or high care requirements/medication administered (in food is free) there may be an extra fee (for drop ins and house sitting). Holiday rates apply. Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Eve & Day and Easter Sunday are £35 base rate per 30 min drop in and £90 base rate for house sitting. All other Bank holiday weekend days are £6 extra on base rate for drop-ins and £80 for house sits (Fri-Mon inclusive). In the unlikely event that your cat falls ill during your time away and needs to visit the vet during drop-ins as an emergency, the hourly base rate is £25 (£20 after the first hour), plus taxi fare if needed (I can get a lift from family at times saving taxi fare). I am happy to liaise with local friends or family members who can take your cat to the vets and/or stay with them once there. I am not able to pay vet bills and potential payments must be covered by yourself or an emergency contact (many vets if notified of holiday cat sitter in advance are happy for any payments at a later date). In the case I cannot contact you in an emergency, I will take cats to the vet as necessary and follow treatment advice given by vet. *** Houses must be accessible via public transport links and/or walking/cycling keeping the service environmentally conscious. ***
