We were really nervous about leaving our dog as she had surgery a few weeks before our trip but Gemma was great with giving her medication and making sure we felt comfortable leaving her. My dog got along very well with Gemma's Bailey and they had a great time playing while we were away. About: Having recently retired, I've found myself with some spare time and what better way to spend it than to look after dogs! I often look after our friends and families dogs on our family farm. I've looked after all ages, all temperaments and all breeds. I have been around dogs most of my life. For the last 19 years we have had dogs ourselves, we had our darling Bailey, a golden lab who died at 16 and now Grace, our black lab who's 11.5. I am recently retired, and while I do spend some time looking after my grandchildren, I feel like I will have the time to look after your pets! I live on a farm surrounded by fields, with a garden which is partially fenced. I have one gentle labrador to keep yours company or if your dog prefers their own space, I can accommodate this. As with all farms the kitchen is the hub of the home and the dogs get the prime spot infront of the aga.

About: Our family has both grown up with dogs, big and small, from shitzu & King Charles to border collie & golden retriever. We have a lovely village home with a v large garden, 2 beautiful girls (5,11) and a super friendly Labrador retriever (female). I have attended lots of training classes with her to refresh and update my knowledge and experience with dogs, I understand that every dog is different, and each have their own personalities and needs. I would love to be able to offer my home to take care of your dog whilst you are away. I understand that all we need to go away at some point and can’t take our beloved pets with us but we want to ensure they are left in a safe and loving, secure home! I am fully aware that dogs need lots of enrichment & mental stimulation as well as exercise, love and attention and that’s what I would offer your dog too, especially as I understand it can be stressful for a pet (and their owner!) to be away from their home, in a new place with new people! Happy to keep you updated with regular pics & videos! If you need certain training cues to be maintained, we are happy to discuss & carry this on too as we appreciate consistency & repetition is key! We have a fully fenced secure back garden - paved and lawn - 170 foot long where your dog will have free rein to run, play, explore, enjoy a game of fetch or find it …. or just simply chill & sunbathe! We have a large open plan kitchen/diner and living room where your pet will be treated like one of the family - from naps in front of the log burner, playing with the kids, or just keeping us company in from of the tv. Our dog sleeps in her crate at night and we would ask you to bring your pets crate too. We live on a quiet cul de sac in a small village in the countryside & we are spoilt for choice with open fields and rights of way (our house being located on one!) & allotments to the rear, as well as having the local park 3 mins walk from our house - all of which offer long, leisurely walks with lots of sniffing opportunities. Your dog may even like to join us in a visit to our local pub which is very dog friendly & where the dog biscuit tin is always full! Our children love animals and treat them like their best friends with lots of love, care and attention!

“Katt was everything we needed for Neville our English bulldog. So kind and gentle, it was his first stay away without us and he was a bit unsettled at night at first but with regular contact with us Katt and her partner got him through it. Nev also developed a sore ear and Katt took him to the vets to get him sorted. He received all the daily regular care with walks etc but I know that he had the extra cuddles that he would have been missing from home. I recommend Katt highly and would definitely hope that Nev could stay again.”

About: I love all dogs and have owned many breeds. I am comfortable playing with my Dad’s Pomeranian or my sisters Staffordshire bull terrier. I grew up with jack russells and setters. I love making sure they have a good run around and also get to play indoors and are kept engaged. I love cuddles on the sofa and making sure they got lots of attention. I’m fit and active and can make sure they have a good walk. I’m a dog lover currently inbetween jobs (and usually work from home or in a hybrid capacity) so am fully available at home and living next to a park. I am in a ground floor flat so White Hill park is technically my garden. I’ve had dogs my whole life and currently live vicariously through helping friends and family with theirs. I miss the cuddles, playing and company of dogs so being able to help people with theirs perfectly aligns with my current schedule. I don’t drive but the park is right outside. Although I have access to a car if need be. I live in a ground floor flat with the security door just outside my front door so there are no safety/escape issues. I can let them out for the toilet whenever they need it. I have throws on my sofa so dogs are welcome on my furniture. I’ve always considered dogs part of the family so I don’t mind them on the sofa. My flat is quite big so there is plenty of room for their beds, crates and toys - whatever the owners preference.

About: I have had several dogs during my lifetime. Most recently I have taken to looking after neighbours, family and friends dogs for a day, weekend or a week at a time. My availabilty will depend on my work rota - I will be working 2 days per week from beginning of April 2025. I have taken early retirement but will be returning to work on a part time basis at the beginning of April. I will have 5 days per week where I may be available for dog sitting, dog walking. I have a fully fenced and gated large back garden at our property. Lots of good, long walks within a short distance of where I live which will normally involve a short drive.

I’m more than happy to just do one-off walks and check-ins, but over time I hope that I become a familiar friend to your pet and a reliable helper to you in caring for them :) I work remotely and have a flexible schedule so I can always move plans around to fit with what you need! Mon-Fri checks ins and walks work best, but with enough advance notice I can certainly help out on weekends. Of course, if anything last min crops up, I will do my best to help. I understand that sometimes life happens quicker than we can plan for it! Whenever I’m visiting I treat your pets and home with the utmost respect. You can be assured that your instructions will be followed and expect any unforeseen issues (pet messes, accidents or dangerous situations) will be handled with professionalism and care.
About: When I was a teenager I used to feed the dogs and cats for a neighbour when they went on holiday. My partner also used to have dogs so I am used to walking dogs, they were both huskies. We also have pastoral dogs at school so I used to being around smaller dogs. I work from home so am around all year to look after your doggos or cats. We have large fields behind our home so we have lots of room for walks and zoomies 😊 I have a fenced garden and a partner who has had many pets (cats and dogs) in the past. About: I look after my parents dogs sometimes when they are away. I do such a good job of this that they have recommended me to their friends who now also ask me to look after their dogs in my own home. A few years ago, a family friend had to leave for a couple of days and he trusted me to look after his puppy and keep up with the puppies training in his house while he was away. About: I am the proud owner of two beautiful British short hair kittens. I am so lucky to have grown up with dogs around me, and cannot wait till my partner and I get one of our own. About: Having recently retired, I've found myself with some spare time and what better way to spend it than to look after dogs! I often look after our friends and families dogs on our family farm. I've looked after all ages, all temperaments and all breeds. I have been around dogs most of my life. For the last 19 years we have had dogs ourselves, we had our darling Bailey, a golden lab who died at 16 and now Grace, our black lab who's 11.5. I am recently retired, and while I do spend some time looking after my grandchildren, I feel like I will have the time to look after your pets! I live on a farm surrounded by fields, with a garden which is partially fenced. I have one gentle labrador to keep yours company or if your dog prefers their own space, I can accommodate this. As with all farms the kitchen is the hub of the home and the dogs get the prime spot infront of the aga.

Happy to keep you updated with regular pics & videos! If you need certain training cues to be maintained, we are happy to discuss & carry this on too as we appreciate consistency & repetition is key! We have a fully fenced secure back garden - paved and lawn - 170 foot long where your dog will have free rein to run, play, explore, enjoy a game of fetch or find it …. or just simply chill & sunbathe! We have a large open plan kitchen/diner and living room where your pet will be treated like one of the family - from naps in front of the log burner, playing with the kids, or just keeping us company in from of the tv. Our dog sleeps in her crate at night and we would ask you to bring your pets crate too. We live on a quiet cul de sac in a small village in the countryside & we are spoilt for choice with open fields and rights of way (our house being located on one!) & allotments to the rear, as well as having the local park 3 mins walk from our house - all of which offer long, leisurely walks with lots of sniffing opportunities. Your dog may even like to join us in a visit to our local pub which is very dog friendly & where the dog biscuit tin is always full! Our children love animals and treat them like their best friends with lots of love, care and attention!

About: I grew up around dogs and then joined the military to be a dog handler. I was a dog handler for 8 and a half year and now live with my retired military working dog. I’m available all through the weekend, I work full time Mon-Fri. I love being outdoors with my dog, yours can join us too! I live in a spacious apartment with a communal garden. About: For the past six years, we have been fostering dogs and have welcomed 19 into our home, with stays ranging from a few days to several months. Each dog has brought its own personality, challenges, and rewards. One even became a permanent member of our family. Working with small, medium, and large dogs, we focus on providing structure, guidance, good manners, and essential life and socialisation skills to help them grow in confidence and adapt to everyday situations. Through this journey, I developed a passion not only for helping dogs but also their owners. This led me into dog training, where I support owners in improving communication and understanding with their dogs, helping them overcome common challenges and build stronger, happier relationships together. I work full time for the ambulance service but work opposite shifts with my wife, so there's always someone at home to care for the animals and teen kids. Boarding: I have large secured fenced garden and child gate between the kitchen and lounge. Crate used for our meal preparation, family mealtimes, after walks and night sleeps. Home visits: Coming to your home to feed, put out your dog in a calm manner and gentle fuss that will leave them refreshed and content. Walks: Are structured aimed at tiring your pooches mind as well as there body; consisting of heeled walking, free sniffing time and breed fulfillment activities.
