“I was travelling to the other side of the world and needed a trusted sitter. As this was the first time I’d left my precious fur baby with a stranger, it felt like a big decision—but it turned out to be a great one. I highly recommend Luby. She is calm, patient, and warm, and truly goes above and beyond to make sure both you and your pet feel cared for. The daily pictures and updates did so much to ease my nerves. There were times I had no connection and worried about my cat being lonely or getting hurt outside (I’m definitely an overthinker!), but receiving those updates during my travels reassured me that my cat was safe and happy. There were even a few small issues at home, and knowing Luby was keeping me informed was a godsend. I left a small tip and will absolutely be using her again in the future. Good pet care is priceless—I’m so grateful ☺️.”

“Heather was amazing! She took an extremely last minute booking and was very lovely about it. She was very easy to communicate with. She put everything back where it was found and put water back in their crates for them despite me forgetting to ask! I got photos of the doggos having cuddles too. Would recommend and will definitely use again.”

About: I’m Leila, the owner of Leila’s Muddy Pups. I’m based in Hillingdon and cover the surrounding areas, offering reliable and caring dog walking and pet care services. I’ve grown up around dogs since I was a young child, and my love for them only grew stronger when I got my own American Bulldog at 18 after moving into my own home. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and being able to work with them everyday truly feels like a dream come true. I have experience with dogs of all ages and temperaments, including puppies, senior dogs, and large breeds. I’m also comfortable working with dogs who have behavioural needs such as anxiety or reactivity. Your dog’s safety is my top priority, and I’m trained in canine first aid, giving you extra peace of mind while your dog is in my care. I currently have a high level of availability as I am on maternity leave, which allows me to be very flexible when arranging dog walks, drop-in visits, and other pet care services. This flexibility means I can often accommodate a variety of times throughout the day to suit both you and your dog’s routine. From December onwards, when I return to work, I will primarily be offering dog walking services Monday to Thursday. I may also be able to accommodate the occasional Friday where needed, depending on availability. My goal is always to provide a reliable and consistent routine for the dogs in my care while remaining as flexible as possible to meet each client’s needs. When caring for pets in their own home, I aim to keep their routine as normal and consistent as possible. I understand that dogs feel most comfortable when their usual schedule is maintained, so I am happy to follow your dog’s regular routine for feeding, walks, playtime, and any other care they require. My goal is to make sure your pet feels relaxed, secure, and well looked after while you are away or busy. For convenience, many owners provide access to their home through a spare key or a secure key safe, which allows me to carry out walks or drop-in visits if you are not at home. I treat every home with the utmost respect, ensuring your pet is safe, settled, and cared for just as you would expect.

About: What sets me apart is the amount of time, care, and genuine attention I can give to every pet. Being on maternity leave means I’m home most of the day, so your furry friend will always have supervision, companionship, and plenty of affection rather than being left alone for long periods. I take the time to get to know each pet’s personality, routine, and needs so they feel comfortable and relaxed while in my care. I’m very patient and attentive, which makes me confident caring for puppies learning their routines, senior dogs who need a gentler approach, or pets with special needs. Some things that help owners feel confident choosing me: I follow your pet’s usual routine closely, including feeding, walking, and playtime, to reduce stress. I maintain a safe, clean environment at all times, whether in your home or mine. I provide regular photo and message updates so you can see your pet happy and relaxed throughout their stay. Above all, I treat every pet as if they were my own, ensuring they feel loved, safe, and well cared for at all times. Your pet’s comfort and happiness is my priority, and I strive to build trust with both pets and their owners. I’m currently on maternity leave and spend most of my time at home. This gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to caring for pets throughout the day. I’m available for walks, playtime, feeding, and lots of attention, and I can easily adapt to your pet’s usual routine to help them feel comfortable and settled. Because I’m home often, pets in my care won’t be left alone for long periods and will receive plenty of companionship and supervision. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I treat every animal as if they were my own. I’m also happy to send regular photo and message updates so you can see how your pet is doing and have peace of mind while you’re away. Spending time with animals is something I genuinely enjoy, and I look forward to welcoming new furry friends and giving them a safe, calm, and caring environment. Your pet’s safety, comfort and happiness will always be my top priority. I will always provide a calm and loving environment where pets can feel relaxed and secure whilst in my care whether they are in their own home or mine. I will take the time to understand each pet’s routine, preferences, and any special requirements so I can keep their day as familiar and stress-free as possible (again, regardless of being in my home or their own). In my home - pets will have a safe, clean space to relax aswell as play. They will always be supervised and given plenty of attention, exercise, and affection throughout the day. In your home - I will respect your space and follow the instructions provided so your pet can stay happy and content within their usual environment. I will stick to their normal feeding, walking, and sleeping routines as much as possible. I’m also happy to provide regular photo and message updates so you can feel reassured and connected while you’re away. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel completely comfortable and confident with the care being provided.

About: Hi there! My name is Lily and I'm a marine biology Master’s degree graduate, pursing a second MSc in London. I started walking and pet-sitting for neighborhood dogs in middle school. Following that, I became an animal shelter volunteer dog companion, and for 3 years, I walked, trained, and socialized dogs of every shape, size, and personality. After that, I began walking & sitting dogs professionally for 4 years with local clients. I am responsible, experienced, attentive, and I can't wait to meet your dog! Aside from my experience working with dogs professionally, I've been a dog owner since childhood when my family adopted Chancey, a shy retriever mix. He taught me that every dog has different needs, and it's important to be loving and patient with them all! My current dog who lives in New York with my parents is Lila, a 13-year old Black Lab/Beagle mix who loves attention and snacks :) I am a full-time student but have a lot of online components, so if I am pet-sitting I can spend all my time with your dog! I follow exactly how owners prefer me to care for their dog and will adhere to any routines and structures they need. I am seasoned in creating a trusting and happy relationship between myself, a dog, and their owner. I would never put an animal in danger and prioritize their safety and comfort.
About: Hello! I am new to England and am not able to get a dog or cat, so I am interested in helping care for yours! I have been around animals all my life. Growing up on a farm, I became familiar with lots of dogs and cats, and other animals such as chickens and horses. I am a very patient and caring individual. I understand all animals are different and deserve love. I can tend to their individual needs as such. I have been around dogs and cats both small and large, as well as different breeds. I am primarily a very active individual. I am very used to walking or running with dogs and would love to help get yours up out of the house! Cats are also welcome. As such, I also understand the importance of rest and recovery. I am very used to caring for, cleaning, and feeding animals at home. I am a very protective, passionate, and caring animal lover. I would love to help you today:) I work in central London. My schedule is full-time Monday-Friday working midday to evening. I am always available in the mornings. Mornings are usually the time where I go for a walk to enjoy my coffee, or run in the morning, so it’s very easy for me to stop by or bring a friend by my side! I am available every weekend for any extra or special care Animals are a top priority for me. I believe they deserve the up most attention and detail to their wellbeing. I feel very strongly about animals who are cast aside. Animals are special and should be treated as such. I will ensure your animal is given the most priority and care I can offer. I am not allowed animals in my flat, so I am looking mostly for walking or pet sitting in your home. As such, if I am in your home, I am a very clean and organized individual. I don’t like mess or dirt, which I know animals can be a bit messy, so I can ensure that your area will be kept to the highest standard. I also don’t mind doing extra cleaning haha (I love cleaning)
“Greta was amazing. She met with us beforehand and chatted for ages. You can tell she knows her stuff and helped us managed Oreo’s quirks. She came over and made sure she was hydrated, used the toilet and was entertained. Greta was very good at giving Oreo time to adjust to a new person. Would definitely recommend.”

About: My name is Lily. I have been caring for cats in my household since I was a child, I now have 8! Ever since then, I have grown a strong passion for the caring and wellbeing of cats. I am currently a volunteer as a Cat Care Assistant for Cats Protection, a cat homing centre in Harrow, and have been since November 2023 (Almost 3 Years!) where I have gained extensive experience in cat care, providing suitable diets and following routines, providing enrichment and play time for the cats, and monitoring behaviour. I have a Level 2 and Level 3 Qualification in Animal Care, achieving a distinction overall. I am also currently undergoing an Extended Animal Care Foundation Diploma course. I aspire to be a zookeeper and/or a welfare coordinator in the future as I have a passion for looking after animals of all sorts. I would love to spend some of my free time caring for some feline friends. :) Please feel free to pop me a message if you have any enquiries! I have currently just finished my Extended Diploma in Animal Management in college, so I am now free every weekday (and weekends too if available). I am very flexible at the moment, and am happy to do pop-by visits in the day or to stay for a night! I currently own many cats myself, and I am able to provide frequent, suitable meals based off owners’ requests, I can administer medication (however I do not do injections just as yet), I am able to prove enrichment and play/social time, and complete routine cleaning tasks like scooping litter, washing bowls etc. If you have any other pets, please let me know as I am able to look after more than just cats.

About: Hi there! I’ve taken care of small to medium dogs for years, and as a proud Shiba Inu owner myself, I absolutely love interacting with pets and providing the necessary care they need. Patience is key in my approach, and I’m always happy to tailor updates to owners because I know pets are cherished family members—your dog deserves nothing less! My services include overnight sits, daily dog walking (30-60 minutes of tailored fun like fetch in local parks or gentle neighborhood strolls), feeding, and plenty of playtime or cuddles. Whether it’s energetic zoomies for a young pup or relaxed companionship for a senior, I customize everything to your dog’s breed, age, and personality. My experience comes from hands-on care with my own Shiba Inu (who keeps me on my toes!) and helping friends’ small and medium breeds during holidays and work trips. I’m patient and committed to a safe, loving environment for your flurry family member. I work full-time on weekday but usually from home on Monday and Friday in Hillingdon (near great walking spots), so I’m highly available for mostly weekend but weekdays if schedule allowed! Can’t wait to see your furry family member and keeping them happy, healthy, and tail-wagging! Weekend would be more flexible but weekday would be up for walking or visiting for care. Again happy to tailor what works for the owner. My home has a fenced little garden and around the areas are full of green space for walking/ running. I’ve long lead for “controlled” free roaming too.
The median cost per Visit for cat sitting in Hillingdon is £14

Birgitt took wonderful care of our cat for a few days. Everything was tidy when we returned home, and she was experienced, trustworthy, and caring throughout. She was very patient with our shy cat and made every effort to help our cat feel comfortable. We felt completely at ease leaving our cat in her care and would highly recommend her.
We couldn't be happier with the care our two cats received. From the very beginning, Neama was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and polite, and it was clear that she genuinely loves and cares for animals. She followed all of our wishes perfectly and kept us updated throughout with detailed messages and plenty of photos, which gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. It was wonderful to see how happy and well cared for our cats were. Her communication was excellent, and she went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. We returned home to relaxed, content cats, which speaks volumes about the loving care she provided. We would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy cat sitter. Thank you so much Neama for doing such an incredible job! ❤️☺️

Alvin was an amazing cat sitter and I genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better experience. He was very polite, kind, reliable, and clearly cared a lot about my cats. He kept me updated with photos and messages, made sure everything was clean and taken care of, and really gave me peace of mind while I was away. Most importantly, my cats were very comfortable around him, which says a lot because they can usually be a bit cautious with new people. It was obvious they felt safe and relaxed in his care. I would absolutely recommend Alvin to anyone looking for a trustworthy and genuinely lovely pet sitter. Thank you again for taking such good care of them!

Evangeline was the perfect person to take care of our kitten whilst we were away on a short break. She gave us updates during each visit, sending pictures that put smiles on our faces and helped us enjoy our time away. Knowing he was being well taken care of in the comfort of his home gave us peace of mind. 😊

Heather has a lovely nature, is responsible and trustworthy and is such a great cat sitter. She really considers their welfare. She is efficient and thoughtful and I will definitely ask her to come the next time I am away. I have no hesitation in recommending Heather.

Alisha is absolutely the best! I cannot thank her enough for the amazing care she took of my Luna and the wonderful daily photos and videos she sent while I was away. I couldn't wish for a better cat sitter! She went above and beyond in looking after Luna and developed such a bond with my cat she I'm sure Luna will miss her. I'll keep my fingers crossed for Alisha to be available when I next need to book a cat sitter for Luna.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
