My mum rescued a border collie a few years ago and spending intermittent time with him has made me realise I definitely need a canine friend back in my life! About: Hello, I am Christina and I am the owner of a cat and a dog. Unfortunately, I had to leave my cat in Greece when I moved to London but she stays with my aunt. In London, I have a 6-year-old Jack Russel Terrier and she truly is my best friend. I sincerely believe that pets love me as much as I love them and I could really be a great help to owners who cannot spend as much time as they would want with their loved ones. This past year, I completed the Pet Nutrition Diploma, the Pet Psychology Diploma, the Dog Walking and Pet Sitting Diploma and the Veterinary Support Care Assistant Diploma at the New Skills Academy. Furthermore, I am planning on getting a pet first-aid certificate in order to be able to help a pet in need.

About: Hello we are Ivan and Joyce, a couple living in Harrow. We have over 20 years experience with dogs of all sizes from puppies to elderly dogs. Joyce is a nurse and Ivan works with the Homeless, we love to spend our down time relaxing and going out for long walks with our 5 year old dachshund Boris. About: I didn't just grow up with dogs, I grew up in something close to a zoo. Raised on the outskirts of a city in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, my mother was the person the whole community turned to when an animal was in trouble. This included sick pets, injured wildlife, birds fallen from their nests. Our home was always full of creatures that needed care, patience, and someone who knew what they were doing. I was a very eager little assistant. Dogs have been central to my life since childhood. I have particular experience with Airedale Terriers and Scottish Terriers, and I've spent a lot of time caring for nursing mothers and their litters; including hand-rearing runts who needed extra attention and love. I understand dog behaviour, body language, and what it means to earn an animal's trust rather than just assume it. I've also taken several dogs through obedience school and they've all graduated. I regularly make trips to Rickmansworth to walk friends through Croxley Hall Woods, and closer to home I alternate between Headstone Park and Harrow Recreation Ground. Proper green space, not just pavements. I call all dogs puppies. Every single one. And the only time you'll catch me on my phone is to take photos of them. I'm not a militant walker. Sniffing is actively encouraged. A walk isn't just exercise, it's information gathering, and puppies deserve time to read the world at their own pace. If your dog has homework from obedience school, bring it on. I'm happy to practise commands and routines on our walks. On days I'm home working on music or sound design, my visiting puppies are right here on the couch, very much entertained of course. No unattended guests here, ever. Honestly, I need these walks as much as the dogs do. This isn't a side hustle I picked up last week. It's just how I live. My home is calm, clean and pup friendly. Puppies have access to fresh filtered water at all times. Food and medication go straight into my calendar so nothing is ever late or missed. Your dog eats and takes their meds exactly when they're used to, no exceptions. New puppies don't just get dropped into a group. Introductions always happen on neutral ground first. I watch how they interact before anyone comes home with me, and if I ever feel uncomfortable with a dog's behaviour around others, they become a solo visitor. The safety of animal already in my care comes first. I don't allow unattended roaming in my home. Puppies are supervised throughout the day. I take a five minute break every twenty five minutes. This is when I practise tricks, hand out focused cuddles and love on my pups. Bathroom breaks are on lead. No unsupervised outdoor time. My nearest vet is 600 metres away and I can be there in under six minutes on foot. I know exactly where I'm going if I ever need to move quickly. I keep owners updated with photos and messages throughout the day. You won't be left wondering how your dog is doing.

About: I have always wanted a puppy of my own but never had the chance as my parents don't allow pets in the house but I’ve grown up around family friends who own puppies and I am very good around them . I offer dog walking around Harrow. I prefer friendly and gentle dogs as it makes me feel welcomed by them and that it will be easy to get along with them . I am quite well organised and very friendly with animals which helps me get along with them . I am available most afternoons and evenings and would love to spend time with your dog. About: My dog walks are approximately 1 hour in duration. These are a great opportunity for dogs to get out into nature, explore the scents of the world, and socialise with other dogs. These are group walks which are set at the slowest dogs pace, but in an environment where those with more energy have the freedom to run and play. The walks themselves will be held in parks and fields which will give the option for the dogs to be off-lead (should the build-up of trust be sufficient!) as I find this is great for achieving a healthy body and mind. Mud is all but guaranteed, and I will have towels on hand to remove the worst of it before dropping them off back home. Dog walking is my full time job and so I'm available all week, every week. I have my regular clients, so additional walks will be conducted alongside / around these. My morning walks are sometimes fully booked, however midday and afternoon are generally less busy. I have a simple, systematic approach to walking safely with my dogs. Initially, all walks will be conducted on a short lead. This will then move onto a long lead (a harness is imperative for this!), and once they have demonstrated recalling to a satisfactory level, then off-lead can be viewed as an option.
