Hi! I’m Malaya. I’m a young animal enthusiast and first year student at the University of Nottingham. I am originally from London and I’ve grown up with animals my entire life, having owned fish, chickens and ducks at a young age. 10 years on, I have become highly experience in dog care, having both raised and trained a very difficult working line German shepherd, and trained alongside various incredible dog professionals. Together, we have gotten through periods of reactivity and serious handler aggression, and now are beginning our dog sport journey where we have fun dabbling in obedience, scentwork and protection, as well as everything amazing that comes with having a well trained and fulfilled dog! This is something that I long to share and help others, regardless of their goals! Whether it is one day hitting the trial field like I wish to do, or just managing to have a nice trip to the pub or cafe, I’m the kind of dog carer that hopes to help you achieve your aims. I love dogs of all shapes and sizes and I’m happy to work with dogs with behavioural issues as well, although this is something that will be thoroughly discussed if needed. My aim is to help upkeep your dog in all aspects during their daily walks to keep you satisfied! Whether that means a tired dog, or a dog that can now impressed guests, I’ll try my best to help you out! Whilst I recognise that sometimes walks in London can be “boring”, walks with me are anything but! Walks with me typically involve: - a lot of play! This play is an amazing way to encourage engagement - a lot of sniffing! Dogs use their noses for everything and there’s no way I’d stop that - a lot of rewards! Whether your dog is a foodie or a toy dog, or even just a verbal praise kind of pup, they’ll be getting lots of it! Creating high value in our relationship is so important - lots of water and lots of shade! We all know how hot summers in the UK can be, and so, in warm weather, we take a lot of breaks and practice some settling in the shade - up-keeping your training plan! While I am not a dog trainer professionally, I am more than happy to keep you any key elements of your dog’s training that you need!

Malaya is friendly with great communication and was very keen to learn from us how best to look after our rescue staffie Daisy. Malaya has experience training and looking after dogs in the past and it shows in the questions she asked and how she interacted with Daisy. Daisy was well cared for and the house left clean and tidy, we would happily recommend Malaya as a sitter.
Malaya is an excellent dog walker, she walks my very large dog during the day and he absolutely loves her. She does a great job and I'd definitely recommend her!
My pups seemed happy with her and were nice and tired after their walk will definitely use her services again when I’m in the area . ❤️❤️
Malaya- Skye is new to Rover and truly a rare undiscovered talent, she has a fantastic grasp of both canine training principles and execution, is flexible and willing to heed instruction(s). If you are seeking a dog walker whom has the ability and skill to either introduce, or build upon core training for and upon behalf of your furry friends, then look no further than Malaya-Skye. She and my little Cadbury have built a fantastic relationship thus far, and I know that he is in safe hands during walks. I was impressed by the fact that for each of our four scheduled walks Malaya came with a loose training plan, led by the needs of the dog, asked about reactivity and allergies ahead of time, arrived with treats and thereafter asked me if Cadbury perhaps had any toys that she could utilise during their walks together. Cadbury and I fully endorse Malaya- Skye. Woofs and wagging tails. :)
Malaya has looked after my rabbits several times and we have always have had good experiences with her. She communicates well and ensures that she is giving the highest standard of care to the animals that she works with. Highly recommended

Zeitplan
I currently attend university a few hours a week so i have plenty of time to dedicate to your pet! For all services in London, I can guarantee almost my full attention due to scheduled breaks!

Please note that I will not offer drop-ins and/or overnight stays if anyone is home. This is for my personal safety. When looking after your pets in your home, I hope to be an extension of you personally! Please leave instructions for me to follow (unless verbally communicated) and I’ll be sure they’re done!
Ein typischer Tag
I am a big advocate for both mental, physical and breed specific fulfilment in dogs. For my own dog, this means sports. For your dog, it may mean tricks, sniffing, finding games, ball searches. Whatever it may be, you can be assured that your dog will be having the time of their lives! My key aim is always to ensure that your dog is having fun and the best way to do so is through play, as this not only is enjoyable but is also a key way to build a relationship with our smaller friends.
