About: I've cared for dogs since I was a child with the family dog. I've had experience caring for guide dog puppies, so I'm well prepared for any puppy antics. I'm currently searching for work so my schedule may change, but I will update my profile and availability if it changes. Otherwise, I am available all day everyday except Friday mornings. I live with one friendly cat who will most likely keep to herself. I have a green garden with a fence and I live close to many parks perfect for dog walks.

I usually take the dogs out 3-4 times a day, including a long walk in the morning. I am a poor sleeper, so there is usually only 7 hours between the last walk in the evening and the next one in the morning. I do not have any pets of my own (yet!) but I have plenty of experience of making friends with new (borrowed) dogs.

Amanda takes care checking the temperature on hot days and touching the pavement to see if its too hot for paws etc. My dog is overweight so she tempts him with his toys and balls to make sure he gets a bit of movement in on visits. I like the detail Amanda gives when they go out on a longer walk, you can see how long exactly and where around the neighbourhood. He may lunge at other dogs and Amanda is so reassuring to me letting me know if she sees another dog coming she'll cross the road. Thank you so much again!”

About: Myself and my fiancé, Elliot, have grown up with pets all our lives and miss having dogs around so much! We live in St Albans with both Clarence Park and Verulamium Park in super easy reach and we feel at a loss going for walks without a pooch in tow. We’re super active and love to be outside (no matter the weather). We’re a relatively low key, responsible and chilled couple. Both of us have experience looking after our family dogs as puppies, right through to old age. We also appreciate how much of a family member they are and that it’s scary leaving your dog with someone else who you hardly know - we’d of course be open to meeting anyone and their dog before needing to commit to us taking care of them - trust is so important! We promise to care for and love your pooch just as you would :) I work two days a week from home, starting at 9am so can do pick up anytime before. I’m an early riser so morning walks before 9am are no problem. I have an hour for lunch break where I love to get out of the house, and from 5.30pm free as a bird! Boarding over the weekend is no problem and for all day care I’d be taking your pooch of 2-3 walks a day if that suits the dog. Of course if elderly and needs shorter/less walks that’s not a problem! Our garden is completely fenced of with no means of escape! Our home is around 1,000 sq ft mid-terrace. We have no problem with dogs going upstairs but of course if this is against what they do at home, we will enforce any rules you have for them so we don’t undo any training!

About: I previously raised three dogs of my own and have over 15 years of experience caring for dogs. After they all passed away, I hoped to share the love I had for them with even more dogs. I am also a professional pet groomer. During boarding stays, grooming services can be added if needed, so every owner can welcome home their dog clean, fresh, and smelling wonderful. I work from home Monday to Friday, so I’m available to take dogs out for walks at any time. I can arrange boarding most of the time as well. I have a fenced garden at home, and dogs are free to move around the house except for the bedrooms. There are only two of us in the household, with no children, your dog can enjoy a peaceful, stable environment and have a happy, relaxing holiday. Please tell me about your pet’s daily routine and eating habits. I will do my best to follow their usual schedule so they can feel just as comfortable as they do at home.

My main priority when dog sitting is to ensure your dog feels as close to home as possible! Whether that's letting them under the blanket or playing fetch all day long, I will always go above and beyond to cater to their wants and needs😊. I work at a doggy daycare, where I’ve taken part in several dog welfare and behaviour training sessions and gained lots of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I absolutely love getting to know each dog and making sure they feel safe, happy, and comfortable while in my care. I’m also happy to offer extra training if requested, and I have access to secure, enclosed fields -perfect for safe playtime or recall training. I work Tuesday Wednesday Thursday in the mornings, around these days I am always available as I work from home. On request I may also be able to board during the week as I can take dogs to work with me! I live in a house with a fenced in garden with plenty of space for your dog to run around. I currently have a older Labrador who is very chill and tends to keep to herself and sleep most of the time. I never have any issues with the dogs staying getting along with her, but feel free to ask for a meet beforehand if this would put your mind at ease!
