About: Having cared for animals my entire life, including two German Shepherds, a horse and my Bengal cat, I’m confident handling pets of all temperaments. I provide attentive, reliable care tailored to each animal’s needs, balancing affection, exercise, routine and boundaries to ensure they feel safe, happy and well looked after while you’re away. I currently work part-time, so I’m highly flexible and available throughout the week, with some weekend availability. Typically available from 11am onwards, including evenings upon request. “Amanda has been a great sitter for us, for me and for Bentley, on long work days I've been able to relax knowing he's in capable hands. Amanda takes care checking the temperature on hot days and touching the pavement to see if its too hot for paws etc. My dog is overweight so she tempts him with his toys and balls to make sure he gets a bit of movement in on visits. I like the detail Amanda gives when they go out on a longer walk, you can see how long exactly and where around the neighbourhood. He may lunge at other dogs and Amanda is so reassuring to me letting me know if she sees another dog coming she'll cross the road. Thank you so much again!”

About: I previously raised three dogs of my own and have over 15 years of experience caring for dogs. After they all passed away, I hoped to share the love I had for them with even more dogs. I am also a professional pet groomer. During boarding stays, grooming services can be added if needed, so every owner can welcome home their dog clean, fresh, and smelling wonderful. I work from home Monday to Friday, so I’m available to take dogs out for walks at any time. I can arrange boarding most of the time as well. I have a fenced garden at home, and dogs are free to move around the house except for the bedrooms. There are only two of us in the household, with no children, your dog can enjoy a peaceful, stable environment and have a happy, relaxing holiday. Please tell me about your pet’s daily routine and eating habits. I will do my best to follow their usual schedule so they can feel just as comfortable as they do at home.

About: I have taken care of dogs, cats in the local area. Neighbours, family and friends have relied on me to walk, feed and keep pets company whilst they are on holiday! I have recently finished university and am available to help whilst I look for a full-time job! About: Myself and my fiancé, Elliot, have grown up with pets all our lives and miss having dogs around so much! We live in St Albans with both Clarence Park and Verulamium Park in super easy reach and we feel at a loss going for walks without a pooch in tow. We’re super active and love to be outside (no matter the weather). We’re a relatively low key, responsible and chilled couple. Both of us have experience looking after our family dogs as puppies, right through to old age. We also appreciate how much of a family member they are and that it’s scary leaving your dog with someone else who you hardly know - we’d of course be open to meeting anyone and their dog before needing to commit to us taking care of them - trust is so important! We promise to care for and love your pooch just as you would :) I work two days a week from home, starting at 9am so can do pick up anytime before. I’m an early riser so morning walks before 9am are no problem. I have an hour for lunch break where I love to get out of the house, and from 5.30pm free as a bird! Boarding over the weekend is no problem and for all day care I’d be taking your pooch of 2-3 walks a day if that suits the dog. Of course if elderly and needs shorter/less walks that’s not a problem! Our garden is completely fenced of with no means of escape! Our home is around 1,000 sq ft mid-terrace. We have no problem with dogs going upstairs but of course if this is against what they do at home, we will enforce any rules you have for them so we don’t undo any training!

About: Hi, we’re Chris (30) and Renay (29), and both love the company of dogs. Having grown up around dogs we both understand how important it is to find the right person to look after them. Last year my family got a Rottweiler puppy and so I have very recent experience helping to look after him, but we are equally comfortable with older dogs. We live in a house with fenced garden and have plenty of green space within a relatively short walking distance. I currently work from home 2/3 days a week and will be easily able to meet their needs during this time including walks and playing. On weekends we will typically both be around to look after your dog and will thoroughly enjoy long walks with them. We will provide attentive, hands on care for your dog and respond individually to their needs. We have a fenced back garden and no other pets in the house with plenty of green space easily accessible.

About: Hi! I’ve grown up with dogs all my life. I have had dogs of all sizes from large labradors to tiny Pomeranians. I have a dog of my own named Winston who is sweet, cuddly and fully trained. He is a little shy but once he gets to know your dog, they will be best friends 😊 I am fully available to give all my attention to your lovely dog. I am an early bird too so I can walk your dog before, during or after work 😄 I live in a 2 story house which gives dogs a lot of space to move around. We have a closed fence in our backyard with artificial grass but as a preference, I like to take dogs outside for a walk or to our front yard where there is real grass. We have a lot of dog toys to choose from and fresh water when needed.

About: I adore all pets and I have the freedom and flexibility to be able to care for your dogs from home. With plenty of long walks closely available your dog will get plenty of exercise. I am available 7 days a week. I work full time from home and only look after one dog at a time so they will get 100% attention. Long early morning and afternoon walks will give your dog plenty of exercise. I love to play ball games at home, in the garden or on walks. Giving your dog times of stimulation and rest are important but happy to follow the same routine as the owners.
