“Shishir and Marion took great care of Alfie, from the start they saw I was anxious about leaving him with a strangers and did everything they could help reassure me, allowing me to schedule a few meetings and greets to get to know them and for them to get to know Alfie. We needed to drop Annie off earlier than planned and she was more than accommodating, felt instantly at ease which was perfect as we had a busy day and couldn’t check our phones. About: I’ve grown up around dogs, they have always been a part of my family, we currently have two and one is a rescue. But since moving out of my family home I really miss having dogs around which is why I’m more than happy to help out looking after others! I often help out with friends and families dogs too from walking to house sitting whilst on holiday. They all range in size and age so I have varied experience with all different dogs. I currently work as a surveyor but I have the flexibility to work from home 3 days a week so plenty of time to help with your dogs. I’m usually not available on Tuesday and Thursdays, and If I’m not available on the weekends this will be shown in my calendar. I keep my calendar kept as up to date as possible. Looking after dogs in the owners house, I will be able to follow advice and rules of their house as I’ve done this multiple times with friends/ families dogs. I basically mirror the routine that the owner follows so the dog can be relaxed as possible.
“This was my first experience hiring a pet sitter, and I couldn’t be happier with it. I was away for a week, and Natalia took such wonderful care of my cats. She was kind, attentive, and kept me updated with regular photos and videos, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. I would definitely use her services again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter. 🐾💛”

“Lara was amazing. Kept us informed twice daily with photos and info. Our cats always looked relaxed and happy. Lara spent time with them just playing and stroking them. I would highly recommended Lara and would book her again. She was a star.”
“Took my booking at short notice, sent me so many wonderful pictures of merlin, he was very well looked after, this is my second time having June stay the night for him and 100% would book again.”

“Purple and Archie were amazing cat sitters! They sent daily photos and videos, kept our cats happy and playful, and were super friendly and easy to reach. We felt totally at ease and would book them again in a heartbeat!”

“Rosie was brill, arranged a visit before we went away for an introduction, to understand our cats needs and where everything is etc. Sent daily photos and updates whilst we were away and was happy to accommodate flexible visits, she also kindly swept and hoovered before we came back! Thanks so much Rosie”

About: I've been fortunate to live with cats my entire life and have experience caring for cats with a variety of personalities and needs. I recently adopted a kitten who is half Domestic Shorthair and half Maine Coon, and she keeps me on my toes with her endless energy and love of attention. I also have a Sphynx cat named Finn. Because Sphynx cats require specialized care, I'm experienced with regular skin cleaning, ear cleaning, litter box maintenance (they tend to have faster metabolisms), and administering eye and ear medications when needed. I understand that every cat is different, and I'm happy to adapt to each cat's routine and provide plenty of attention, playtime, and care.

“Jessica did a great job of looking after our cat Coco . Feeding him playing with him and grooming him he seemed very happy when we got home. Also she kept things looking tidy and clean. Would recommend thanks again.”

About: I regularly dog sit for family and friends and have done for many years. I have cared for dog with simple needs and also more sensitive dogs with complex needs and thoroughly enjoy both. I feed, walk, bathe and interect with them with the care and attention as if they were my own. This makes me their number one choice for a dog sitter. I work full-time in London and so only have weekends to care for pets, but I am commited to spending my time off caring for animals. I love to be active and spend my time off exercising and exploring the local area. I live in an average sized flat with no garden but am surrounded by green space and exciting dog walks and go outside regularly, even without dogs. The flat has a decent sized lounge which makes an excellent home for a dog.

About: While I don’t have formal professional experience yet, I’ve grown up with my own pets, regularly help my mum who works as a professional dog walker, and spend a lot of time with my boyfriend’s cats. This has given me hands-on experience with both dogs and cats of different breeds and temperaments, keeping them calm and making sure they feel at home. I’m a quick learner, genuinely passionate about animals, and fully committed to giving every pet the care and attention they deserve.
About: I’ve been pet sitting for the last few years (including dogs, cats, and hamsters), and have experience in walking, check-ins, and overnight care. I’m excited to meet your pet(s), and open to any type/breed!! 💕🎉 At the moment I am available in terms of scheduling, and am free most days. Please contact for more details to discuss both of our availability. I feel very comfortable in my ability to walk and care for animals safely, and it is always my priority to keep them from harm. I’m happy to co-operate with any special rules or needs your pet(s) may have.

“We came across Gigi while we were looking for a dogsitter for our tiny 8 year old Maltese, Grohl. We were moving and we needed someone to look after Grohl while the moving was taking place and she was amazing! Grohl has had a wonderful day with Gigi and we received constant updates. She provided our boy with lots of love and care and we will definitely book with her again ❤️ Thanks Gigi!”

“June helped us out massively on short notice when our planned sitter cancelled. She was so amazing with our anxious dog and knew exactly how to care for more anxious dogs and how to manage him. I got very regular updates throughout the day with lots of pictures, and it was so reassuring to see how calm, relaxed and content our dog looked! Will be booking in again soon!”

“Natália is an absolutely fantastic sitter. She looked after my greyhound companion for the first time on one of the hottest days of the year, and she was so careful about keeping her comfortable in the heat. I got regular updates by text, including photos. I could tell Georgia had fun with Natália- she looked so happy in all the images. Natália is experienced with dogs and is a very gentle, caring person. She intuitively understood how to best look after Georgia, who is an unusual dog and has some quite specific needs. I will definitely go to Natália again, and would not hesitate to recommend her to others.”

“Dominique was such a great sitter for Frankie. He can be a nervous boy but she put us at ease and was really sweet and understanding. Her dog Doug is an absolute gent and really took in Frankie under his wing. Will definitely book again.”

“Emma was brilliant! She was so flexible in taking Pepper at short notice and kept us updated with great communication throughout. Pepper clearly loved her time there — she didn’t seem to want to leave! Emma went above and beyond to make sure Pepper was well-fed, comfortable, and cared for. We will definitely be booking with her again. Thank you so much!”

About: Hi! I’m Jess and I live in St Albans with my dog, Barney. I am a huge dog lover and I promise to give your pup lots of affection and attention when in my care as if they were my own. I am also a keen photographer and will send you lots of pupdates along the way. I have helped friends out with their dogs of all sizes for twenty years, and nine years ago my dream became a reality when I got my very own dog! What sets me apart from other sitters is the bespoke, undivided attention I can provide your dog, with a mix of activity & play, along with calm & affection. I will listen to your specific needs to ensure their happiness is a priority and will give them all the love they deserve. I understand that they are family and know first hand the trust you put in someone when they are in their care. Typically drop-ins are 30 minutes and walks are 1 hour, but I can be totally flexible to your dog’s needs! For day care, I own my house with a safe and secure garden. I work from home so am always present and am able to give them unlimited attention. I cannot drive, but am a keen walker so can come to you, meet in town, or you can drop your dog to me. For overnight boarding, I only take one dog at a time to ensure the very best experience. My dog Barney is a 9 year old Cocker Spaniel and he is very friendly, calm, and reads other dogs well. He will join us for walks and will be in the house for boarders, so it’s the perfect set up if you are hoping to socialise your dog. He is fully vaccinated and neutered and I ask the same of your dog too please. I will introduce him during our meet and greet to see if we and the pups get along to reassure us all :)

About: As a dedicated animal lover with hands-on experience caring for dogs of all shapes and sizes, I’m comfortable handling everything from daily walks to overnight stays. Growing up with my own pets and regularly assisting my mum, a professional dog walker, has equipped me with the skills I need. Having recently returned from travelling I now have a flexible schedule with availability on weekdays weekends and even last-minute bookings. I understand the trust you place in me and promise your pets will always be in safe loving hands. Having recently returned from travelling, I’m currently in between jobs which means I have a completely open and flexible schedule. I’m available any day of the week, including weekends and bank holidays, and am happy to accommodate last-minute or short-notice bookings. Your pet will always have my full, undivided attention! At home, I have my own pets and a warm welcoming environment with a garden so your pet will have plenty of space to relax and play. I’ll treat them just like one of my own, maintaining their usual routine as closely as possible including feeding walks and any medications or special requirements. I’m equally happy to come to your home which means minimal disruption for your pet. They’ll stay in their familiar environment with all their home comforts. I’ll take care of everything from feeding and walks to keeping them company and sending you regular updates so you’re always in good hands.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 12 and we got our first family dog, since growing up I have looked after and owned all kinds of dogs from Schnauzers to Pit Bulls. Our last dog passed early this year and we would love to get another in time so looking after them for others in the meantime until we are ready fills a huge hole in our hearts. Working from home, both my partner and I are available most days throughout the day so we can take time out to walk and give dogs attention. We have a fenced garden with a security gate and my mum lives next door with her dog who spends time with us regularly. We have a dog loving toddler to also keep your dog company and play.
About: I’ve been doing dog sitting through borrow my doggy and rover for the last 6 years in London, I’ve just moved to St Albans with my partner and we both work hybrid, so have plenty of time on our hands for your furry friends. Very good with keeping to training and routine. I have had dogs and cats all of my life, but taken care in a professional sense over the last few years. I am currently working from home most of the week, as does my partner. We see this as a great excuse to get out for walks and explore the local area. I have a very safe flat within a gated community, I’m always able to keep an eye on dogs and my partner is regularly here too to help (she is also an experienced dog sitter). We move all plants out of the pets way when they are visiting and we are very close to a large park. Happy to provide pup dates and do facetime tours of the house if needed.

“I needed a dog walker last minute before traveling and was so pleased to find Brooke. She communicated clearly from the start, was very professional, and kept me updated throughout the walk. My French bulldog, Lily, can be a bit challenging, but Brooke handled her confidently and with care. I’ll definitely be reaching out again.”

“Our experience with Emily has been excellent - brilliant communication, always on time, and clearly very experienced with dogs - our Labrador absolutely loves his walkies with her and we feel he is in very safe hands. We look forward to many more bookings. Thank you, Emily!”

“Amanda has been a great sitter for us, for me and for Bentley, on long work days I've been able to relax knowing he's in capable hands. Amanda takes care checking the temperature on hot days and touching the pavement to see if its too hot for paws etc. My dog is overweight so she tempts him with his toys and balls to make sure he gets a bit of movement in on visits. I like the detail Amanda gives when they go out on a longer walk, you can see how long exactly and where around the neighbourhood. He may lunge at other dogs and Amanda is so reassuring to me letting me know if she sees another dog coming she'll cross the road. Thank you so much again!”

About: Hello! I'm a Midwife and freelance classical singer. I'm 33 years old and grew up in a family home that was affectionately nicknamed "The Zoo". We always had 3 cats (and a menagerie of other furry friends), and they were a huge part of our family. Now I am cat-less and looking forward to meeting some new furry friends whilst giving the human-folk peace of mind that their beloved cats are very well looked after in my care.

About: Myself and my fiancé, Elliot, have grown up with pets all our lives and miss having dogs around so much! We live in St Albans with both Clarence Park and Verulamium Park in super easy reach and we feel at a loss going for walks without a pooch in tow. We’re super active and love to be outside (no matter the weather). We’re a relatively low key, responsible and chilled couple. Both of us have experience looking after our family dogs as puppies, right through to old age. We also appreciate how much of a family member they are and that it’s scary leaving your dog with someone else who you hardly know - we’d of course be open to meeting anyone and their dog before needing to commit to us taking care of them - trust is so important! We promise to care for and love your pooch just as you would :) I work two days a week from home, starting at 9am so can do pick up anytime before. I’m an early riser so morning walks before 9am are no problem. I have an hour for lunch break where I love to get out of the house, and from 5.30pm free as a bird! Boarding over the weekend is no problem and for all day care I’d be taking your pooch of 2-3 walks a day if that suits the dog. Of course if elderly and needs shorter/less walks that’s not a problem! Our garden is completely fenced of with no means of escape! Our home is around 1,000 sq ft mid-terrace. We have no problem with dogs going upstairs but of course if this is against what they do at home, we will enforce any rules you have for them so we don’t undo any training!
About: I really enjoy caring for dogs and always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well looked after. I’m flexible and attentive, offering a calm home environment with plenty of company, attention, and walks. I grew up in a household with multiple dogs—at one point we had five—so I’m very used to dogs of all ages, including puppies. I genuinely miss having a dog around, so I love welcoming them into my home and making them feel relaxed and happy. I’m calm, friendly, and playful, but also confident setting clear boundaries when needed so dogs feel secure and behaviour stays consistent. I’m always happy to follow your dog’s routine closely and will keep you updated with regular photos and messages. I work Monday - Friday 9-5pm from home. I am able to take frequent breaks and take an hour for lunch. In the morning I go for a walk, and I would love to have more of a reason to go out walking at lunch or in the evening too - it’s likely I’ll do 2 walks with your dog! My partner loves dogs too and she will be also helping out and enjoying cuddles when she’s not at work. I have a fenced garden and hard surfaces downstairs (no carpet) so the house is well set up for a dog. I’m also happy to crate your dog if needed or have your dog sit in my office with me while I work (again, hard floor).

About: I’m a very active person so I love dogs that I can walk and or run. Ive been doing this for friends and family for as long as I can remember! I’m also a big knitter and lover of cosy evenings in so perfect for snuggles with a cat which I’ve also grown up with. I’m currently looking for full time work and am based in st Albans. I have plenty of time during my days to walk or look after your animal. I’m a very trustworthy 28year old female that loves all animals. I follow clear instructions and ask questions if I need to to make sure I’m providing the care you’d like

About: Hi, we’re Chris (30) and Renay (29), and both love the company of dogs. Having grown up around dogs we both understand how important it is to find the right person to look after them. Last year my family got a Rottweiler puppy and so I have very recent experience helping to look after him, but we are equally comfortable with older dogs. We live in a house with fenced garden and have plenty of green space within a relatively short walking distance. I currently work from home 2/3 days a week and will be easily able to meet their needs during this time including walks and playing. On weekends we will typically both be around to look after your dog and will thoroughly enjoy long walks with them. We will provide attentive, hands on care for your dog and respond individually to their needs. We have a fenced back garden and no other pets in the house with plenty of green space easily accessible.
“Excellent service from Elizabeth. Came to visit before to get to know Myla. She enjoyed her walks, meals, and Elizabeth's company. Elizabeth was very good and experienced with older dogs needing shorter walks and medication. Would recommend and book again.”

“Our miniature schnauzer, Eliza, looked like she had a great time with Abi and Declan. They sent daily videos of her enjoying her walks with the other dog. Long walks across the fields and paddling in a stream! She was absolutely exhausted when she got back to us which is a sign of a good holiday! 🐾 Thank you!”

“June was amazing from start to finish, replied quickly and was very easy to book my dates giving me the peace of mind for planning my trip. I was sent regular updates and photos, Maggie is an anxious rescue and can be very nervous around other dogs. June understood this and gave her the support and experience she needed, Maggie even felt comfortable enough to make new doggy friends and became the star of the local cafe. As a very social dog with people Maggie was pandered for and looked after beyond expectations, I cannot recommend June enough and I will be passing on her details to all my fellow dog parents.”

About: I have raised and cared for two Labradors since I was 11 years old including walking, feeding and training. I love spending time with all dog breeds and have experience with caring for young and old dogs alike and all ages in between. I am always the friend that stops on the road to say hello to a passing dog! I work from home 3 days a week so am able to dog sit and walk during these days. I also work locally so can walk dogs before or after work on the days I do go into the office. I can be flexible. Our home is very close to Clarence park, which is a very friendly area for dog walking. I have a car so can take to a number of different parks or woods, which is my idea of a good walk! Please do let me know if the are any specific instructions regarding food, special care or medication. Additionally, being aware of the dog's personality and behaviour would be great so I can better plan walks or activities.
“Thank you to Robin and Helena for the brilliant care of our girl Hallie for the past 10 days. Through the many texts and videos we could see Hallie was happy and having her very own holiday with love, care and lovely water walks during the cooler hours of the heatwave. When Helena described Hallies obnoxious shedding as Hallie glitter, I knew she was in great hands!!”

“Our dog Chai had a wonderful time with Tanirika. He stayed over for 5 days and was well looked after. Tanirika gave us regular updates throughout his stay and we could see he was thoroughly enjoying himself and was in great hands. This reassurance allowed me and my family to relax and enjoy our trip abroad. I highly recommend Tanirika if you ever need someone to look after your dog.”

“Our pups had there first overnight stay with Sacha and Christina. They made them super welcome in their home, looked after them like they were their own, kept us updated regularly. A huge thanks to Sacha and Christina for looking after our babies.”

“Buddy recently had daycare and an overnight stay, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. I loved receiving frequent updates, and it was clear he had a great time, especially spending time with Flossy. Buddy came home happy and relaxed. I would highly recommend!”

“Imogen was great. She was really understanding and flexible of my uncertainty and chaos in dealing with a big house move and provided a great safe haven for my pets. It was the first time my cat was away and she managed my dog and cat very well.”
