“Jordan was an absolute godsend! He looked after our puppy doing drop ins for a whole week and he was great. Always on time, sent lots of pictures and summer loved him! Cannot thank him enough!”

“Olivia arranged to come round prior to the booking and was really calm and confident with our 5month old goldendoodle. Olivia sent regular updates and pictures of Daphne playing and relaxing. 10/10 recommend Olivia :)”

“I definitely recommend Yasmin! Yasmin was an excellent cat sitter. It was lovely to meet her to explain everything before I went away. She was kind and reassuring. My cat was happy with her visiting while I was away. Yasmin did everything as I asked, playing with, brushing and giving treats to my cat as well as feeding, watering and litter tray-ing. She also sent me lovely photos to show my cat was okay. Yasmin reassured me when I was worried while away and wasnt judgemental about the home not being pristine. She gave me updates after each visit which was lovely. I felt that the service was definitely worth the price and I feel my cat was looked after better than if I had had a friend or relative to ask to look in on her. Thanks so much Yasmin!”

“Lovely sitter :) beerus was happy and spoilt :) we had lots of updates and videos :) the house was tidy :) she also text questions if she was unsure ( beerus is raw fed )”

“Lauren was great. She was available at very short notice and took good care of my cat while I was away for a few days to attend a family emergency. I highly recommend and would definitely hire her again!”

About: I have plenty of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats through family, friends, and neighbours. I regularly walk, feed, and spend time with dogs in my community, and I’ve also provided overnight stays at a friend’s house to keep pets comfortable in their own routine. I’m often trusted to look after family members’ dogs and cats during both short breaks and longer stays, which has given me experience with pets of different ages, temperaments, and needs. What sets me apart is my reliability, genuine love for animals, and the attention I give to making sure each pet feels happy, safe, and cared for—whether that’s through daily walks, playtime, or extra cuddles. Since I work from home and drive, I can offer a great deal of flexibility, making it easy to fit in visits, walks, or overnight stays that suit your pet’s needs. Since I work from home, I have the flexibility to easily fit pet care into my daily routine. I’m available throughout the day for walks, drop-in visits, feeding, or playtime, and I can also offer overnight stays when needed. Because I drive, I can adjust to different schedules and locations, making it simple to accommodate each pet’s individual needs. When caring for pets in their own home, I make sure they feel safe and comfortable by keeping to their usual routines and surroundings. I always follow the owner’s instructions closely for feeding, exercise, and any special requirements. I take the time to build trust with each pet so they feel secure and relaxed in my care. At home, I live with my three children (ages 10, 15, and 16), two friendly cats, and a tortoise, so I’m very used to a busy, pet-loving household. This gives me plenty of experience managing different animals’ needs calmly and confidently. Pets in my care are never left unattended for long periods, and I keep a close eye on their safety during walks and playtime. I’m reliable, respectful of your home, and committed to ensuring both pets and owners have complete peace of mind.
“Not sure if I can do another review. But wanted to show everyone that Georgia is great and I have booked again and will continue to book when needed. Great communication, and updates are fab! And I can tell she really takes care of my kitty. Egbert loves her!”

About: My family have always had pets! I have been brought up with cats, dogs, hamsters, guinea pigs. Animal care is my passion! My close family have cats and dogs, so if they’re busy or at work I do tend to help them out by taking them on walks. I have one cat, and I’m currently in the process of convincing my partner to rescue a dog with me! We both love animals so this is certainly the first step! I do work full time in a school, so I get all of the holidays off the same time as the students. However on the days that work, early morning walks/check ins or evening walks/check ins would be no issue at all. And of course there’s weekends that I’m free as well. My cat is super super loving and calm, my garden is fairly big and there’s a fence all the way around so there would be no safety issues
“Katie is an obvious dog lover! She arrived exactly as expected and followed all dog instructions as asked. I know Scamp was well looked after as he’s exhausted! I’d be delighted to have Katie look after Scamp if she is able and willing.”

About: With years of hands-on experience as a devoted dog owner, I bring a deep understanding of canine behavior, needs, and communication. What makes me unique is my intuitive approach to individual dog personalities. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all care. Whether it’s building trust with a rescue, managing high-energy breeds, or creating routines that support both mental stimulation and calm, I tailor my approach to each dog’s temperament, age, and background. From daily walks and training reinforcement to grooming, nutrition, and health monitoring, I treat every dog as if they were my own. Over the years, I’ve cared for puppies, seniors dogs, gaining practical knowledge in everything from socialization to medication management. I’m not just experienced—I’m passionate. Dogs aren’t just pets; they’re companions, and family. That belief drives my commitment to giving them the best life possible. I am available morning noon and night I can also come and walk your dog whenever you need. I can also do long or short term boarding. I’m an active, animal-loving woman with a real passion for spending time with dogs. I have a secure, fenced garden that’s perfect for safe outdoor play, plus I’m lucky to live near beautiful open fields—ideal for long, enriching walks and plenty of sniffing adventures! I truly understand that dogs are sensitive, social animals who don’t enjoy being left alone. That’s why I’m committed to giving them plenty of attention, companionship, and care throughout the day. I love to play, cuddle, and simply be present with them, making sure they feel relaxed, happy, and loved at all times.
About: I have a deep love for animals, especially dogs or cats. Coming with a background of having dogs and cats of my own since I was little I was always growing up around them either in my family or friends. I used to take care of my grandmas dogs through out my childhood by taking it for walks, vet, feeding, bathing & playing. Since last few years I have been around different types of dogs whilst living in Mauritius I was taking care of stray dogs by building trust and providing care, such as food, affection and in some cases even play time, as their wellbeing was important to me. Giving the love, care and affection to dogs/ cats brings me and the animal a lot of joy and I love taking care and having a good relationship with them. I can teach them tricks from young. I am also working part time and I am an artist. Enjoying being outdoors by going for a jog or a walk as well as staying indoors and being cosy whilst watching a movie or reading a book on a rainy day. • friendly • open to learning • responsible • fast learner Because I work early mornings, I have a lot of free time during the day and throughout the week to focus on caring for pets. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, so pet care fits naturally into my routine and allows me to give them plenty of attention, care, and companionship. Every pet is different, with their own personality, habits, and comfort levels, so I always adjust my care to suit their individual needs. I follow the owner’s routine and expectations closely to help pets feel relaxed, safe, and comfortable in their own home. I genuinely enjoy building trust with animals and do my best to give them the same love, attention, and care they’re used to receiving from their owners.

About: I’ve always been passionate about pets since I was very young and I couldn’t wait until I got older so I could get a dog of my very own. Almost 7 years ago I got my sweet cockapoo Nala she has changed my life in the most amazing way. She is reactive and it has definitely been a journey working with her to help give us both a better quality of life. Through my journey with Nala I have learned a lot of patience, compassion and empathy I’ve also learnt how to be extremely alert. I have cared for many of my family’s pets and am passionate and ready to help the wider public with the knowledge and skills I have gained in almost 5 years. I have also recently completed and achieved extensive knowledge through a trusted pet sitting and dog walking course. I’m nearing the end of my dog trainer course through The Dog Training college a positive reinforcement company giving me extensive knowledge on dog behaviour. I’m DBS checked and covered with Rover Insurance I’m happy to say I am available most days during working hours after I finish work at 12 so normally (12-7) with enough warning I’m quite flexible to help when needed for overnight stays and visits. I offered pet visits and pet care in your home and I will care for your pet like it’s my own I will ask for the pets routine and where the pet stays while you are away and I will follow those instructions to give you peace of mind while away from your pet. With my near qualifications as a dog trainer it helps me to assess and make sure your dog is as safe as possible.

About: I’ve spent many years caring for my grandparents’ dogs and have always enjoyed being around dogs of all sizes and personalities. Through regular walks, feeding, playtime and looking after them while family were away, I’ve learned how important it is to keep pets happy, comfortable and following their normal routine. I understand that every dog is different, so I’ll always take the time to get to know their personality, energy levels and any specific needs they have. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, plenty of play or simply relaxing with company, I’ll make sure they receive the care and attention they deserve. I’ll also keep you updated with regular photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your dog is safe, happy and well looked after. I offer flexible pet care around my work schedule and keep my availability on Rover fully up to date. I regularly provide dog walks and drop-in visits throughout the week, with occasional house sitting when my schedule allows. When I accept a booking, I’ll always ensure I have the time to give your pet the attention, exercise and companionship they deserve. I’ll also keep you updated with messages and photos so you know exactly how they’re getting on. Your pet’s safety, comfort and routine are my top priorities. During walks, I’ll always keep dogs on a lead unless you’ve specifically requested otherwise and it’s safe to do so. For drop-in visits and house sitting, I’ll carefully follow your feeding schedule, medication instructions, walking routine and any house rules you’ve provided. I understand that every pet is different, so I’ll take the time to get to know their personality and make sure they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. I’ll treat both your home and your pet with the same care and respect that I would expect for my own.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
