About: We have had family dogs for the last 11 years, we currently have 2 bearded collies, Merlin (11yrs) and Griffon (5yrs) and they are regular visitors to our new home we recently purchased! There is plenty of room for fun in the fenced garden and other very friendly dogs in the neighbourhood we may bump into on walks. I work from home so there will always be someone around for your furry friend. I work remotely full time, however I have a very active lifestyle and go for walks in the morning, lunch times and evenings. I also have a flexible work schedule and with enough notice can make day time walks work if required Our family dogs do not live with us, they are with my in-laws, however as retired parents should be, they are very keen travellers and we are very happy dog sitters! As mentioned, we have a fenced in garden and lots of surrounding areas for dog walks. I work from home so am around to monitor and keep fluffy friends company.

“Wow, what can I say about Amanda, her lovely home, and her amazing hospitality! This was the first time I’d ever left Marlo with someone who wasn’t family, and I honestly didn’t feel nervous at all. He stayed with her for 7 days, and she kept me updated throughout my holiday with pictures and videos, which gave me so much peace of mind. Marlowe has allergies and follows a strict raw diet, which Amanda was more than happy to accommodate. She even got him some suitable treats, which was such a thoughtful touch. He absolutely loved playing with her children’s dogs and was genuinely sad when they left; it felt like he was on holiday too! In fact, he seemed so happy there that I think he was a little disappointed to come home. I’ve already booked him in with Amanda again next month for an even longer stay, which says everything. About: My family have always had pets! I have been brought up with cats, dogs, hamsters, guinea pigs. Animal care is my passion! My close family have cats and dogs, so if they’re busy or at work I do tend to help them out by taking them on walks. About: I have always been surrounded by pets of all kinds. I have been a dog mum for 5 years now, walking, feeding, play time and lots of cuddles! I have recently moved to a ground floor flat with a HUGE garden perfect for play time for dogs of all kinds. My little pup does not live with me so don’t worry if your pooch doesn’t get along with other doggies! I am currently self employed so will be able to book out all day to play and cuddle your pups! I love going outdoors and currently live next to an amazing open space perfect for long walks and lots of ball throwing. We have a fenced in garden with a large metal gate to keep your dogs safe. I have a 4 year old cocker-spaniel to keep your pup company. Crates are also available if this is something that is required for nap times.

When pet sitting, I never leave your pet or home unattended for more than 4hours (I am able to accommodate dogs that cannot be left or can be left for shorter/longer periods) When dog boarding, someone will always be home. My husband is covered on my own private insurance and he holds the same informal training as myself. About: Because of my passion for animals, I studied veterinary technician in Turkey. I've had dogs since I was 14 years old. I took care of them as long as they lived, and sometimes I healed and adopted the sick ones. I was with them during their fun times and when they were sick. About: I’ve been a cat and dog owner for most of my life! From schnoodles to Irish red setters, to domestic snow leopards and moggies, I’ve loved all of them and provided great care. Whilst I’m not in a position to own a pet right now, I’d love to still nurture and care for other pets and help out my community. I work from home 3 days a week and spend 2 out 4 weekends a month at home. I take my own dog out for 2 walks a day everyday without fail. I have a good sized garden which is safe and fenced off. My dog has a bed downstairs but often sleeps upstairs in my bedroom but I would be happy for a dog staying overnight to be anywhere that he/she is comfortable in the home, there are no off limits areas.

I am often home on weekends and able to give your dog all the love, affection & walks My back garden is totally secure so dogs are completely safe. Dogs are allowed to sit on sofas with owners permission, I wouldn't want to instill any bad habits they're not allowed to do at home. I do have my own 6 year old staffie girl so any dog staying would need to be happy socialising with other dogs.

“Alex was a first class boarder for my little dog Bertie. It was the first time I had left Bertie with anyone other than my daughter, so I was a bit worried how he would be. But to my relief, as soon as Alex said hello to him, he was wagging his tail and licking Alex and wanting to play . I think Alex must speak dog! Bertie also loved the two children who also were great with him. They had a lovely big garden backing on to fields , making it ideal for lovely walks. The whole family were absolutely brilliant and obviously really adore dogs. I would highly recommend Alex and wouldn’t hesitate to take Bertie back again.”
