“Georgia took such wonderful care of my cat and kept me updated with lovely photos and messages, which I really appreciated. Seeing my cat looking so relaxed and happy made it so much easier to enjoy my trip, knowing they were being so well looked after.”

“Shania did look after our cat very well. I believe she is a one of the kind/trust worthy sitter. She has been updating us with pictures videos/calls and all the related information about our cat every single day. Leaving a house key with a stranger is not easy but her service made us to think differently. I would highly recommend Shania.💕 ”

“Ainhoa was absolutely amazing! She spent plenty of quality time playing with my kittens and made sure they were happy and comfortable while I was away. She sent daily updates and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. When I returned, my pets seemed extremely happy... which is every pet owner’s wish. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone caring and reliable.”

About: I have a good 5 years experience of taking care of an amazing Yorkshire terrier called Noah, he's my parents dog but I took care of him a lot because my parents usually travelled or went out for certain occasions and I stayed home with him over days or weeks on my own, so i was his sole carer for that time. My care ranged all the way from walking, playing and also bathing, however sometimes when he was sick or suffering from post surgery complications, such as diarrhoea for example i took care and treated him with medications. on a deeper level, I genuinely do love dogs and I think thats something that can be overlooked is that dogs can just be left alone and not taken care of but it's really something I'm passionate about because I do believe that dogs need the same or even more attention and care from a person because they are very social creatures and they love their owners and they deserve a lot more than they get sometimes, and being able to be that for them seeing them smiling and happy, there'd be no better feeling, look forward to the opportunity, please send me a message and we'll have a chat :) https://www.rover.com/sit/rodric72525 my routine is very flexible, if I had booked dog walks and dog sitting dog boarding for example or even dog check ins it can definitely be worked around my schedule because i work a flexible job that is not 9 to 5 so I guess most people would like that because I can be with a dog or animal when they are not at home which is good, I can also take days off because I'd like to get into this more full time and take it seriously but yeah I'm generally very flexible and if an owner wants to discuss an arrangement then I'd be definitely up for it I currently live in a high rise apartment it is a new build and very clean and definitely animal friendly it has lots of space for the animals to play, furniture they can be on and a bed, I also have a downstairs private park which they can run and around and play to their hearts content, 2 parks next to me which is really good for dog walking. I really love playing with dogs and taking care of them, so I definitely would be more hands on I wouldn't just have a dog in my house and then do my own chores, i generally prefer to be playing with a dog and learning about him and just having a good time and enjoying it

“Normally my Daughter looks after Albie, but my Granddaughter has become allergic and was recently hospitalised. At such short notice I was struggling to find anyone suitable and really thought I would have to cancel my trip. I came across Rover online and messaged Jingjing. She was professional, friendly and even though I put in the wrong dates, still managed to accommodate my very last minute request. We arranged a meet and greet - Albie immediately went to Jing and really liked her. I left instructions and Jing followed them perfectly. I received pictures, videos and feedback and will happily call on Jing for the future. I highly recommend this lovely young lady 🥰”

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We booked David through Cat in a Flat for the first time while we were away on holiday, to look after our two cats, and we honestly couldn’t have been happier with the service. From the very beginning, David was so reliable, friendly and professional. He came to meet us beforehand to collect the key, which really put our minds at ease before we went away. While we were on holiday, he took such great care of our cats and kept our home absolutely spotless. David really went above and beyond what we expected. He kept us updated, sent us photos of the cats while we were away, and it was lovely being able to see that they were happy and being well looked after. It gave us such peace of mind knowing they were in safe hands. This was our first time using a cat-sitting service, and David made the whole experience completely stress-free. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring and reliable to look after their pets. Thank you so much, David! We’ll definitely be using you again next time we go away. 🐾❤️
Sonia is amazing! I was hesitant to book a cat sitter as we've always had family available when we've been away before, the worry if they will be looked after as well as when they are with us. Well that all disappeared when we met Sonia! She was extremely professional and attentive to all 3 of our cats needs. She went above and beyond. We are so greatful and felt completely at ease and happy to know she was looking after our cats. She had to administer medication, which was no problem for her at all and clean up after one of our cats had diarrhoea. Sonia sent us updates after each visit along with plenty of photos, which we loved to see. Sonia stayed longer than she needed to, making sure the cats got to go in the garden or for extra cuddles when they settled down on her lap. There was even a little surprise for us when we arrived home. I would definitely recommend Sonia and can assure you, she will care for your cats as if they are her own. Thank you so much Sonia

Dina is an absolutely fantastic cat sitter! She is worth every penny and gives you complete peace of mind while you’re away. Regular updates, very professional, trustworthy, and clearly cares about the cats. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her and will definitely be using her again!

Jade was amazing. Went above and beyond. She even changed the time when asked to could accommodate me with no hesitation. She took her time was not rushed. I can’t rate her highly enough 10 stars if I could. Will be booking again with her in the future. Highly recommended.

Shania has been incredible. Our boy Ninja is usually very shy and hides from strangers so was expecting not much interaction. We were surprised to see him interacting with Shania and greeting her. She has a way with him and made us feel so happy knowing he was getting social time and not just food etc. Shes a kind caring sitter, sent photos and videos daily, keeping us updated thoroughly. Would highly recommend her services and will be using her again as and when needed. Thanks Shani, Ninja will miss you and glad you got the best out him.

Zoya was absolutely wonderful and took such good care of our kitten whilst we were away. She provided constant updates and photos/ videos so we had total peace of mind that Layla was receiving the best care possible. Layla loved Zoya too and had lots of attention from her. We will definitely use Zoya again in the future. Thank you!!

We’re very lucky to have found Jodi. She’s very responsive and highly reliable. She provides photo updates every visit and makes sure to stick around so she can see all my cats. I loved receiving regular photos of how my pet was doing. Highly recommend to any pet owner!

Did a great job looking after our moggie whilst also dealing with foxes getting into the house at the same time as we left a window open! Xin was amazing - super helpful and very understanding whilst also doing the job we originally asked of her e.g. looking after our cat, thanks Xin!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
