“Cannot thank Anya enough for helping take care of our two cats while we were away. They were very well cared for and we returned to two happy and content beans. Anya is warm, calm and professional and kept us well updated after each visit via a report card which really gave us peace of mind. We'd be more than happy to work with them again in the future.”

“From start to finish Hanna has been wonderful, friendly, quick responses & attentive to my preferences while I was away. She did a fantastic job of caring for my x2 kitties, who are quite scared normally. Thank you Hanna 💜”

“Tasha did a fantastic job of looking after Panther & Rogue. She was updating me regularly; asked my preferences on different topics eg when the weather changed and got cold what temperature I preferred to have for my cats & how to change the heating; & sent videos & photos as per my requests. Would definitely recommend Tasha & choose her again. Xx”

About: I have taken care of all size dogs for the 8 years of having my own pet. I have had overnight stays with both cats and dogs and have had nothing but great feedback. I have undergone a puppy training course at my university. I have experience working with any size dog and whether they are anxious or playful I promise your pets will have a wonderful time. I am at university during term time. And as long as I'm not in my lectures I am more than happy to help take care of your pets,. I have a high fenced garden and will ensure all doors are sealed shut so that they are safe in their surroundings at all times.
About: Friends, neighbours and family have all counted on me to look after their pets. I have bathed, walked, pet sat, fed the pets that I have cared for. The care I have provided includes dog-walking. I am incredibly reliable, trustworthy, and flexible. I have plenty of free time to burn and have a blast with your cute pets! I am available in the morning & afternoon, but I'm flexible and can accommodate mornings and evenings too. If they have any specific needs/anything that I need to be aware about e.g. doesn't like traffic, other dogs etc. Also if you have any specific rules for your dog such as not being allowed on furniture or no treats during the day.
About: I have an extensive history of working with dogs. I have owned working therapy dogs and have been working at a dog sanctuary for the past 2 years, handling dogs from all walks of life and all sizes. Dogs give so much love voluntarily and deserve that back. I insist dogs are walked for a good few mikes daily unless medically incapable. I will ensure they are fed to your specification and will follow any behavioural instructions you may have in place to ensure continuity. I am open to any questions you may have or to alleviate any concerns you may have. I am freely available for any pet care needs all I ask is for the advanced notice stated. I also have to collect my son from school on a Wednesday and every other Friday so the dog would need to be ok for a short period of time alone. I have a gated garden and a big field and woods near by. I can crate your dog if required. I am flexible and will work around your needs. If boarding, then dog/cat would need to be dropped and collected from my property.
About: I have experience of dogs for more than 20 yrs. I have my own pet dog who I have cared for last 4 years. Love dogs. I work from home. So the dog stays close to me 24 hours. I have 2 teenage kids who are animal lovers too and knows how to lookafter dogs. My youngest is very good at dog training, and dogs likes her company. I have a fenced garden and outdoor field for dogs to run around. The house is fully air-conditioned to help fur babies stay cool in summer. I do also occasionally put doggy splash mat for them to play during summer days. Your pet will have a pawerfet holiday while you are away.

About: I’ve always loved animals and enjoy spending time caring for pets of all kinds. I’m patient, dependable, and make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and happy while their owner is away. I can help with feeding, walks, playtime, basic grooming via my daughters groom room, giving lots of attention, and keeping routines consistent. I understand how important pets are to their families, and I’ll care for them with kindness and responsibility. Pet care is already part of my daily routine since I care for 5 cats of my own. I’m used to feeding schedules, cleaning litter boxes, playtime, giving attention, and making sure pets feel comfortable and cared for throughout the day. I have a flexible schedule and can provide regular check-ins, updates, and lots of love and patience for your cat while you’re away. I provide a calm, safe, and clean environment where pets can feel comfortable and stress-free. Along with caring for my 5 cats, I also care for my elderly dog who takes 2 medications daily, so I’m familiar with senior pet care, routines, and giving medications responsibly. I understand that every pet has different needs and personalities, and I take time to help them feel safe and comfortable at their own pace. I always make sure food, water, litter boxes, and living spaces stay clean and well maintained, and I’ll treat your pets with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own.
About: I am a huge animal person, and I love spending time with any and all dogs, even if that means picking up their poop. I have dogsat and boarded a hyper little cavapoo for nearly two years now, I took care of my own two cockapoos for nine years, and I would be honored to watch your dog for as long as you need. I work remotely from home with very flexible hours, so I can dedicate as much time as your dog needs to taking care of them, any day of the week. I can crate your dog, snuggle them through the night, or anything in between. Just tell me what their routine is, and I can accommodate it.
About: What sets me apart is my ability to balance structured care with plenty of love and playtime. I make sure every pet feels safe, happy, and understood, whether that means high-energy walks for active dogs or cozy snuggles for older ones. Pet parents can count on me to be reliable, communicative, and genuinely caring, treating every pet as if they were my own. Currently I'm fully flexible for the foreseeable future ~ if not than my Wife os happy to accommodate/take over. Mon through to Sunday, any hours, just liase with me and I'll do my best to meet your needs. I am on the ground floor of an apartment complex situated near Greenhithe Station/Ingress Park. An outdoor sealed off balcony, safe for Dogs & I would say Cat's but they have no boundaries 😂 With plenty of outdoor and walking space.
“Magda has been an absolute gem these few days while i have been away, making sure my cats are fed and watered and looked after, but she made me feel like she was genuinely caring for them during her visits with pictures and videos, my little Jasper even took a little nap on her arm! He looked so comfortable, a little quality time. And that makes me happier than anything, the boys were very clearly comfortable and happy with her company, and that means the world. Would absolutely recommend Magda to friends and I definitely would love her to take care of them again if i'm away. Thank you <3”

“Lena has been amazing, reliable and caring. I had no worries at all and she kept me informed with pictures. I would highly recommend for trusted, kind and outstanding care for your pet. Thank you!”
“I would highly recommend Sabrina is lovely and I would rebook her again. She sent me daily updates on my cat .she sent me photos and videos to let me know how my cat socks was getting on while I was away for a week. Thank you so much for looking after socks”

About: I love animals but since I can’t have them full time I compensate it by cat sitting for friend and neighbours. I don’t force an animal to anything and take time to for the cat/dog to get used to it and build my connection. I follow the owner instruction to a T and make sure the place is kept clean. I work full time therefore I won’t be able to accept it all the assignments but I do make it work so far with friends. I usually take care of the pets in their own home not to give them more stress. I tent to stay in their house and also keep an eye on the premises.
About: What sets me apart is my genuine passion for animals and my dedication to their well-being. I have basic knowledge of pet care and am comfortable handling both puppies and senior pets. My attention to detail ensures pets receive the best care, and I am committed to providing a safe, loving environment for them. I have looked after neighbours pets as he is elderly. Pet care fits well into my routine as I work remotely, allowing me flexibility to attend to pets throughout the day. Additionally, I have ample time on weekends to provide dedicated and attentive care. In my home, pets enjoy a spacious garden for play and exercise, plus nearby large open fields for walks. In a pet owner's home, I maintain their routines, ensuring comfort and familiarity. I provide regular feeding, exercise, and affection in both settings, prioritising each pet's needs and safety.

Needed my three cats be looked after while I was away for two weeks. Judith went over and beyond to make the process go smoothly. I felt comfortable every step of the way, and got regular updates with pictures so I had no worries and was able to relax when away. My cats really liked her and had no issues whatsoever. She is very trust worthy and would 100% ask Judith to look after my cats again.

Tasha was great looking after our two cats. She sent updates after each visit with photos and videos so we knew they were doing well. Tasha won round our shy cat Nora, who came out of her hiding spot for strokes. We'd definitely recommend Tasha and would book her again.

Magda has been amazing! She has kept us informed after each visit by leaving photos and detailed reports, which were so lovely to see whilst we were away and missing our kitties. She took such great care of our two cats and showed genuine interest in them. She spent time with them, playing with them and cuddling them not just feeding and cleaning litter trays. We are so grateful and will definitely be asking Magda to look after our girls again. Thank you Magda!

It was my first time using Rover and directly found a great cat sitter, Claudine was very lovely and our cat felt comfortable with her right away. Despite a slight mishap with her car, she still managed to look after the cat and keep track of her visits. Ruby was very well fed and looked after, definitely will be booking Claudine again.

We are delighted with how well our two cats were looked after whilst we were away for 10 days. We received daily photos and videos with a detailed written update of their welfare during the drop in visits. Thank you for putting our minds at rest 😊 We will definitely be returning customers.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
