Totally recommend Claire! My cavapoo is clearly delighted with the attention she gives him in his “pop in” visits, when we are stuck for time. Trustworthy and reliable! Have made several more bookings and hope to be able to fix up some holiday dates next year when Claire can do some home boarding too.

Luke was a new sitter for Sid and he was great. He did two drop-ins on the same time, was on time and kept me updated through the site report cards with photos. Will be more than happy to book Luke again.

About: I have experience caring for pets of all sizes and personalities, I've gained this from being very active in the past year on Trusted House Sitter receiving all 5 star reviews. I follow routines closely and prioritise safety at all times. Your pet’s comfort and happiness always come first. Growing up I've cared for larger breeds including German Shepherds and Labrador Retrievers along with several cats. Please note I do have a full-time job in Gravesend that I commute to between 8:30-5:30 during the weekdays. How does pet care fit into your daily or weekly routine? Currently, neither my partner or I live with any pets and we miss having a furry friend dearly. We have both grown up around dogs including German Shepherds and Labradors, we are both pet lovers and miss having the energy around the house. We are used to both energetic and more relaxed doggos. Please let us know what your pets love and a bit more about their personalities! In my home, pets are treated as part of the family and given plenty of individual attention. I keep routines consistent to help them feel settled and comfortable. When caring for pets in their own home, I stick closely to their usual schedule and surroundings. My goal is to minimise stress and keep your pets happy and relaxed.

Rosanna is great, she has a long experience with cats, but she also loves them and cared for my 18 years old boy with tenderness and real concern. Thank you Rosanna, I found Gioacchino as happy as if I had been there with him!

About: As well as having our own cats and dogs since myself and my partner were about 8 years old, in our adult lives we have house sat or looked after various family members and friends dogs and will continue to do so! I work full time, but from home on Wednesdays, so can happily take care of pets on this day, as well as every other weekend! Happy to have pets stay for full weekends too! We have plenty of space for pets inside and outside of our house, including a conservatory and fenced garden. I’m also happy to go to pet owners houses to feed cats and other animals on preferred days if needed.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, and my family currently has two Pomeranians, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your pet. I also have hands-on experience providing dog boarding and sitting services, which has given me a strong understanding of different temperaments and care needs. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or simply providing calm, cosy companionship, I always make sure each dog feels safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I treat every dog as if they were my own. I live in a house with a large garden, surrounded by wooded areas and plenty of great walking routes, so your dog will have lots of space to explore and enjoy. Our two family dogs live separately with my sister in an annexe, so if your dog prefers their own space or needs to be away from other dogs, I can easily accommodate that. I’m also happy to care for reactive dogs and will always take the time to understand your dog’s specific needs and routines to ensure they feel comfortable and secure. As a part-time worker, I’m available evenings Monday through Wednesday, and all day Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, giving me plenty of time to dedicate to your dog. In my home or yours, safety and trust are my top priorities. When caring for pets in my home, I ensure a pet-friendly environment with plenty of space to play, cozy spots to rest, and constant supervision. I make sure all areas are secure to prevent any escapes or accidents. When I visit your home, I follow your routine, maintain a familiar environment for your pet, and ensure they are comfortable and safe. Whether it's checking on food, providing medication, or simply offering companionship, I always take extra steps to create a calm and secure atmosphere. Your pet’s well-being is always my focus!

About: I’m Liana the heart behind Pooch on the Mooch! Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and after losing my own beloved dog, I knew I wanted to turn that love into something meaningful. Pooch on the Mooch was created for busy humans who want their dogs to live happy, tail wagging lives even when life gets busy. Whether it’s taking them on a walk, spending some time with them, or a bit of training, I’m here to give your dog the care, attention, and companionship they deserve. Think of me as their second-best friend (after you, of course!) I’ve recently completed a canine first aid course, as well as a dog behaviour course, so you can feel confident that your pup is in safe and knowledgeable hands. I’m also fully insured, giving you extra peace of mind while they’re in my care. I am currently working from home meaning I am available most days; Don't hesitate to contact me and I am sure that we can talk about what would be suitable for both parties. Your pet’s wellbeing is always my top priority. I do everything I can to make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and happy. In your home, I follow your pet’s usual routines as closely as possible — from feeding times and walk schedules to favourite toys and cosy spots. This will ensure that they feel secure and comfortable while you’re away. Building trust is at the heart of what I do, so I always approach every pet with patience, kindness, and respect for their individual needs and personalities.

About: What sets me apart is my ability to balance structured care with plenty of love and playtime. I make sure every pet feels safe, happy, and understood, whether that means high-energy walks for active dogs or cozy snuggles for older ones. Pet parents can count on me to be reliable, communicative, and genuinely caring, treating every pet as if they were my own. Currently I'm fully flexible for the foreseeable future ~ if not than my Wife os happy to accommodate/take over. Mon through to Sunday, any hours, just liase with me and I'll do my best to meet your needs. I am on the ground floor of an apartment complex situated near Greenhithe Station/Ingress Park. About: I grew up with dogs as much as I did with cats. My first experience was when I was two years old and visiting my home country. There I interacted with and befriended my family’s guard dogs. I kept this up through all my visits to my country as well as during my childhood in the UK. I spent a good chunk of my primary and secondary school days playing with the neighbours’ dogs and also got to look after two of the puppies while the neighbours were away. I then took on work experience at a vet where I got to see dogs every day and interact with them as a healthcare provider as well as a friend. I got to know dogs as patients and companions and learned a lot about their physiology, body language and communication quirks. I have always loved dogs and cats. In my domiciliary care experience, I have found myself taking care of patients and their pets. This has increased my experience and confidence in working with dogs. I have never met a dog that didn’t like me. I am a medical student with days on and off campus. Most of my time is spent at home, studying. I’m a homebody and rarely go out aside from school and grocery shopping. I can board your pet or visit your home to check on them. I am also available for house sitting if there is ample parking and I am close to my university campus. I live in a large house with lots of great hiding spots and high points. I also have a large fenced garden for your cat to play and bask in. There are several secure buildings on my property in case your cat requires a smaller, darker or lower foot traffic area. My cats live in the main house but are very chill and friendly. However quarantine is possible if they don’t get along with your furry friend. When it comes to your own home, I have experience in domiciliary care and so I am accustomed to working in people’s houses whilst respecting their space. I can visit your felines and ensure they are fed, watered and that their litter tray is clean. I can also provide them with company for a while and sit outside with them if they would like to get some sun. I will always leave the place as I found it and may also do some light cleaning if I find a mess.

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with a natural bond—especially with dogs. I’ve always been the kind of person animals feel safe around, and I truly believe they can sense when someone cares deeply for them. I’m calm, patient, and deeply respectful of each pet’s unique personality and needs. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of caring for a wide range of dogs. During my university days, I regularly house-sat and looked after a family of four blue Staffies and their puppies. I handled everything from feeding and playtime to cleaning kennels and providing companionship. I made sure the home stayed peaceful and the dogs felt safe and loved while their owners were away. Later, during the COVID lockdowns, I spent over a year in Egypt, where I took in a Dutch Shepherd who had been neglected. She was anxious and untrained, but with time, structure, and lots of patience, I helped her gain confidence, learn basic commands, wait calmly for her food, and walk gently on a leash. Eventually, she found a wonderful forever home, and seeing her transformation was an incredibly rewarding experience. Whether I’m caring for a high-energy puppy or an older rescue in need of extra TLC, I bring the same level of compassion, reliability, and dedication to every animal I meet. I treat every pet as if they were my own—with love, respect, and gentle guidance. I am avalible mostly throughout the weekdays and weekends apart from Tuesdays . I am open to pet sittting and walks/ feeding/ play if needs be . I always looking for threats risk that can harm the pet , be it little items they prone to picking up with their mouth . This also etends to remove possible accdient be it items that can be knocked over . Until i get to know a dog i very vilugant ensuring it safety but so respectful of the pet owners home as it if was my own

Charlotte went above and beyond for our fur babies. She was so professional taking notes at the beginning for how our cats are cared for. We arrived back from holiday to the house being immaculate. We even ran out of items that Charlotte brought her own of to care for the babies. An amazing sitter and can’t recommend her enough!

There are 7,336 sitters on Rover for Cat Sitting in Gravesham. About 90% of Gravesham sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter trays. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialisation or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:

  • 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 92% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
