About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, and my family currently has two Pomeranians, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your pet. I also have hands-on experience providing dog boarding and sitting services, which has given me a strong understanding of different temperaments and care needs. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or simply providing calm, cosy companionship, I always make sure each dog feels safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I treat every dog as if they were my own. I live in a house with a large garden, surrounded by wooded areas and plenty of great walking routes, so your dog will have lots of space to explore and enjoy. Our two family dogs live separately with my sister in an annexe, so if your dog prefers their own space or needs to be away from other dogs, I can easily accommodate that. I’m also happy to care for reactive dogs and will always take the time to understand your dog’s specific needs and routines to ensure they feel comfortable and secure. As a part-time worker, I’m available evenings Monday through Wednesday, and all day Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, giving me plenty of time to dedicate to your dog. In my home or yours, safety and trust are my top priorities. When caring for pets in my home, I ensure a pet-friendly environment with plenty of space to play, cozy spots to rest, and constant supervision. I make sure all areas are secure to prevent any escapes or accidents. When I visit your home, I follow your routine, maintain a familiar environment for your pet, and ensure they are comfortable and safe. Whether it's checking on food, providing medication, or simply offering companionship, I always take extra steps to create a calm and secure atmosphere. Your pet’s well-being is always my focus!
“First time using rover so was a bit uncertain. But after meeting Erin before finalizing the booking, it put my kind at ease, Erin was lovely and professional. Easy to talk to. I thought I would come home to some miserable cats for leaving them. But I can back to two happy cats with o care in the world, so I know they was well looked after. Thank you Erin will be using again”

“Totally recommend Claire! My cavapoo is clearly delighted with the attention she gives him in his “pop in” visits, when we are stuck for time. Trustworthy and reliable! Have made several more bookings and hope to be able to fix up some holiday dates next year when Claire can do some home boarding too.”

“Rosanna is great, she has a long experience with cats, but she also loves them and cared for my 18 years old boy with tenderness and real concern. Thank you Rosanna, I found Gioacchino as happy as if I had been there with him! ”

“Charlotte went above and beyond for our fur babies. She was so professional taking notes at the beginning for how our cats are cared for. We arrived back from holiday to the house being immaculate. We even ran out of items that Charlotte brought her own of to care for the babies. An amazing sitter and can’t recommend her enough! ”
About: I have worked alongside animals since 2020. This was while working at an aquatics centre/pet shop, I worked with aquatic animals, mammals and reptiles. And more recently I have worked as a pet sitter/dog walker/trainer in Medway. I also have a diploma in Animal Management covering husbandry, welfare, heath, behaviour and many other course components. This is my full time job, I also run my own small company doing the same thing alongside rover. So my schedule is entirely decided by client bookings on and off of rover :) I will arrive prior to you leaving to provide you peace of mind and to have you run me through anything you may think off to give you the best enthusiasm about my stay with your fur baby. I will keep in contact with you through the time period in which I will be staying in your home. Morning and evening check ins detailing the day and anything I think you may like to know. Aswell as plenty of pictures to keep your mind at ease. I will happily complete a home visit prior to your booking so you and your animals can meet me prior.
About: I grew up with dogs as much as I did with cats. My first experience was when I was two years old and visiting my home country. There I interacted with and befriended my family’s guard dogs. I kept this up through all my visits to my country as well as during my childhood in the UK. I spent a good chunk of my primary and secondary school days playing with the neighbours’ dogs and also got to look after two of the puppies while the neighbours were away. I then took on work experience at a vet where I got to see dogs every day and interact with them as a healthcare provider as well as a friend. I got to know dogs as patients and companions and learned a lot about their physiology, body language and communication quirks. I have always loved dogs and cats. In my domiciliary care experience, I have found myself taking care of patients and their pets. This has increased my experience and confidence in working with dogs. I have never met a dog that didn’t like me. I am a medical student with days on and off campus. Most of my time is spent at home, studying. I’m a homebody and rarely go out aside from school and grocery shopping. I can board your pet or visit your home to check on them. I am also available for house sitting if there is ample parking and I am close to my university campus. I live in a large house with lots of great hiding spots and high points. I also have a large fenced garden for your cat to play and bask in. There are several secure buildings on my property in case your cat requires a smaller, darker or lower foot traffic area. My cats live in the main house but are very chill and friendly. However quarantine is possible if they don’t get along with your furry friend. When it comes to your own home, I have experience in domiciliary care and so I am accustomed to working in people’s houses whilst respecting their space. I can visit your felines and ensure they are fed, watered and that their litter tray is clean. I can also provide them with company for a while and sit outside with them if they would like to get some sun. I will always leave the place as I found it and may also do some light cleaning if I find a mess.
The median cost per Visit for pet sitting in Gravesham is £13

Samatha looked after our 3 cats while we were on holiday. She gave us notice of when she was going to arrive and then many pictures and some videos as well to keep us updated, all 3 fed and kept happy and clean. We didn’t have a single worry while away, we got to enjoy our holiday knowing they were being looked after.

Erin was absolutely fabulous at looking after our 3 cats. She took care in what she did and made sure they were well looked after. Her communication was great and I loved the cute pictures she shared after each of her visits. Thank you so much and would recommend her to anyone!

jade was very professional came down and introduced herself to me and my two little dogs. I was away for 14 days when I come home my dogs were happy to see me. I think jade had made a friend for life as when I came home. My dogs were still looking at the door and sleeping by the door, waiting for jade to appear. I couldn’t have been more happier with what jade did for my dogs. She played with them in their home feed them bought them and even cleaned up after them as one of my dogs is a very old dog. My Holly looks at people that come through the door cause I have carers, but thinks that some of my carers are there for her but really she’s looking for jade. She looks at me with a sad face as if to ask. When are you going away again? I liked my holiday with jade and I’d like to see jade again. She gives me a friendly bark and lets me know that I’m talking about Jade to her the night I got home my dog slept by the front door, looking for jade to see if she was going to do her food and water and then was surprised when I did the food and water and got the small bowl that jade had left. Bought it to me to ask me to play with her as if she thought jade was coming back excellent with animals and I hope that she can look after mine again it puts my mind at ease, knowing that they’re safe and have good company thank you very much jade for everything you did for my dogs and the time that you spent with them I think it meant the world to them dee holly and angel
I recently had the pleasure of having Courtney look after my furbabies, and I cannot recommend her highly enough! From the moment we met, it was clear that Courtney has a special connection with animals. She was extremely loving, attentive, and intuitive, ensuring that my boys felt comfortable and secure in her care. Before her stay, we had a meet-and-greet where she took the time to introduce herself to my pets, and it was evident that she understood their needs perfectly. Courtney followed all my instructions to a T, which gave me peace of mind knowing my furbabies were in safe hands. One of the highlights was receiving picture updates of them playing happily with Courtney. It warmed my heart to see them enjoying their time together. Additionally, I was pleasantly surprised when I noticed that she washed their bowls after dinner—a thoughtful touch that I never expected, but it truly showcased her attentiveness. Courtney is not only professional but also genuinely caring. I would go as far as to say she’s an animal whisperer! If you're looking for someone to care for your pets with love and dedication, look no further than Courtney. I will definitely be reaching out to her again in the future!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
