“First time, weekend boarding, booking with Lea and Lucas for our Cocker Spaniel, Freddy. We arranged for a ‘ meet and greet’ the week before and I was immediately put at easy with their caring manor, interest in Freddy’s welfare and how they could makes Freddy’s stay a good one. Freddy’s stay went very well and we received many detailed updates and pictures of Freddy looking comfortable, happy and loved, which was so comforting for us. It made our time away relaxing knowing that he was being really well cared for and was happy. Freddy’s medication and food was given as instructed and he was given plenty of comfort breaks in their garden- they always put Freddy’s needs first. The weather was extremely hot and Lea and Lucas provided everything needed to keep Freddy cool- A cooling mat, fans and shade, were made available for Freddy, with walks given in the cool mornings and evenings making sure Freddy was cool and comfortable. I was extremely impressed with Lea’s and Lucas excellent care and attention to Freddy’s welfare and would 100% recommend them. We would definitely like to use them again for any future occasions - thank you Lea and Lucas for your excellent care, Freddy, Mark and I were very happy! 😊”

Even when our very naughty cat decided to give us all a fright by doing a disappearing act for a few days while we were away. Jude still kept in contact and did everything within her power to try and find him... she went above and beyond and treated Monkey as well as if he were her own. Matt visited us beforehand to get to know both us and our cat, Bertie, which was great and noted down anything that Bertie might need. During the cat-sitting, Matt kept us up to date with how Bertie was getting on, including sending pictures and videos which was great to see. Bertie is a shy cat but was clearly very comfortable around Matt, which is a testament in itself! Kirsten was happy to visit us in advance of the stay so that she could meet the cats and we could show her where everything was. About: I've looked after friends and neighbours dogs for over 15 years now as well as looking after my own dogs, I'm a qualified dog walker and currently training to be a dog groomer and have assisted in many puppy training classes. We maintain a clean and organized boarding area to promote animal wellbeing in our home. I'm currently working part-time, so l'll have plenty of time to play with your pups! My partner works shift work so one of us will normally be around all the time. I'm available for boarding and dog walks I have a hugh fenced yard that is secure for toilet brakes and stretching legs. We ensure windows downstairs are closed as we know how athletic some of the doggies can be! We will have the dog with us as much as possible while they settle in as we understand new environments can be a bit scary. It would help if they had their own toys/blanket or bed with them to help them to relax more. At night they will stay downstairs alome but we have a doggy cam to check on them. Your dog will be in the best hands.

Devon took Frank on several walks throughout each day and was very thoughtful about adapting the routine when the weather was hotter, making sure walks and activities avoided the warmest parts of the day. About: I have my own 5 year old rescue dog Heidi! She loves nothing more than a playmate and has great doggy social skills. As a dog owner myself I know all the skills required to look after one especially nervous dogs. If you have a rescue or nervous dog yourself then I have a lot of experience dealing with those behaviours. I know the local woods very well as we walk there everyday. My dog is small to medium sized but I grew up with golden retrievers so have experience with larger dogs also. I will be at home all day so your dog will not be left alone. I am more than happy to help with training for your puppies! They will be very comfortable as they are allowed on furniture. I’m working from home so can provide company for dogs with a lunchtime walk at my local woodland. I then let the dogs unwind with a chew or lickimat. I have one pet who gets on very well with other dogs. She enjoys company and will happily play. However, she also enjoys her rest which I think is important for our pups! So I will make sure they have down time.
