“Marcela was great with Grayson! She kept me updated throughout the day with photos and videos. He had a great time and it was lovely to see how happy and comfortable he was with her. I felt completely reassured knowing he was being well looked after. I would definitely recommend Marcela and would happily use her again”

“She took a great care of my baby Pepper! I was worried as Pepper is having diarrhea with a trace of blood, She kindly took Pepper in and gave the best care! She gave Pepper a bum wipe and provided me a detailed explanation on how his poop was like, which was a great help, and even set the house for Pepper when she dropped Pepper at my flat! Thanks to her Pepper had a fan on and plenty of water while waiting for me to come back. Pepper looked so happy and energetic when I got home, I can only assume that he had the best day at her place❣️”

“I am very pleased with the service Giulia & her partner provided. We have found it so hard to find people who we trust and are nearby to leave teddy with. You guys have such a warm lovely vibe and teddy had a lovely day! He was knocked out when he got home wagging his tail in his sleep he was probably dreaming about his day 🥹 I was able to relax fully and really appreciated the updates!”

“Best dog sitter I have ever booked 🙌🏾 Chaos and I are both obsessed with Son and her lovely dog Pepper 😍 The level of attention, care and genuine love she showed was outstanding! I received regular updates and photos which gave me complete peace of mind. She would even leave little gifts in his bag which was such a thoughtful touch 🥹 Chaos came home happy, relaxed and clearly very well looked after ❤️ I will without a doubt book again next week and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Jeanett was a great sitter, she kept us updated throughout with pictures and videos, and her dog Argos is calm and friendly and a good influence on our puppy. Will definitely be booking Jeanett again.”

About: My husband and I both owned dogs back at our home country respectively, and we both missed them very dearly. We had our dogs since they were 2 weeks old, my husband is great at training puppies and I am organized in keeping the hygiene of the pets. I am a stay at home wife, which allows me to have plenty of time to keep the pets well accompanied and taken care of. It's an apartment with just my husband and I, we do not have kids around nor other pets here so the pets will not face any conflicts and have plenty of space.
“First time having anyone look after my dog and it went great. Karen put me at ease by sending me photos regularly and frank looked happy and relaxed when I picked him up. Defiantly will be rebooking. Thank you again”

“Stuart is highly communicative and takes lots of photos/videos; something I really appreciate when i’m at work and need to leave her. He takes care to consider her individual needs and preferences (right down to frozen vs regular yogurt as a snack!) and I feel happy leaving her with him.”

- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
