About: I'm an active, outdoorsy person who genuinely loves being around dogs. I take your dog's exercise seriously: proper walks, real time outside, and plenty of stimulation. My hands-on experience comes from regularly walking and caring for two very different dogs — a Staffordshire Bulldog and a French Bulldog. I’m currently working from home with good flexibility. I can work around the schedule for helping out. Weekends should be free in the day too. My flat is a cosy, well-kept one-bedroom on an upper floor — no balcony or outdoor space, but we’re just a 5-minute walk from a park, so dogs get outside plenty. There are a few flights of stairs to get up to the flat, which is worth knowing for smaller or older dogs.

“Joanne was able to care for our Loki at short notice, Loki was very comfortable once he settled down from the excitement of have Joanne’s dog as a friend to play with, he was very relaxed and happy when we collected him later that day. Very happy with how Joanne looked after Loki. Will definitely be looking to book up with Joanne again. Thanks a million Joanne.”

About: I have lived in the countryside until 20 years old and always had animals around me. When I moved to London I really missed having them around and 5 years ago I finally got a dog together with my wife , our labrador Ollie . He is very smart and loves us and our daughter Maya who is 2 years old . I will take good care of your pet I take my dog out in the morning and evening , and can do the same for your dog . If you have different schedule for your pet , I can adapt and organise more walks . I play ball with them and love running around in the park . I have a fenced garden and a friendly labrador , they will play and spend time together. My dog loves toys and the ball and we play a lot when we go out for walks

“I genuinely can’t thank Chanise and Jake enough for how amazing they were with Bella. ❤️ My booking was incredibly last minute, but they were so kind and accommodating and made arrangements to be available for her. Bella has never been away from me unless she’s been with family, so I was honestly so, so nervous leaving her. I think anyone who has a dog will understand just how difficult it can be to leave your fur baby with someone new, especially for the first time. 🥹 From the moment I spoke with Chanise for the first time to picking up Bella, the communication was absolutely amazing. The regular updates, pictures and messages throughout the day meant more to me than they probably realise. Seeing Bella looking happy, comfortable and settled instantly put my mind at ease. Being sent pictures of her was definitely the highlight of my day because, if I’m honest, I’d been worrying about her constantly! ❤️ Bella made herself right at home almost immediately, and I truly believe that’s because of how gentle, loving and welcoming Chanise and Jake were with her. They made her feel so comfortable and treated her as though she was one of their own. They were also so flexible and happy to make their home feel like Bella’s home too, keeping things as familiar as possible for her — even letting her enjoy her favourite spot on the sofa! 🐶🥰 This was our first time with them, but I can say with complete confidence that it definitely won’t be our last. I left Bella with them feeling nervous, but I picked her up feeling so grateful and reassured knowing she had been so well cared for. Bella is home now, curled up fast asleep in my lap, and I think that says absolutely everything about the day she’s had. 🥹❤️ A tired and happy dog is the best review of all! Thank you both so much for taking such wonderful care of my girl and for giving me the reassurance I needed. It’s such a relief to find people you can genuinely trust with someone who means so much to you. 100% recommend Chanise and Jake to anyone looking for loving, reliable and genuinely caring doggy care. Bella has definitely found her second home! ❤️🐾”

“Gabriella was absolutely lovely with our dog Enzo. She kept us updated throughout the day with sweet messages and photos - he looked like he was having a blast. Enzo came home happy, tired and clearly well cared for. We’ll definitely be booking with her again!”

“Luna spent the day with Diana and she had a fantastic stay. I picked Luna up happy she was well exercised and I was kept up to date with lots of pictures throughout the day and she made another furry friend. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for dog sitting.”

About: I grew up in a family and we always had dogs as pets and have always loved every kind dog. I also have always looked after my friends dogs when needed and treated them like it was my own dog. In recent years I have assisted a family member who’s looks after dogs on a day care and boarding basis, in doing so I have gained experience of looking after all types of dogs I attend night college 1/2 a week at present and therefore I’m available most days and weekends to look after a dog of any kind I have my very own large apartment and am able to accommodate a dog easily and I’m surrounded by open spaces to walk the dog insuring any exercise and toilet needs are met.
“Leonor was so friendly and kind and really made Buster feel at home. He had the best day with her and she kept me updated with lovely photos through the day. 100% would rebook!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs regularly for the past 3 years, mostly looking after two senior dogs for one friend and a young puppy for another. This has given me experience with different temperaments, energy levels, and routines, from gentle senior care to playful puppy stages. From age 15 I cared for dogs within my family, supporting with walks, feeding, and keeping them settled while owners were away. In addition, I‘ve cared for my family kitten, and as an indoor cat, he required consistent feeding, litter care, playtime, and a calm presence, something I’m very comfortable providing. Working from home, enables me to give consistent attention throughout the day and always provide updates and photos for peace of mind. Every dog or cat in my care is treated with patience, attentiveness, and love. I work from home, which allows me to provide consistent care, supervision, companionship and regular walks or drop-ins throughout the day. I’m flexible during weekdays and available most weekends, making it easy to fit pet care naturally into my routine. When caring for dogs or cats in their own home, I prioritise maintaining their usual routine so they feel comfortable and secure. I carefully follow feeding schedules, walking routines, and any specific instructions provided. I ensure doors and gates are always secured, keep environments tidy and safe. If crate training is part of their routine, I’m comfortable supporting that in a gentle and positive way. My focus is always on providing a safe, consistent, and loving environment while you’re away.
“Jeanett was a great sitter, she kept us updated throughout with pictures and videos, and her dog Argos is calm and friendly and a good influence on our puppy. Will definitely be booking Jeanett again.”

“Marcela was great with Grayson! She kept me updated throughout the day with photos and videos. He had a great time and it was lovely to see how happy and comfortable he was with her. I felt completely reassured knowing he was being well looked after. I would definitely recommend Marcela and would happily use her again”

“My pup is a mummy's boy and can make a fuss when I leave, but Madalina is a so patient and is able to distracts him that he soon stops fussing. Sonney wagging tail is a true indicator that he is content in Madalina company and enjoys his time with her :-)”

“Lovely doggy daycare and very friendly couple who obviously love the dogs they care for. Provided lots of photos and updates, and a happy and tired puppy returned to me- proof of a good day!”

“She took a great care of my baby Pepper! I was worried as Pepper is having diarrhea with a trace of blood, She kindly took Pepper in and gave the best care! She gave Pepper a bum wipe and provided me a detailed explanation on how his poop was like, which was a great help, and even set the house for Pepper when she dropped Pepper at my flat! Thanks to her Pepper had a fan on and plenty of water while waiting for me to come back. Pepper looked so happy and energetic when I got home, I can only assume that he had the best day at her place❣️”

Marcela is such a sweet person and genuinely loves dogs. She has a beautiful apartment and there is a lovely park nearby. Hestia was very happy on her first day, and Marcela sent us photos of their walk and of Hestia playing with a new toy that Marcela gave her. Although Hestia is generally nervous in a new environment, she spent much of the time sleeping with her tummy up, which shows how comfortable and relaxed she felt. She seemed very happy and calm when she got home. We will definitely be booking longer stays in the future, and I would have no hesitation in recommending Marcela.
Ronnie and her family are truly wonderful people! Our Charlie absolutely loves spending time with Ronnie and always comes home happy and relaxed. We receive plenty of adorable photos and videos every day, which really reassures us that he’s having the best time and is well looked after. If you’re searching for a safe, loving, and trustworthy place for your pet, we couldn’t recommend Ronnie more highly!

- Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions

- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
