“Tia was wonderful with our cocker spaniels Alfie and Archie. She came to our house a couple of times before hand and we went on several walks together so she could get to know them both. Our eldest dog gets anxious with any change, but he was absolutely fine, both dogs loved Tia. We received fantastic photo's and updates on how things were going which was very reassuring as we had never left our dogs before. Tia is reliable and professional and we wouldn't hesitate in recommending her, a true animal lover. Will definitely be booking again.”

About: I've cared for dogs all my life and have been looking after friends', neighbours' and family pets since I was 10 years old. I now run my own professional dog walking and pet care business, providing calm, reliable one-to-one care tailored to each dog's individual needs. I have experience with puppies, senior dogs and reactive dogs, and I always take the time to understand each pet's routine and personality. My priority is making every dog feel safe, happy and loved while keeping owners updated with regular photos and messages. Pet care is my full-time business, so I can give your pet the time and attention they deserve. I'm available on weekdays, weekends and for overnight stays, with flexible scheduling wherever possible. I keep my diary carefully organised so I can provide reliable, consistent care and ensure every pet receives the attention, exercise and companionship they need. Your pet's safety and wellbeing are always my highest priority. I have a secure fenced garden where dogs can enjoy supervised time outdoors if appropriate. I take the time to understand each pet's routine, personality and any special requirements, and I always follow owners' instructions carefully. I provide regular photo and message updates, so you can relax knowing your pet is safe, happy and receiving plenty of love, care and attention.

“Lois was great with our dog, Woody. She arrived promptly and quickly put our minds at ease as she clearly has a huge passion for dogs. We were a bit late returning but it was no bother for Lois. Woody loved his time with Lois and we will most certainly be using her again . Highly recommended.”

“It was the first time we’d used a house-sitting dog carer. Karolina immediately put everyone at ease- she’s very warm and friendly - our two spaniels loved her straight away. Karolina is very professional and it was reassuring to go away for the weekend knowing that the dogs and our elderly cat were in good hands. It was lovely to receive some photos of and a little update. It was a great experience and we would definitely use Karolina’s services again. Highly recommend !”

About: I have grown up with dogs around me, from Spaniels, Cockapoo's and Staffies and always love having a dog around for company. I have looked after many families and friends' dogs over the last few years, and would love to make it a more regular thing. You can trust that I will take the very best care of your dog day and night, and happy to share heaps of pictures and videos throughout the day, so you can relax knowing they are having a great time. I am a working professional currently working in the office maximum. 3 days per week, one of which is usually a Monday. I am also generally home on the weekends, so can be fully flexible to dog walk or sit. I live in a large two bedroom first floor apartment, in a gated complex with gardens and whilst I may not have private outdoor space, I am an active person with a goal to achieve 10,000 steps each day. Whether that is setting me up for the day with a coffee walk, a lunchtime walk to take a break from my desk or an evening walk to unwind... I like to get outdoors and in the fresh air as much as your dog does! Living in Sawbridgeworth, I am spoilt for choice with walks around Pishiobury Park, nearby fields or a stroll along the river, so your dog will not be far from a good run and play on the grass. I live in a secure apartment, with several of my neighbours having dogs so it is a dog friendly building. When I work from home your dog won't ever be left for an extended period and if I have plans, I will be sure to check in advance that you are comfortable for a couple of hours. I prefer to take only one dog at a time, unless they are from the same family, and happy for your dog to roam freely in the apartment so they feel comfortable.
About: I have had dogs in my family since the age of 13. We had a Briard, Teddy for many years who was an huge dog and was loved very much! My partner has also had dogs in his family since the age of 10 and his family currently have an adorable Shei Tzu called Cookie. We are both active people who go on a walk at least once a day so we would love to assist in taking pressure off of you to walk your dog. We also have already been helping to dog sit for our friends and family when they go on holiday. Your pet will be staying with myself and my boyfriend Charlie. We stay in most weekends (will just need notice). We both work from home in the week and one of us are always home every day of the week. As mentioned we are both active people and walk everyday so would fit in with our schedules. We have a fenced garden which can be used. We have lots of downstairs space with a living room, dining room and kitchen. We can use a crate if needed.
About: My neighbours have always relied on me feeding their cats since I was little. In recent years my friends have got their own dogs and I am the number one go too for dog sitting. 5 friends and my auntie always ask me first before anyone else and hope I’m not already dog or cat sitting I work from home full time so can be very flexible. I finish at 3pm for the day. I can be home all day to give your pet love and attention. I am a trustworthy person and very neat and tidy. I respect another person personal space and would treat it how I would my own!
“We cannot rate Katie highly enough, and feel so lucky that we found her on Rover. Katie spent 8 nights/days staying at our home to look after our dog, Belle. Katie is so kind and caring and just has a very special way with animals, (she also cared brilliantly for our axolotls, which can be tricky little things to look after). Belle instantly took to Katie, and from the photos, video clips and updates that Katie sent we could see that Belle had the best week! Katie gave her so much love and time, and took her on wonderful days out - we had absolute peace of mind at how well Belle was being cared for. We are already looking to rebook Katie for next years holiday. Thank you so much Katie! Also Katie looked after our home and everything was perfect on our return.”

“Chelsea was absolutely amazing, kept me informed throughout my entire holiday, came back to happy cats and clean house. She also administered meds twice a day without any issues. Highly recommended and I will definitely book Chelsea again from now on when I travel. Thank you Chelsea Xx”

About: I have a deep love for animals, especially dogs or cats. Coming with a background of having dogs and cats of my own since I was little I was always growing up around them either in my family or friends. I used to take care of my grandmas dogs through out my childhood by taking it for walks, vet, feeding, bathing & playing. Since last few years I have been around different types of dogs whilst living in Mauritius I was taking care of stray dogs by building trust and providing care, such as food, affection and in some cases even play time, as their wellbeing was important to me. Giving the love, care and affection to dogs/ cats brings me and the animal a lot of joy and I love taking care and having a good relationship with them. I can teach them tricks from young. I am also working part time and I am an artist. Enjoying being outdoors by going for a jog or a walk as well as staying indoors and being cosy whilst watching a movie or reading a book on a rainy day. • friendly • open to learning • responsible • fast learner Because I work early mornings, I have a lot of free time during the day and throughout the week to focus on caring for pets. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, so pet care fits naturally into my routine and allows me to give them plenty of attention, care, and companionship. Every pet is different, with their own personality, habits, and comfort levels, so I always adjust my care to suit their individual needs. I follow the owner’s routine and expectations closely to help pets feel relaxed, safe, and comfortable in their own home. I genuinely enjoy building trust with animals and do my best to give them the same love, attention, and care they’re used to receiving from their owners.
“Jordan has looked after my 4 year old staffy on a number of occasions now and has developed a great bond with her. He always sends me updates throughout the day, and always leaves the house in a great state. I’d highly recommend Jordans services.”

It was clear that Sam felt comfortable and happy with her, she was fast asleep when Ellen left! Ellen is kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. I would 100% recommend her and would love to book her again. Thank you so much, Ellen! 🤍”

About: I am a 30-year-old solicitor, living in Stansted Mountfitchet. Available on some weekdays/weekday evenings and weekends. My partner and I would love a dog, but we can’t commit currently, so looking after others’ dogs is a great compromise! Happy to look after pets overnight at our home, also happy to walk dogs or call in to other’s homes to check in on their pets. I love animals! I used to own a black Labrador called Connie and she was very much part of the family. My fiancé and I have looked after lots of dogs and we love getting to know different breeds and personalities! I live in Stansted Mountfitchet and currently work in Chelmsford. I usually work from home twice a week (usually on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but it does vary). I am often available on the weekends and happy to pet-sit on weekday evenings too and the days that I work from home. I have a two-bed home, plenty of space for an animal, and a fenced garden. Plenty of countryside walks near me too! I have a car and am happy to travel with pets too for a change of scenery.

Amelia was great looking after my two dachshunds. One of which is nervous around new people, but Amelia was patient and too great care of her. Great communication, no issues at all and she took great care of the house whilst we were away too. Wouldn't hesitate to book again!
