About: I had my Jack Russell for 16 wonderful years and I want to give the same care to other pets, especially as we have just lost him through old age. I also have a female, friendly Shih Tzu named Paris, who is very sociable with other dogs and is also comfortable around cats, as she has lived alongside my two tabby cats. My cats are generally independent and often spend time outdoors in the neighbourhood or relaxing in their own space indoors, so visiting pets are able to have a calm and low-stress environment. I always ensure any pets in my care are introduced slowly and safely where needed, and I prioritise their comfort and wellbeing at all times.

Katie is so kind and caring and just has a very special way with animals, (she also cared brilliantly for our axolotls, which can be tricky little things to look after). Belle instantly took to Katie, and from the photos, video clips and updates that Katie sent we could see that Belle had the best week! Katie gave her so much love and time, and took her on wonderful days out - we had absolute peace of mind at how well Belle was being cared for. I have a lot of experience with dogs, having been a dog walker for over 5 years. I also have my dog first aid certificate. I love dogs and have always had rescue dogs. One from Texas and now a rescue from Romania. They bring their own challenges as they're nervous. So if you do have a nervous or reactive dog I do understand their needs. I have good availability and would be able to do most times. Morning afternoon and evenings are fine. So if you need someone to fill in last minute I'd be happy to as I know the stress myself of leaving my dog alone. I've recently looked after an elderly cat and 3 dogs whilst their owners were away on holiday. I really appreciate how they're a member of the family so provided constant updates and photos.

About: We are one year on in our Rover journey with many 5* reviews. We have met some lovely people with their lovely pooches, and now have many regulars coming to stay. We have both had our own dogs since we were children and currently have a very healthy, and happy 5yr old cockapoo, called Molly who loves the company of our guests. We walk the dogs daily when we are doing school runs, and we both work from home so also welcome a break from work to exercise and play with them in our lunch breaks. We live next to Lake meadows in Billericay so this is generally where we explore with the pooches but if they are with us over a weekend, or for a longer period of time we tend to go further afield. . Our children provide a real comfort and source of entertainment for our doggy guest with many of their owners bringing presents for giving them so much love and affection during their time away from home. We have a secure fenced garden and live in a quiet cul-de-sac with no busy roads and a robust system when answering the door to ensure no pooches escape! We have cameras and security in place for the odd occasion we are all out of the house. We have a dog friendly car with the expected safety belts should we take the dogs on outings, drop off and pick up, or vet appointments if ever needed. Your beloved pooch will always be returned clean, brushed and smelling sweet after their stay with us.

For exercise and outdoor fun, I live next to a beautiful countryside field with a lake, perfect for safe, scenic walks. If your pup is very active, I’m a keen runner and happy to take them with me (with your okay and within their ability). My schedule is flexible. I work hybrid, so I can fit pet care around my home days and evenings when I’m in the office.
