“We were quite nervous about leaving Boo for the first time with a family we didn’t know however Vanessa was very reassuring. Vanessa spoke in a very calming way around Boo and Boo appeared comfortable straight away. I felt confident when leaving Boo with Vanessa and she sent me a lovely little video showing me Boo playing and having fun, which was lovely. About: Your pets comfort and safety will be my top priority. I have experience with a company providing holiday care, including experience with administering medicine and special diets. I currently work part time, I am available a during the week and at weekends and nights if needed. Also, I will be able to do some holidays. Any time I am walking a dog I will always keep them on the their lead. If they are used to sleeping in the bedroom then I will do the same as they will feel more comfortable and want them to feel at home.

I have grown up with dogs so love their company and having them in the house. I work full time, but would only look after dogs when I am working from home. He is great with all of the dogs in our family and at his own dog sitters, but unneutured males have been known to make him a bit unsettled. I work at home, so will be present with your dog all day. We will take my daughter to school and then go for a walk together. We’ll then have breakfast and rest, head out again at lunchtime and then again at dinner. We always go for a last little walk around the grounds just before bed. We have large grounds, with plenty of areas to sniff and explore. We do doggy things in the evenings and weekends, with country park walks, beach walks and dog park trips. We have a crate if your dog needs alone time and plenty of space and separate rooms. I am confident and happy administering medication and following diet plans where needed. I want your dog to feel as relaxed and happy as possible, so will tailor what we do to their needs and to align with their home schedule.

From 2019 when my family adopted our rescue dog Roy the patterdale terrier, he became my daily companion, especially while I was working from home and throughout the pandemic. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, as I am currently not working elsewhere and can dedicate my full time and attention to the pets I care for. This allows me to be very flexible and fully present. Because I am at home and available throughout the day, I can offer regular walks, feeding at preferred times, playtime and plenty of attention. I provide attentive, personalised care based on each pet's routine, needs and personality. Whether caring for pets in my home or in the owner's home, I aim to keep things as familiar and stress-free as possible. If your pet is crate trained and used to having their own crate, I'm more than happy to continue this routine and can provide space for it in my home. I kindly ask that you supply the crate so it feels familiar and comfortable for them. However, if your pet is accustomed to more relaxed arrangements, they are also welcome to enjoy cuddles on the sofa or sleep in bed, ensuring they feel comfortable, secure and at home. When caring for pets in an owner's home, I respect their property and maintain the pet's normal routine to minimise disruption and stress.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since the age of 10, from friends and families pets, to looking after my own for the last 10 years. I have a hybrid work schedule with flexible working hours so I’m frequently available to look after your furry friends during the week and on weekends :) I have a fenced back garden which offers a very safe space for your pawfect friends to run around if they want to, my house is open plan but cosy enough for them to feel safe and secure! We are a house where dogs are part of the family so the default will be that they can join us for a cuddle on the sofa & on the beds unless the tail waggers owners tell us any different!
About: I have had dogs in my life since I was 16. I’ve cared for puppies, through to very senior dogs my last 2 dogs being 17 and 14 years old. So am happy and experienced with all stages of a dog’s life. You can be confident in the knowledge that while your fur baby is with me, they will be treated as a member of the family. About: I moved to Brentwood 2 years ago with my partner from my family home, where I have cared for my family dog for over 18 years and continue to do on a regular basis. I now also have two 3 year old dogs of my own, pugs Nellie and Nala! I have cared for a variety of dogs via Rover since January 2024, and also for friends and family’s dogs over the years, of all sizes and ages. I work from home 3/5 days of the working week, with a fair amount of flexibility in my schedule. Because of all of this, I am able to care for your fur babies when I am home in the week. I am available for dog walks or drop-ins for your pets throughout the day in the week or on Saturdays if you’re in or around the Brentwood area. I drive and I am happy to have your pets in the car strapped in with a bed or blanket (or a cage if this is your preference and what they are used to) if required. For walks, my preference is to remain on a long lead regardless of if they have a good recall or not. About: I can train cats and dogs. My own cat will give you a high five, roll over, sit, jump over a stick and and do other tricks for food. I am currently retired. So I am very free and can look after your pet at an time. I maybe going on holiday and will add the dates for this in when I know them. About: During Covid I was at home 24/7 and looked after multiple dogs, 2 cocker spaniels at once, a French bulldog and a chow chow husky cross so I am used to all sizes and shapes!!
