2. Lynn H.
About: I am an animal lover of all kinds, and have taken care of many animals including dogs, large and small, for friends, family and local people - I love getting to know their personalities and their own little ways. I work from home, so I am fully available all day during the week and at weekends. My work schedule is very flexible, so I can tailor timing of dog walks to suit your pet etc. I have a large fenced back garden, with plenty of nooks and crannies for your pet to investigate. I also have a large open plan kitchen, dining room and lounge so there is plenty of room for your pet to stretch their legs indoors too.

3. Aled W.

“Highly recommend Aled, took my dog buzz from our house for a nice walk while we was out and returned back home and sent picture of buzz on his walk. Will for sure use again”

4. Kerry G.
About: I have taken care of an array of animals for many years be them my own, family and friends. I have in fact had cats, dogs and rabbits all of which I would call family and strived to give the best lives possible. I am comfortable discussing any specific requests that you may need and to fulfil them to the best of my ability as I know it can be a worry leaving your precious animal with another. My son and I love taking long walks so would love a furry companion to join us or to visit and give your pet that TLC whilst you are gone. I do work Monday Tuesday and Thursday however I can do drop ins on these days. I do have two cats who are indoors though this will be no issue as I am unfortunately not able to offer an at home service purely not to cause them any distress. Regarding caring for your pets whilst out or at home drop in service I will take the upmost care regarding the needs of your pet and respect your home as I would respect mine. I am very good at following a good list so any nervous pet mums/dads need not worry.

5. Harry P.

“We’re so pleased we found Harry via Rover. He was able to agree to a meet and greet and daily walks for a week at relatively short notice. Our dog seemed to love his walks and it gave us peace of mind knowing he was getting the extra exercise he needed with somebody we could trust. We’ll certainly be using Harry again when we need extra support.”

6. Casey S.
“Casey is amazing with animals, she has a variety of animals she cares for including reptiles, dogs (including a puppy) and a rabbit. She is very well spoken and very highly educated in all things animals. She is the perfect person for the job!”

About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. Dogs, like people, each have their own unique personalities, and I love getting to know them. That’s what makes dog sitting so special—no two dogs are ever the same! I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and breeds, ensuring they feel safe, happy, and loved while in my care. I currently attend university on Mondays and Tuesdays, but I’m available for dog sitting on all other days! I am in on most weekends too. I have a fully fenced garden and a spacious, open-plan kitchen, giving your furry friend plenty of room to relax and play. I also love running—so if your dog enjoys a good sprint and can keep up, they’re welcome to join me!

8. Georgia H.
“Oh where do I start!! I think Georgia loves dogs more than humans :) She cannot pass a dog without trying to stroke it, she just loves them so much. She regularly looks after our Staffordshire Bull Terrier, American Bully and greyhound and our friends Pugs and Cockapoo - she loves them all so much and they never want her to leave!! Georgia is reliable, considerate, honest and everything you need for someone to look after your precious doggies and property.”

About: I tailor each walk or stay to your dogs needs and requirements. I have a pug (Lola) who is 11 years old. She and I would love any friend to accompany us on walks or equally to play in the garden. If the walk is required for the dog alone I can also accommodate this but I will have Lola the pug in the house if it’s boarding. I love dog and have years of experience handling many breeds of dogs. Thsi will be a stress free experience for you a don you beloved pooch. I also love training all ages of dogs. Hope to hear from you soon! I am hybrid flexible working so am very flexible. Wednesday I tend to be in the office so this is the one day I may not be able to futilely but ask anyway! I have a fenced garden and short walk to a woodland and park. I have a very friendly happy 11years old pug who would appreciate some canine company. I see dogs like children so once there paws are clean they are welcome to snuggle on the sofa with me. Upstairs bedroom door will remain shut, ans if I am required in a online meeting the back door can be left open for free roam of the garden and down stairs of the house. This can be altered or changed if your pooch have rules at home.

12. Kendall j.

“Kendall picked up Harley on time and made him feel very comfortable before going on the walk. She walked Harley for the whole time, accommodating for all of his needs e.g. letting him off the lead and played fetch. Kendall sent pictures throughout the walk, I would definitely use her again and recommend :)”

14. Ruby V.
About: I have recently moved out of my family home and I am desperately missing having a dog around the home! I have recently moved to Brentwood with my partner from my family home, where I have cared for my family dog for over 15 years. My family dog, Odie, is nearing 16 this year! So I am used to caring for a senior (blind and slightly deaf!) dog. I have also cared for friends and family’s small - medium-sized dogs in the past, including me staying at their home and their pets coming to stay with me in my home for longer periods of time (up to 2 weeks). Ages range from puppies to 9 years old. I work from home 3/5 days of the working week, with a fair amount of flexibility in my schedule, and I usually spend my weekends at home with my partner. Because of all of this, I am ready to start caring for your fur babies when I am home in the week, and with my dog-loving partner on weekends! As I work from home, I am able to pet sit from your home, but my preference would be to have your pet come to spend the day or stay at my home. I am more than happy to have your pet come and stay with me for longer periods of time, however I do work in London on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Due to my flexible schedule, I am also available for dog walks or drop-ins for your pets throughout the day in the week or on Saturdays if you’re in the Brentwood area. I drive and I am happy to have your pets in the car strapped in with a bed or blanket (or a cage if this is your preference and what they are used to) to do pick-ups and drop-offs when required. I live in a bungalow with plenty of space, and although we don’t have our own garden as such, we do have a lovely green area across the estate we live in, so your pooch will have plenty of outside space to go for walks and toilet breaks on a lead. If we have your dog for a longer period of time, we will take them over to a local country park or field throughout their stay with us so they can get their exercise in (and us!). Preference is to remain on a long lead and to have a good recall. Please do drop me a message if you would like more details on my experience with dogs, or if you have any questions about how I can cater to fur baby to ensure they have a great time with us 😊 I work from home Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and I am largely available on weekends (and will of course state otherwise if not on occasion). I have a flexible schedule that will allow me to take your dog out for regular walks and toilet breaks when necessary. I am happy for overnight stays and long stays, but please do consider that I work in London on Tuesdays and Thursdays. In my home, I have an open space kitchen and living area that I am happy for your pet to roam around as they please! I am also happy for pets to be on the sofa, bed etc. I do not have a garden, only a small fenced front garden, however I have plenty of green around the estate I live in for toilet breaks and short walks, and a few local country parks and playing fields I will take your dog to if they are staying with me for a few days. If you would require me to visit your home to care for your dog, it would be great to visit,or have a video call, beforehand so I can familiarise myself with the space and where everything is to care for your pet. I am happy to continue any crate training needs both at my home and your home.

15. Jenny D.
“Jenny did an absolutely fantastic job looking after both our cockapoo and cat on multiple occasions. Our cockapoo is quite a nervous dog and can be really anxious with strangers, but she fell in love with Jenny straightaway which really reassured us being able to leave her in Jenny’s care when we have gone away. Jenny’s extensive experience of dogs of different breeds and the patience and love that she has for each individual dog she cares for is what made us know we could trust her with our beloved family pets. Beyond that love, she has a wealth of knowledge on dog nutrition and care which helped us to improve our own care of our cockapoo. I would not hesitate to recommend Jenny to everyone looking for someone to care for their furry family member.”

16. William B.
About: We are Will & Isabelle, 2 dog lovers with lots of pet love and care to give! Having sadly lost two family dogs, we want to share the love with other furry friends in the area. We’ve both previously been owners of dogs and smaller pets, so we know just how much duty and care goes into your family member (we know all pets are part of the family 🐾) All dogs who stay with us will never be short of love, cuddles, kisses and walks! Will has always had family dogs and helped to train, walk, feed, care & nurture them, so any of your needs can be met. Will (myself) works from home full time, so will be constantly available to care for all your dogs needs. Isabelle also works from home two days a week so they will never be short of love and attention. We have a fully enclosed, gated garden, with a lawn where they can play, relax and do their business. We’re a 5 minute walk to a large national trust dog walking area and are both very active and healthy people so we can walk your dog as much as they need, or you want. We’re happy to care for all dogs, no matter the shape or size. We know some dogs love a hyperactive, fun environment. Some also like slow paced, relaxing and calm… we can do both! Our home is clean, tidy, safe and secure. We know how much pet owners adore their companions and we will treat them with that same love and care.

17. Leanne D.

“I have used Leanne and Kane twice now and was very happy with their service. When we first met, Monty took to them straight away as they are a very friendly couple. Will definitely continue using them for walkies”

18. Lucy S.
About: Friendly, experienced veterinary care dog walker. I studied at Writtle university college studying animal management where dog behaviour was one of my biggest interests. I then went on to working in a veterinary hospital which is one of the biggest hospitals in Essex. I now have started dog walking which I absolutely love and enjoy so much. I look after all pets as if they were my own as they’re not just pets they are family. I am currently working part time but I still have time for your pets! I work two days a week so I can easily work around this. I only look after pets in their own home on day visits as many times as needed which would be discussed with owner. If I had a client a long time and they needed care whilst on holiday I may consider this to.

19. Chené T.
“Anyone who has an anxious and needy little dog will know that the thought of leaving them in someone else’s care is torture. I really struggled with the idea of this, until I was referred to Chene by a colleague. She has taken such good care of my little baby whilst away and has really helped to ease my nerves around this. What a relief! Thank you Chene!”

20. Stanley A.
About: I have extensive experience caring for a wide range of pets, including dogs, cats, fish, and rabbits. Over the years, I've looked after numerous dog breeds, both large and small, and have developed a keen understanding of their unique needs and behaviors. My dedication to pet care means I’m always willing to go the extra mile to ensure your pet feels safe, loved, and well-taken care of. Moreover, I’m not alone in this commitment. My flatmate and I work together to provide comprehensive and continuous care, ensuring that your pet is never left unattended. This team approach guarantees that your pet receives 24/7 attention and care if needed, giving you peace of mind that they are in safe hands at all times. Me and my flatmate alternate on our sittings to ensure that if needed your pet has the most care possible. Just let us know if constant 24/7 care is needed. We won’t care for cats at our home as we have a balcony and are not on the ground floor. With dogs, we can care for small ones at ours however bigger breeds may be difficult to host. If caring at the pet owners home, we will care for the pet however the owner would want us to.
