I’ve also been offering dog care through Rover for the past couple of years, looking after a wide range of breeds, temperaments and personalities — just take a look through my gallery for some of the lovely dogs I’ve had the pleasure of caring for! My partner and I have our own dog, Luna, a 2-year-old Hungarian Vizsla. If you know the breed, you’ll know just how energetic, intelligent and demanding they can be! Having a dog ourselves, we completely understand how important it is to feel confident that your dog is in safe, caring and trustworthy hands while you’re away. We also have plenty of training knowledge thanks to an extensive handover from Platinum K9 in Nottingham, who helped us kick-start Luna’s training when she was a puppy. This means we’re confident in reinforcing positive behaviours and maintaining good routines while your dog is in our care. That said, we’re completely flexible and will always tailor our approach to your dog. If you simply want them to have a loving, relaxed home-from-home experience, we’re more than happy for them to make themselves comfortable on the sofa or even the bed! We have plenty of toys, dog beds and even a crate available if your dog prefers having their own quiet space. Luna is incredibly loving and playful and enjoys her daily adventures and runarounds in the forest. Once we’re back home, the environment is calm, relaxed and cosy — perfect for winding down after a busy day. All you need to bring is your dog’s usual food and any favourite treats, and we’ll take care of the rest. We also make sure owners are kept in the loop throughout the day, with plenty of photos and updates so you can see exactly what your pup is getting up to. We had a wonderful experience with Chene. After a disappointing experience with another sitter, we were extremely anxious about leaving our precious Bella again. We explained this to Chene beforehand and she was incredibly understanding and reassuring from the very beginning. At drop-off, she took the time to listen to Bella’s routine and all our little requests. Bella was initially nervous, so Chene took her for a lovely woodland walk, which really helped her settle. Her family were equally lovely and made Bella feel completely at home. ❤️ Throughout the day, Chene sent us regular photos, videos and updates without us having to ask, which gave us so much peace of mind. Bella even had a little puppy accident on their bedding 🙈 and Chene was so calm and kind about it, simply reassuring us that puppies do these things. When we collected Bella, she again took the time to tell us all about her day. We came away feeling that Bella had genuinely been cared for like one of their own. Thank you, Chene, for taking such wonderful care of our little girl and for making two very anxious dog parents feel completely reassured. We would happily leave Bella with you again. ❤️🐾
Chene always takes great care of Wilf. He gets very excited when he realises where he's going. Chene sends lots of pictures and Wilf always looks happy in them!. Will definitely use again.
Repeat client - when I need a sitter, I always look for Chene's availability first as she does such a good job at looking after Wilf. Wilf loves it there and will use again!
Repeat visit for Wilf and as always he absolutely loves it! He gets excited as soon as he knows where we are going. Chene always looks after him so well and I get lots of pictures.

Schedule
Very flexible to discuss the care needed. There will always be constant supervision and your dog will not be left alone. We will also keep you up to date throughout the stay

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
Each dog is unique and therefore what we do and how we do it will vary. We thoroughly enjoy a long walk in the forest (on or off lead depending on your comfort levels and your dogs recall) or a stroll around big fields for the dogs to play around. Your dog will be walked as little or as much as you suggest to be suitable for them. We always carry treats and water with us to ensure they are happy on their walk. Our Vizsla will offer plenty of play time and I will offer suitable training in addition to this if preferred. Equally, we love our downtime, so it goes without saying that there will be plenty of cuddles and a relaxed environment in the home. I am happy to follow any specific routines and commands you use with your dog to ensure they are still following as much of their usual routine as possible. I will also keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages so you never feel too far away from your pooch!

Stimulating training, the best cuddles, long walks in the forest, play time in the field and plenty of relaxation at home. Your dog will never be bored when they are with us and Luna!
