About: I have my own fox red labrador who we have raised since a puppy to be a very lovely and well mannered dog, I am very proud of her (and myself!) I attended puppy classes with her so have some basic skills in training and understanding of dog behaviour. This has sparked a passion for all dogs (yes I am the annoying woman that talks to them all!) I have walked dogs including a big bouncy golden retriever and a nervous collie mix. I am a registered volunteer with an animal charity for dog walking/pet sitting and am first aid trained. I now have time during the week and some weekends and evenings and would like to dedicate them to your dogs and other pets. I can sometimes be available at short notice. Ideally I would want a free meet and greet first to make sure your dog and I are going to be best mates :) I have at least one week day off per week and some working from home days which will allow me to do some dog walks during the week. I also have some weekends. My own dog is very socialised if you wanted a friend for yours I'd be happy to arrange a meet to see if they could be walked together. I care for pets according to your instruction and their routine. Dog walks are always on lead in the first instance, if you are happy for your dog to be off lead I will only do this once we have build trust and a bond that means this is safe.

About: I've had dogs of varying breeds my whole life, and so I'm comfortable looking after any dog. I regularly look after dogs for friends and family with the help of my friendly Cavapoo, Nellie. I treat all dogs like I would my own, with full access to the house and garden and a lot of love. I love walking and so am always keen to exercise dogs and give them a rewarding day. I work from home three days a week (Tues/Weds/Thurs) and so can be flexible throughout the week as well as on weekends. Dogs fit into our lives seemlessly and so we are always happy to have them in the house. I have a fenced garden and a friendly Cavapoo, Nellie who is always happy to share toys and keep dogs company whilst with us. I treat other's dogs as if they were my own; with a lot of love, attention and walks.

About: I have recently completed my final year studying Animal Management at university, where I’ve gained a strong understanding of dog behaviour, training, health, and welfare. This allows me to provide more than just basic care—I can recognise body language, support positive behaviour, and tailor each dog’s routine to suit their individual needs. I have experience caring for dogs of different breeds, sizes, and temperaments, including more nervous or anxious dogs who may need extra patience and reassurance. I’m also confident reinforcing basic training such as lead manners and general obedience during their stay if needed. Another key difference is that your dog will rarely ever be left alone. Between me and my partner, someone is typically always home, so your dog will have constant supervision, companionship, and attention throughout the day. We are also both insured outside of Rover! I also provide a calm, spacious home environment and keep my bookings limited to a maximum of 2 dogs (as long as both owners are informed and have agreed prior), so each dog receives focused care rather than being one of many. I work in the pub downstairs (Thursday-Saturday evenings - can change depending on your booking!), but between me and my partner, one of us is always at home—so your dog will never be left alone. About: I've spent years caring for my own pets and currently share my home with three dogs and a cat (and I still want more). So I've had lots of hands-on experience with different ages, care needs, pooping abilities and personalities (and they certainly all have them). About: I have grown up around dogs, all across my family, looked after many for weeks at a time, taken them on walks for family members and for friends. Recently I have house sat for a few people who have cats too and found it just as easy. I operate clear communication with owners and make sure any requests are met and social requirements for the pets. Put 1 year experience because it doesn’t specify if cumulative or not. Will take your dog out for runs if you want I work at a cafe on a few days of the week. Hopefully going to be moving to a military role, which is why this is perfect for me for the short term. I am available most days as my current rota comes on a week by week, so I can book days where needed. I do not offer my own home but with owners homes, I will do my own quick check to make sure no issues such as holes in the fences or anything like that. I also double check how to do the locks and if there are any cat flaps or outdoor dog houses. Food timings are essential so I stick to the same time within 30 minutes each day, unless asked otherwise

About: Claire’s Canines started in 2021, but the idea and planning for it began way back in 2018 and 2019 when I was living in Spain. I often walked my friends' dogs to help when she was at work, and dog sat for her when she had to work overtime. Upon my return to the UK, I missed the experience and decided to start up my own company full time. I cater for all dogs of all breeds and ages and understand some dogs love a good run, while others prefer a slow simple walk. Every walk is bespoke to your dog's needs, for example, if you have a young dog who needs good daily exercise, we will give them a chance to exercise off-leash (with owners permission). Older dogs or dogs with health problems will be provided with shorter more local walks, less strenuous, but still getting that crucial exercise needed. I hope that your dogs will be able to join us on our adventures and don’t worry if your dog is not particularly sociable. I can cater for solo walks too. Best paw forward! Love from Claire Morning walks between 7 and 11. Midday walks between 12 and 2. Afternoon walks 3 and 6. All walks last an hour unless otherwise arranged. All dogs are walked and returned to your property, given clean fresh water, and treats (if allowed) are left contented and happy. I do not include any driving time in the session, so your dogs get their full allotted timescale of fun!

About: I have had many pets in my life with many different health issues, including diabetes, dementia and many other from rescues, this has given me a unique experience and has only enhanced my love of all animals. While unqualified I have had all my past pets up till the end of their lives and have made it as happy as possible Im currently working Monday to Friday 8:30 till 3:15 and once I know how far I have to walk (as currently without a car) I am happy to come and walk your furry best friend. I currently live in a flat so I will only be walking pets for now but happy to take to local parks or somewhere they can feel grass and you'd feel safe for them to be.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 14. At home there is myself husband and our mature dog savvy daughter. We have both of our sister dogs regularly - which you will see in our pics. My friends and family have relied on us to show affection and cuddles as well as life necessity of walking, feeding and bathing their furry friends. My husband and myself both have experience with rescue dogs too. We don’t currently have a dog of our own because we work 2 late days. But the other 5 days we are available for doggy day care and for boarding. We have a large garden and a huge field about a 3 minute walk away so your pets will always get what exercise they need, depending on what they need. We have a large downstairs with a comfy sofa. We will follow the rules you set, when it comes to where your pet is allowed. The same as if we are in your home, we will follow your pet rules.

“Tia has taken out little Ace, 15 week puppy who quite excitable at times on walk every morning for this weekend. She has arrived a little before start of booking to give little pup time to adjust and always with a bright attitude got on with what she needed to do, gave Ace a little time as he quite nervous and has toilet accident, she has given me such a great reassurance on his first walk with someone outside the family. Pictures with updates have been great. Tia has great manner and during our meet and greet she had already filled me with confidence that she would know how to handle a puppy and this weekend proved that with a triple walk!
