About: I have had an array of different animals for around 40 years & soley cared for them (Dogs / Cats / Rabbits / Guinea pigs / Hamsters). I absolutely love animals, especially dogs! Hi, I’m Sue. I work part time & recently lost my 16 year old Westie cross who I absolutely adored. I am not ready to commit to getting another one yet, but do really miss having a little furry friend to take out on a nice walk! I am able to look after your pets at my home or yours, I have a fenced secure garden so your pets will be safe!

About: We have always had a family dog, puppies and now a rescue. We care for friends dogs regularly during the day and overnight. Róisín is at University studying Animal Management. We leave time each week for dog walking and check ins. We like to be flexible so we can meet the needs of your pets We will carefully follow your instructions on how to care for your special pets as well as using our intuition to provide comfort and fun We work and study locally so have some flexibility most days to do short visits or walks. We are used to walking in all weathers. Presently we do not care for pets in our own home (unless they are small caged pets) as our own dog Cooper is very senior and needs the peace of just our company

About: I have owned dogs my entire life and have had owned them and trained them from puppies. I currently share 3 dogs with my family aged 9 months, 6 years old and 10 years old. I am used to caring for a range of ages and energies. I also have experience of caring for a variety of breeds and catering to their individual needs. I am also currently completing a course on dog behaviour, first aid and day care/ boarding needs. I am a teacher so I am available during school holidays and weekends. Dogs in my care get at least 2 walks a day and lots of play time. My partner works shifts so there is always someone home to spend time, give lots of love and care to your dog. With Stansted airport only 5 minutes away! You can drop your dog off on route to the airport or make use of my available parking space at an extra charge whilst you’re away. I have a very good size, fenced garden and I share 3 friendly medium sized dogs with my family who can keep your dog company. I can also crate your dog if that’s their normal routine. I have the flitch walk and fields on my doorstep for us all to enjoy! I am happy to alter my day to suit your fur babies routine.

About: We have an indoor cat (eight) and a Labrador (two) so have reasonable experience. We spend a lot of time with the pets, playing, training and instilling good habits. Our house is fairly pet proofed with stair gates to give the cat his own space away from the dog and minimal clutter to remove temptation for the dog to eat things she shouldn’t. We both work full time but there is someone home at least 4 days out of 5. We take our lab out twice a day, wind, rain or shine for approx 45 minutes each time. Our house is reasonably dog friendly with minimal clutter and stair gates to give the cat some personal space. We have a medium sized, fenced garden for plenty of play time in between walks.

About: I have grown up with dogs and I am a total animal lover. I am active myself so can keep up with energised dogs but also love having a cuddle with dogs who love that too. I have a fenced garden and cosy spaces for dogs to relax in. I am opposite green open space and surrounded by lots of great walks. I am very happy to meet you and your dog before anything gets booked in if preferred 🥰 I work from home so can walk your furry friend during my lunch times (an hour) or after work (I finish at 5). My work is flexible so times can vary :) I can visit owners homes to look after their pet, I am able bodied and strong. I can make sure they have food and water and are taken out

About: I do all services, but NONE at my home. I can come to you! I had a rescue German shepherd dog since I was young. We took her to training and agility classes. I have dog sat and dog walked for people a few times. I have worked in childcare for 3+ years and I still am. I have availability on Mondays. I am available some evenings after work at 5pm and I am available at weekends. I love all dogs and other small animals. I would prefer to dogsit at the owners home (s) if possible. I would make sure that food that is not dog food is out of reach and they wouldn't climb on anything, furniture etc. that they are not supposed to.

About: My Golden oldie loves a bit of canine company. She is happy to show company her favourite walks & sniffs as well as sharing her owners care & cuddles. We have experience with all sorts of wagging tails from poms to labs . We also have doggy cam to keep an eye on guests I’m now retired so can be around any time to look after your dog. I do like to go to gym/pool 3 mornings a week but am always back for lunchtime. I’m around all weekend apart from tennis Sunday morning. We walk every morning and evening with various routes across tracks & fields close by. My old Goldie is very easy going and will be excellent company for your pet. Our garden is fenced & secured with padlocked gates top & bottom so we can easily get out for “business “ safely. No dogs are allowed upstairs but otherwise have the downstairs space and plenty if room to be together or further apart if thats what they choose.

About: Any pet in my care is always treated with the love and attention as if it were my own. I have a love of animals and have always had them in the home from a very young age. I've had experience walking both larger and smaller dogs and have had to train them through the difficult "puppy phase", giving me a good sense of how best to deal with tricky situations Im not able to have a pet of my own at the moment, so when I am able to, I love to spend time looking after other people's furbabies to give them the extra bit of love they all deserve. As I will be in your pets own environment, I would be keeping them safe whilst they enjoy their own comforts. When we go out for walks, dogs will always be kept on the lead and under supervision unless you have any specific instructions to better suit your pups needs

About: I’ve had dogs since I was 10, two Hungarian vizlas and my family has two very sassy sausages! have looked after older dogs, and also younger, I looked after two puppy pointers for two weeks so I understand the challenges that come with puppies. I’m a photographer and therefore love to take my camera out to get some great shots of the dogs in action! I work part time so have plenty of free weekdays, mornings work best. Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays are completely free days, and the occasional weekend are free. I live in a very secure house in elsenham with a fenced garden, being in Elsenham means there’s lots of lovely dog walking areas as well which I love. I work remotely Monday to Wednesday and have Thursday and Friday off so am quite flexible! I sometimes head to Devon so would need at least a couple of days notice if dog care needed. I have a fenced garden so your dog will be safe at all times. I work downstairs so your dog will have company at all times as well :)

About: I am a Qualified level 2 vet nurse assistant, with lots of experience with rescue animals. My border collie is anxious with new dogs I cannot offer boarding, but I am more than happy to house sit and walk your furry friends or drop in for cuddles. I have had rescue dogs since I was 6, sharing responsibility till I was older. I have now got two rescue dogs one from Romania (husky cross) who has three legs so needs extra support with medication and walks, and a border collie who is full of energy but requires longer walks and can be aggressive to others, I have experience with aggressive furries too! I’m located near Hatfield forest (5 min drive) and the flitch way is backing on to my property so if you’re furry friend is worried in a car, I can also use the flitch way for enrichment filled walks. I studied animal management at Writtle university college, meaning I have lots of experience with all kinds of species, including exotic birds, cats, small animals, reptiles and even wallabies. I have strong knowledge of behaviour issues and special food requirements, I am also confident to administrate medication, injection or oral. About: Hi, I'm Hannah - a freelance arts manager and pet sitter. I'm a huge animal lover, having owned and cared for over 30 pets, including dogs, cats, chickens, guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, fish - and one slightly grumpy terrapin! My freelance work means I am very flexible and can be home for most of the day to keep your pet company. I've cared for animals of all sizes and dispositions from nervous kittens to excitable labradors and pets in my care get their walkies or play every day without fail, rain or shine, and all the care and attention they would be accustomed to with plenty of cuddles, brushing (if they like those things) and of course, approved treats. My family pets were often older rescues with difficult pasts and nervous when they first came to us, so I'm used to catering to those sorts of needs in an animal in terms of appropriate levels of exercise and handling, giving medication, providing lots of reassurance and affection and just letting them feel comfortable, safe and to get to you know you at their own pace. Puppies and kittens are no problem either though, and I'm happy to continue any training you may be doing with them. When visiting pets in their own homes my aim is to make them feel comfortable and secure, including having them sleep in with me if allowed, and will do either leashed walks or dog park visits - whatever they are used to. If I have another local dog walking appointment during my stay and your dog is good around other dogs, they will get to come along too and have bonus walkies! As I'm home the majority of the day, pee breaks can be regular and I'm happy to give medication, food and water etc. as needed, whether doing daily drop-ins or longer term housesitting. I have a very flexible schedule and fit in admin work from home around pet-sitting. Saturday late afternoons - evenings are my only inflexible time due to work commitments, but I am happy to take longer housesits incorporating a Saturday if the pet can be left for 6 hours or there is a temporary companion such as a family member or neighbour who can cover that time. When staying in an owner's home, I follow the pet's normal feeding and walking/playtime routine so that they feel safe and settled. I also maintain any house rules set by the owner (whether this is 'no pets on the furniture', or a requirement for the pet to sleep in my room). I minimise the need to be away from the house during the day (unless the pet is used to this and it's considered better for their routine to continue the pattern), and never leave a pet alone overnight.

About: Hello we are Paige and Chris we love animals especially dogs. We live in a countryside Cottage with a large garden surrounded by fields which we walk over three times a day to get the dogs out for a change of scenery from our large garden. we offer spaces everyday up to 5 dogs at once. We are a warm loving family who will show your fur babies the love and care they are used to receiving at home and we hope this shows when you collect your dog they won’t want to leave or are very excited to come back and will see our place as a home from home. we have been looking after dogs for many years now and all breeds are welcome here , we do not discriminate against breeds , large or teacup will all get the care they need. we require that all dogs booked in with us to do a meet and greet pre booking. we realise that sometimes this may not be possible and we will strive to accommodate the situation as best as possible as understand that sometimes some circumstances aren’t foreseeable ie. emergency sitting. we currently have a regular dog with us 5days a week who is a very gentle natured girl who would also like the company of more friends which we would also like. We also have our own dog, a female pug named Olive, who was originally a foster dog but has become a permanent member of our family due to our deep affection for her. Therefore, any dogs that stay with us must be dog-friendly as Olive will be helping us insure you have a tired pooch. Schedule: I work part time as an evening vet nursing assistant at an emergency veterinary clinic on a one-week-on, one-week-off basis. During my week off, I provide doggy day care and boarding, which is already scheduled in my diary. My partner, who is a qualified veterinarian, works during the day at a veterinary clinic from Monday to Friday. We are open to caring for pets with medical needs, such as diabetes. Your furry friend will be treated with the same care and attention as our own pets. They will have free range of the house, including the bed, sofa, and garden. Our 4-bedroom home is just a 4-minute drive from the Cotswolds, providing plenty of opportunities for scenic walks. For less mobile dogs, there is a playing field a 9-minute walk (2-minute drive) from our house. We generally keep dogs on a leash for safety, however, we can accommodate off leash time in some enclosed dog-friendly fields nearby upon request.
