I am starting a university course at the London Metropolitan University and I will be studying Journalism. I am new to the area and eager to make new pet sitting connections. I have experience pet sitting in London, starting my pet sitting career off in the city in 2023. I will have classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays this year so If you book these days please be aware I will be out for most of the day, can only provide drop ins early in the morning or in the evening and preferably only walks in the evening but can be flexible if previously discussed.

I make sure to follow any instructions you have given me regarding your pets care to a T. I will make sure to keep note of any special instructions set out by you, and use my 3 years experience and judgement to ensure your pets safety at all times. I’ll make sure to keep any dogs leashed on walks at all times unless otherwise specified and we’re in a safe space. I will keep you updated throughout the stay and check in with you if anything unexpected occurs. **Please note I do not drive so if any emergencies occur I will have to use Uber Pet or try to get a lift from someone. It is helpful if you leave contact details of someone you trust to provide transport in an emergency situation. Luckily this has never been needed in any of my sits in the last 3 years.
Information Antonia C. would like to know about your pet
I love all pets and I’m willing to take on pets with challenges as long as I’m warned in advance and you take the time to teach me what to do/ how to handle their specific needs. In the last few years I’ve gained experience working with anxious/unuttered/quirky/rescue pets and I’m confident and patient with meeting their needs. I do not take on booking without at least 1 meet and greet / consultation ahead of the booking. These are free of charge and give us a chance to cover all bases, as well as giving your pet a chance to familiarise themselves with me. I recommend these take place where the booking will occur so the pet gets used to me in their space. If for example there’s challenges with walking, I would recommend we go for a walk together so you can assess how I handle your pet and if you’re happy to proceed after.
A typical day
I will be attending lectures on days specified and be studying/completing course work throughout the week, which I will be able to do during the sitting. If I need to access the facilities at the university or complete something at home I will let you know. I will be able to give you better insight on what my days will look like during the meet and greets and closer to the booking. If for example it’s an overnight stay, I may tell you I will be out between 1pm-5pm that day.

Pet care experience
*PLEASE NOTE FOR MY CHELMSFORD CLIENTS I will be starting uni in London commencing January 18th 2026. I will be living in the city Tuesday-Thursday minimum. If you require house sitting services Friday-Monday please let me know and I can still travel back to provide them if I do not have prior commitments. Over the years I’ve taken care of family members’ dogs as well as close friends’ dogs. I’ve also cared for cats and reptiles. I have worked on Rover for the last 2 years and have built a good client base. I’ve looked after dogs of all sizes and loved keeping up with their routine, making sure they’re fed, watered and walked to satisfaction. I’ve had experience mostly with older and adult dogs but I’m more than happy to take care of puppies also. I have experience administering pills to dogs and in the past administered injections to cats so can transfer that over to dogs as well.

Reviews
This is the second occassion, that Antonia has now looked after our cats (and booked very shortly succession after our first trip away). We have used a number of sitters in the past but what really makes her stand out is how relaxed and affectionate our cats are upon our return. The house is also always spotless. I cannot recommend her enough and she is our first choice now for when we are away

Antonia was great with my dog Pancho. She sent me updates with photos and videos which was much appreciated. Thank you again x
We’ve used a number of sitters in the past but Antonia has been by far the best cat sitter we’ve had. She shared photos and provided daily updates which was really nice but what really set Antonia apart, was actually the difference in our cats themselves when we got back. They were calm, happy, relaxed, and clearly very well looked after whereas with other sitters they’ve seemed stressed or unsettled upon our return. She clearly looked after them properly and genuinely took the time to make sure the cats are loved and cared for properly. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her, and she’ll definitely be our go-to sitter from now on (and we’re booking her again for our next holiday already)!

Thank you again - Remy was pleased to see you
