“Jenette & Husband looked after Marley for me whilst I was on training in London. And safe to say. Marley had the time of his life!! I was getting updated every day with photos/ videos and messages of how Marley was doing and to me it looked like he had lots of fun! Thank you so so much to both of you once again! I now have a very tired dog! Phew! Will be booking again! Thankyou xx”

“Andrew has been excellent from start to finish. I contacted him with a last minute booking for my 10 year old Staffy and he was very accommodating. I have never had to leave my dog with a sitter before so was apprehensive, but as soon as I arrived and met Andrew and his parents my mind was put to rest. Lovely people, with a lovely home. Andrew had a very calming demeanour and I knew my dog was in safe hands. He provided photo updates and answered any questions I had, and most importantly Presley come back as happy and daft as ever. I was able to enjoy my trip away knowing my dog was safe and well looked after. Couldn’t recommend highly enough! 10/10, thank you 🙏🏼”

“It is very difficult to quantify how incredible and sweet Andreia and her beautiful family are. I could talk about how wonderful she was with our “less than easy” Spaniel, but there are so many other aspects of Andreia that makes her quite special. We had numerous complications with our holiday plans including a very last minute postponement as a result of American bombing in the Middle East. Andreia took it all in her stride. In summary, I would dare to suggest that if you are lucky enough to have Andreia take care of your dog, you can count yourself lucky.”

“My dog had a great time with Bea. I received regular updates and the communication was great. Lovely family environment, nice house & garden and their dog Luna is super friendly too. Thanks again Bea & family!”

“Cathy was just amazing. She has loads of experience with 2 gorgeous and very well behaved dogs of her own. She is so knowledgeable about how to care for dogs. She also provided regular updates on my dog without being asked. She is very professional and just a lovely person. My dog loved her. I will use her again 100%.”

About: As a dedicated cat lover and proud parent to two cats of my own, I truly understand the importance of finding a trustworthy, caring sitter. Having used cat sitters myself, I know first hand how crucial it is to have someone reliable looking after your precious pets while you're away. I strongly believe that cats thrive best in their own familiar environment – their own territory where they feel safe and secure. That's why in-home cat sitting is so beneficial compared to other options. Your cat can maintain their regular routine, enjoy their favourite sunny spots, and stay relaxed in their own space. Drawing from my experience caring for my own furry family members, I understand cat behaviour, health, and daily care routines. During each visit, I'll spend quality time not just attending to essentials like food and litter, but also engaging in play and giving plenty of affection. I send regular updates with photos so you can relax knowing your furry family member is in caring hands. I maintain a clean, organized approach to cat care, am punctual with all visits, and always follow your specific care instructions to the letter. Whether your cat is a playful kitten or a senior who prefers quiet companionship, I adapt my care style to match their preferences.
“I really appreciated Karolina’s help with checking in on my cat while I’m at work. It was a very last minute request and she didn’t hesitate to assist. She documented her visit with loads of pictures and clear communication which I really appreciate. I feel much more relaxed knowing my cat will be alright at home until I’m back!”

About: I am a loyal, trustworthy, and deeply animal-loving person who has always felt happiest when surrounded by pets. Growing up, I was constantly drawn to animals, and caring for them has never felt like a chore—it’s something that comes naturally to me. I have pets of my own, so I truly understand the responsibility, patience, and love that goes into keeping animals happy, healthy, and safe. Being a pet owner has taught me how important routine, attention, and affection are in an animal’s life. For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to become a pet sitter and dog walker because I genuinely love being around animals of all kinds. Spending time with them brings me joy, and I take pride in making them feel comfortable and secure, especially when their owners are away. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care, and I am committed to providing the same level of love and dedication that I give to my own pets. My passion for animal care motivates me every day. I am attentive to details, patient with different personalities, and always focused on each pet’s well-being. Becoming a pet sitter isn’t just a job for me—it’s an opportunity to turn my love for animals into meaningful work where I can make a positive difference in their lives.

About: I’ve had cats for over 15 years and have always loved being around them. I understand that every cat is different, and I’m happy to follow their usual routine to help them feel comfortable while you’re away. Whether it’s feeding, cleaning litter trays, giving medication if needed, or simply spending time with them for some fuss and company, I’ll make sure they’re well looked after and happy in their own home

“I cannot recommend Kiera enough! We booked Kiera through Cat in a Flat to look after our five cats for two whole weeks, and she was absolutely wonderful. From our very first communication, she was incredibly polite, kind, and professional, which immediately put my mind at ease for such a long trip. Taking care of five cats is no small task, but Kiera handled it perfectly. Every day, she sent me detailed updates and lovely photos, so I always knew my fur babies were safe and happy. She took care of all the essentials flawlessly—feeding them on schedule and keeping all the litter boxes completely spotless. What really stood out to me was how she went above and beyond. A couple of times, my cats had little accidents, and Kiera kindly cleaned up the vomit and mess without a single complaint. She is truly dedicated to the well-being of the pets she watches. As a wonderful bonus, she even stepped in to feed our fish! I also really appreciated how comfortable and understanding she was regarding our home security. We have several cameras installed for safety (on the outside corner of the house, the front door, the garden fence, as well as inside the living room and nursery). Some sitters might find that intimidating, but it didn't bother Kiera at all, which just proves how transparent, trustworthy, and professional she is. Kiera is a very sweet, reliable, and hardworking sitter. Her messages were always so polite and a joy to read. If you are looking for someone who will treat your home and pets with the utmost care and respect, Kiera is the perfect choice. I will definitely be booking her again! 5/5 stars! 🐈🐈🐈🐈🐈”

“Looked after fudge well and followed instructions and gave me daily updates. Reliable and trustworthy, really helped me out when I was desperately in need of someone to look after her.”

“Bruno had a wonderful time with Chloe! Our 3-year-old Boxer (who very much still thinks he's a puppy) was in great hands. She clearly put in a lot of effort — a long, happy walk and plenty of socialising with other dogs made for one very content boy. He came home absolutely exhausted and is now snoring away in his bed, which is the best sign of a great day out. We really appreciate the care and attention Chloe gave him. Highly recommended! 🐾”

“Yhozmin and her family were amazing. Cleo was extremely well cared for and they kept us updated with lots of photos. We wouldn’t hesitate to leave Cleo with Yhozmin again.”

“Amelia was amazing! Elton can be very anxious at times but she was really able to put him at ease with her calming nature. I was sent photo updates throughout the day, they did lots of playing and then had some chilled downtime too. Elton absolutely loves Amelia and I now have one very happy pup! Looking to book again :)”

About: I’ve cared for friends and family’s dogs of all age. I make sure each pet feels safe, loved, and keeps to their normal routine. I’m patient, attentive, and treat every dog like my own. Whether it’s extra playtime or gentle care, I adapt to each pet’s needs to keep tails wagging and owners worry-free. We work from home so there is always someone around for a lap to sit on. Our dog gets a quick walk before work in the mornings then generally we work a longer one into the afternoon. We are often at home or we take our dog out with us to the forest or beach. I have a fenced off garden and stair gate on the kitchen door to stop any dogs escaping out the front door. We are a dogs on furniture kind of home and you will often find ours on our lap!

I know every pet has their own personality and needs, and I truly enjoy getting to know them and making them feel at home with me. 🐕🐈🐇🐠 I love them all! Pet care fits right into my routine because I’m home most of the week. That means your pets get companionship, care, and lots of love just like they would from family. In your home, I’ll keep their routine consistent so they feel happy and comfortable.
“Laurita took care of my 4 month old Bichon Frise puppy. I literally had my puppy barely a week and needed someone to take care of him for the day because I needed to attend an emergency memorial on the Isle of Wight. He was scared when he got there and I was worried but she put my mind at ease and sent me some amazing video clip updates of him playing with her dog and absolutely loving being there and 100% happy. Her dog is so gorgeous as well— he was like an older sibling. She was also kind enough to give him a bath which I’m so grateful for. He looked beautiful when I picked him up. It is clear to see that Laurita is a dog lover and took care of Ceaser like he was her own. I was so lucky to find her and I will definitely be going to her again if I need her to take care of Ceaser. I also was stuck in traffic on the M25 and was going to arrive late to pick him up but she was so flexible. Thank you so much Laurita for taking care of Ceaser, you are a one of a kind, caring, lovely person.”

“Woody had a great time with Lisa and her little doggy. Lisa was easy to communicate with and was very accommodating when we had to move our schedule. Woody will definitely be staying again!”

About: I had a dog and many cats thoughout my life. I'm currently working two days a week (Mon and Thurs) at a veterinary clinic. My weeks are very free for plenty of walks and play. I can only really care for smaller dogs or cats at my place as its a one bedroom flat. I'll happily entertain any who needs a place to stay.

“Amazing short notice daycare! With less than 48 hours notice, Daniel managed to fit in a quick meet and greet, take on board all info and provide amazing day care for Doug. Regular photos and videos received. Doug returned happy and tired. Will 100% be rebooking the next time I need doggy day care. Thank you!!”

“My Cockapoo Jeanie had a great day at Carina’s house playing with her dog Bella and her daughter. She was treated like part of the family right away and made herself at home in Bella’s comfy bed. Played in the garden throughout the day and went on a nice walk too. It was so nice to receive update photos and messages while I was at work and I felt happy knowing she was being cared for and I didn’t have to worry. Thank you Carina, Jeanie looks forward to her next stay with you 🥰”

“Kelly & Ed were great with Rosie and gave us plenty of updates and photos whilst we were away for just one night. They actually seemed to be really looking forward to having her and I’m sure they made her feel at home. It was another hot sunny day but they made sure to take her out early in the morning. Would thoroughly recommend, but then again, don’t want them do busy that they can’t look after Rosie again !! 😝”

About: Pets have been a part of my life since the day I was born — dogs and cats were always in our family home, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. Today I have my own family and a 4-year-old neutered Jackawawa who is friendly, sociable, and loves playing with other dogs, so your pup will always have a companion. I work from home full-time, which means I'm around all day and can give visiting dogs the attention and routine they deserve. My day naturally includes a morning walk, an evening walk, and a lunchtime play session with a ball — your dog is welcome to join in. We also have a garden with a dog flap, so dogs can head outside freely whenever they like. My 2-year-old kid loves dogs and has grown up alongside ours, so your pet will be welcomed into a genuinely dog-friendly household where they can feel relaxed and at home. I work remotely full-time, so I'm home all day and can give dogs the attention and routine they need. My day includes a morning walk, a lunchtime play session in the park in front of our house, and an evening walk — your dog is welcome to join in on all of it. I can adapt breaks and outings around your dog's specific needs. Your dog will be staying in a warm, pet-friendly family home with a garden they can access freely via a dog flap — inside and outside whenever they please. My 4-year-old neutered Jackawawa is friendly and well-socialised, making it easy for visiting dogs to settle in. I'm home all day, so your dog is never left alone for long.

About: My family have had dogs my entire life so I am very much a dog lover and fanatic! I love knowing about all the different breeds, different personalities and getting to know dogs characters. I have a small terrier myself who is now 6. I am a very confident person when it comes to handling dogs and walking them. I regularly have friends dogs over to stay for play dates with my dog and I genuinely love spending time with them so being on Rover makes total sense. I work from home 3 days a week so can be rather flexible with sitting and walks and general dog companionship :) In my day job I come across a lot of dogs and I have actually rehomed 14 so far in to loving homes. One of them even now lives in Lisbon! I can honestly find a connection with any dog, I cannot see how some people arent dog people! I work from home 3 days a week and spend 2 out 4 weekends a month at home. I take my own dog out for 2 walks a day everyday without fail. I have a good sized garden which is safe and fenced off. I also have lots of lovely walks local to me across fields and forests which I know my dog loves also. My dog has a bed downstairs but often sleeps upstairs in my bedroom but I would be happy for a dog staying overnight to be anywhere that he/she is comfortable in the home, there are no off limits areas.

We'll either have a morning and evening walk or 1 long trip to the forest everyday followed by relaxing and playing in the garden. You'll be sure to get plenty of updates, pictures and videos! I love capturing beautiful pictures of our guests and there's always a cupboard filled with treats. We have some apple trees at the back of the garden, plus plenty of sticks and balls. - Today we enjoyed a dog friendly swim and dig at Mersea beach! Our home would best suit guests comfortable around other dogs as we will pass plenty of other owners in the forest however I'm happy to schedule walks during quieter times if they have a more nervous temperment. See all the fun we're having on my Facebook page- Bonny's Boarding I'm currently working part time Tuesday Thursday and Friday so I am home most days to care for your dog. I'll provide a walk in the morning and evening depending on energy levels. I've been awarded the highest grading of 5 stars for animal welfare in my recent inspection. I ensure that I fully understand the needs of all the dogs who stay with us before hand and review thier owner notes to make sure I'm confident with what to expect.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 10 years old, starting with my family Labrador, Dolly. Over the past few years, I’ve regularly looked after dogs for friends and family, including house sitting, dog walking and daily care. I’ve worked with a variety of breeds and personalities, and I always take the time to understand each dog’s routine and needs. I also spent 3 months in the USA where I gained additional experience with dog walking and pet sitting. I am enhanced DBS checked and volunteer with my Golden Retriever, which has given me even more hands-on experience working with dogs in different environments. I’m reliable, caring and treat every pet as if they were my own. I provide pet care full-time, which means I have a very flexible schedule and can give your pet plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits and house sitting, including weekdays and weekends. I can also be flexible to suit your pet’s routine and needs. I can spend extended time with your pet during the day where needed, ensuring they are not left alone for long periods. I make sure every dog and cat gets plenty of social interaction, exercise and attention based on their individual needs. I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding routines, medication (if required) and any specific care requirements to ensure they stay happy and healthy. I also make sure your home is kept safe and secure at all times, and I treat both your pet and your home with the utmost respect. I am enhanced DBS checked, giving you extra peace of mind while your pet is in my care.

About: I do all services, but NONE at my home. I can come to you! I had a rescue German shepherd dog since I was young. We took her to training and agility classes. I have dog sat and dog walked for people a few times. I have worked in childcare for 3+ years and I still am. I have availability on Mondays. I am available some evenings after work at 5pm and I am available at weekends. I love all dogs and other small animals. I would prefer to dogsit at the owners home (s) if possible. I would make sure that food that is not dog food is out of reach and they wouldn't climb on anything, furniture etc. that they are not supposed to.

Pet care is a big part of my daily life, and I organise my schedule around the pets I’m looking after. 🐾 I make sure I have plenty of time for each pet so visits and walks never feel rushed. I’m flexible wherever possible and will work with you to keep your pet’s normal routine consistent, whether that’s feeding times, walks, medication or simply their favourite cuddle time! 💚 I provide loving, personalised care while keeping your pet happy and comfortable in their familiar surroundings. 🐾 I follow their usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding, fresh water, toilet breaks, walks, playtime, cuddles and medication where required. Every pet is different, so their care is tailored to their individual needs and personality. I’ll also send you regular photo and video updates, so you can relax knowing your pet is safe, happy and receiving plenty of love and attention while you’re away. 💚

I have a fenced garden so your dog will be safe at all times. I work downstairs so your dog will have company at all times as well :)

About: I have grown up with rescue cats all my life and love them more than life itself! I couldn’t imagine living without a fluffy companion by my side. My dad was allergic to dogs so despite years of begging, a dog wasn’t allowed, so instead I would go out and walk other people’s dogs around the neighbourhood just to spend some time with mans best friend. As an animal lover and a holiday lover I know how important it is to find someone you trust to look after your furry friends whilst you get some R&R. I am lucky to be able to work remote with my ‘9-5’ (flexible hours) so am able to meet most of your pets needs :) I am lucky enough to be able to work remote with my ‘9-5’ (flexible hours) so I am able to attend to most of your pets needs, whether that be long or multiple walks, toilet breaks, or special requests. I am able to drive (clean license) so can commute to wherever you live. I also live local to woods & fields so would love to take your curious pets to new locations. I am clean & well-mannered, and will always clean up after your pet whilst they are in my care.

“Katie is an excellent dog walker, flexible, punctual and attentive. A very experienced dog carer with a wide range of breeds. We had multiple walks over 2 months from which Katie provided details of the walks with pictures. Bertie loved his walks and also the odd run. Can't recommend Katie highly enough.”

“Thanks Kirsten, that was a walk and a half! They are both happy and don’t seem to be upset by being left so this is a great solution to occasional dog sitting. The report, map and photos were very reassuring.”

About: My friend and I absolutely love spending time with dogs. We have plenty of experience caring for them having previously had a dog (Poodle) for 11 years and really enjoy getting to know each dogs unique personality. We currently look after 2 dogs on a weekly basis and would like to branch into paid dog walking and sitting. I am currently working full time between 8:30 and 4:30 but have good availability after these hours and generally have a free schedule on weekends. I currently live in a flat with a balcony area and have plenty of space for your dog to run about or relax. We also own a car so if caring for your dog is easier in your home travelling is not a issue at all.

“Alex and his family have been incredible! Simba is still a pup and it was our first time leaving him with a boarder. Alex allowed us to have a play day to ease Simba into their home before his stay for a week. Since, Simba has had a few sleepovers and absolutely loves Alex and his children! We were kept updated with regular messages and photographs. Simba loved his walks! Honestly could not recommend Alex enough, Simba was loved by the whole family just like he was their own dog. We will be using Alex for the foreseeable future! Thank you for making us feel at ease, Simba adores you all!”
