“Hayley and her family were just perfect for our pup. We have a 3month old English bull terrier who stayed for 7 days. Thoughout the whole process we received many daily pupdates in the form of messages, pictures and videos which made it so much easier. Being a pup he had some learning to do, which Hayley listened carefully to our wants, as well as did her own research to help him have the best stay. As he was teething he did have an upset tummy which they sorted out respectfully and she even did research on the best things to support and let us choose so he got better quick. We have now collected a pup who was cared for so lovingly and has come back more social and calm! He was even given some good bye presents which really was the cherry on top of the perfect week. About: We have had family dogs for the last 11 years, we currently have 2 bearded collies, Merlin (11yrs) and Griffon (5yrs) and they are regular visitors to our new home we recently purchased! There is plenty of room for fun in the fenced garden and other very friendly dogs in the neighbourhood we may bump into on walks. I work from home so there will always be someone around for your furry friend. I work remotely full time, however I have a very active lifestyle and go for walks in the morning, lunch times and evenings. I also have a flexible work schedule and with enough notice can make day time walks work if required Our family dogs do not live with us, they are with my in-laws, however as retired parents should be, they are very keen travellers and we are very happy dog sitters! As mentioned, we have a fenced in garden and lots of surrounding areas for dog walks. I work from home so am around to monitor and keep fluffy friends company.

He is not a good eater but Lidia managed to get him to eat twice a day which shows he must have been very relaxed. “Sebastian was amazing with Nala! She stayed overnight and really enjoyed herself with his dog Bao, they have become best friends 🥰 They played for hours and Nala had great fun! About: As a toddler, I learnt to walk with the help of my family's gorgeous golden retriever. I now live on a narrowboat and move around East and North East London, spending my time walking around Lea Valley Park, Hackney Marshes and Victoria Park with various furry friends, some of whom also enjoy stays on my boat. While I don't have a private garden, I do always have the towpath and usually a big park right on my doorstep. I work freelance from home as a translator, so my day-to-day is very flexible. Whether there's a dog staying or not, my days always start with a walk or a run around my local green space. I love being outdoors so would welcome dogs who need longer and/or more frequent walks, but am also happy to provide cuddles and a calm environment at home. My boat has a comfy sofa and space for a crate if required. While I don't have my own private garden, I have easy access to the towpath and am usually a stone's throw from one of East/North-East London's parks.

100% recommend!! What a fantastic couple couldnt of wished for a better stay for my dog. Every need for my dog was met with ease not a worry from me as we had beautiful photos of him playing with the other dogs boarding, out on walks and even chilling in their garden. If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
