About: Hello, I'm Polly, and I love cats and dogs! I have grown up with cats my whole life and am a cat mum to a chunky, beautiful Lilac British Shorthair called Herb. He is very spoiled and is the king of the house. I also have experience with caring for dogs too through family pets and would be more than happy to drop in to care for your dog and take them on walks when needed. I am an events manager for a children's charity and mainly work from home, so I can be flexible with visits.

About: I have hands-on experience caring for dogs of different breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I understand that every dog has its own routine, personality, and needs, and I always adapt my care accordingly. What sets me apart is my calm, patient, and responsible approach. I am especially confident with: • Senior dogs who need gentle walks, medication reminders, and close observation • Anxious or shy dogs, giving them time to feel comfortable and safe • Puppies, supporting basic routines such as feeding schedules, toilet breaks, and leash manners I provide regular photo and video updates, so owners feel reassured while they are away. Safety, trust, and respecting the dog’s usual routine are my top priorities. I care for pets in their own home, where they feel most relaxed and secure. I am available for daytime visits, regular walks, and overnight stays in my home. I plan my day to ensure dogs receive timely walks, feeding, playtime, and companionship, while maintaining their usual routine as closely as possible. I prioritise safety, trust, and a calm environment. I follow the owner’s instructions exactly, maintaining their dog’s usual routine for feeding, exercise, and rest. I make sure the home remains clean, organised, and safe, removing any potential hazards and ensuring that pets feel comfortable and relaxed.
About: I've had my dog for 8 years (she's a gorgeous black lab!) and have taken care of her since she was a puppy. For the first two years of her life we attended gun dog training together so I have a good understanding of how to properly look after and train a puppy. Of course it goes without saying that plenty of love, cuddles, enrichment play and walks are also super important, something which I also have plenty of experience in! In particular my dog loves to play hide and seek with her toys around our house! I work fully remotely so I'm really able to cater to your pets needs and keep them company so they don't get lonely. I am very used to the routine of having a dog/pet so feel very comfortable with getting up early to let them out, taking them for a walk first thing in the morning etc. I can be super flexible with my job so I really can adopt your routine to keep your dog happy and calm with the consistency they're used to. I have a secure garden with a fence around the perimeter. There is a stream at the bottom but this is also fenced off securely.
“Our pup Kina had a great couple of walks with Ffion! She was very easy to communicate with and was flexible to fit our schedule. Kina obviously loves her walks with Ffion and we have no reservations having her look after Kina in the future.”

About: I may not have formal “professional” experience yet, but I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life, from pugs to German Shepherds, and have always loved caring for them. I’ve looked after my own two dogs, who are 13 and 8 years old, so I’m very comfortable with the day-to-day care, routines and different needs that come with looking after dogs. I’m hoping this is the beginning of a future career working with animals, as my long-term dream is to become fully qualified and eventually have my own doggy daycare. I’m excited to gain more experience, meet lots of lovely dogs and, most importantly, make sure every dog I look after feels happy, safe and well cared for 🐾 I’m currently working full time but work from home Mondays and Fridays. My weekends are free and I can usually be available in the evenings too :) I am only able to to have one pet in my own home as I live with my parents, but if offering care in your house I will treat it with the utmost respect and according to whatever rules you set!

About: What sets me apart is my flexibility and genuine love for animals. I work from home, so I can provide care throughout the day, including for pets that need extra attention or companionship. I'm also able to drive, making it easy for me to travel to your home. I've cared for pets with separation anxiety, high-energy dogs that need long walks, and pets that require more frequent care and supervision. I'll always make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away. Working from home allows me to provide flexible, attentive care throughout the day. Whether your pet needs multiple walks, regular playtime, companionship, or extra supervision, I can easily adapt to their routine. I understand that some pets experience separation anxiety, so I'm happy to spend extra time with them to help them feel calm, safe, and comfortable while you're away. Every pet receives plenty of love, patience, and individual attention. While I'm unable to host pets in my own home because I have a cat, I'm happy to care for your pet in the comfort of their own home. Staying in a familiar environment helps reduce stress and keeps your pet in their usual routine. I'll make sure they receive plenty of attention, playtime, walks (if needed), and lots of love while you're away.

I know how important it is for pets to feel comfortable in their own home, so I always try to keep their usual routine as much as possible. I’ll treat your home with the same care and respect as I would my own, and I’ll take the time to build trust with your pets so they feel relaxed and happy while you’re away. About: I have always looked after animals, stray cats who need feeding, or my friends elderly dog. Being a primary teacher, I have experience in caring for animals and children, but pets are definitely easier! I am a supply teacher so can be very flexible with my schedule. I just have a permanent slot Tuesday and Wednesday, but could change with notice. I am very flexible and can care for your pet however you feel comfortable. My fur baby roams my house and sits on my bed and sofa, I can meet your needs.
About: I'm a remote worker with a flexible schedule, which means I can commit properly to house sits. There's no rushing back and forth, and no leaving pets alone for long stretches. Since I work from wherever I am, your home and animals get consistent company and attention throughout the day. I grew up around animals of all kinds, including dogs, cats, horses, rabbits and more, so caring for pets isn't new to me, it's second nature. On the dog side specifically, I've got hands on experience across the full size spectrum, from sausage dogs to Great Danes, so whether you've got a lap sized companion or a gentle giant, I know how to look after them properly, from exercise needs to feeding routines and everything in between. I have my own car, so I'm happy to travel to sits further afield, handle vet runs or emergencies if needed. I also offer cleaning as an additional service ahead of your arrival home. I'm happy to provide references on request. I'm an active person, so pet care fits naturally into my day. I like to start with a walk before my working day begins, then fit in another towards the end of the day, adjusting timing and length depending on each pet's exercise needs. Throughout the working day itself, since I'm remote, pets have company and I'm on hand for feeding, playtime, or anything else that comes up. Whether I'm in a pet owner's home or my own, my priority is keeping to the animal's normal routine as closely as possible. Changes in environment can be unsettling for pets, so I make a point of sticking to their usual feeding times, walk schedule, and any habits they're used to, rather than imposing my own. Before a sit, I like to go through everything with the owner: feeding amounts, any medication, behavioural quirks, vet details, and emergency contacts, so I'm fully prepared and know exactly what to do if something unexpected comes up. I treat the home with the same care and respect I'd want shown to my own, keeping it secure, tidy, and exactly as I found it. I'm happy to send regular updates and photos during a sit, so owners have peace of mind while they're away. And since I have my own car, I can get to a vet quickly if there's ever an emergency.
About: Hi Everyone, I know how important it is to have your furry family members looked after when you’re away from home. It can be a very anxious time. I decided to offer a dog sitting service so I could help other owners like me have a trusted and experienced animal lover look after their dogs with the love and care they deserve. Speaking from experience, when you're away from home, you want to know your fur babies are being loved and treated as if you were there! My mum, Jackie has joined me on this venture and so no matter what, we will always be available to help! We both work remotely in Finance and luckily have extremely flexible hours to suit your needs. We have 4 cats of our own (Luther, Wilbur, Phoebe and Doris). We rarely ever call them by their names as we’re always talking silly with them! Luther is a diabetic so we’re experienced with administering medication and injections. We also have 2 dogs that are rescues from Romania! I’ve previously volunteered at Blue Cross helping the various cats and kittens - such a memorable experience! We’re happy to cover Baldock and many surrounding areas so do get in touch. Your furry guys will be treated as if they were our own and I can tell you now ... they live better than we do!! :) During our visits, we would spend as much time as needed making sure your doggos were happy. We'd have a long play and a cuddle but along with that would go feeding, water bowl changing, giving treats (if allowed of course!) and pictures and video updates while you’re away. We will happily provide the best service that will keep your mind at ease about your fur baby. We will also send multiple updates per day as well as adorable pictures of your adorable pup!

“Katie's been brilliant! She sent me videos and pictures of Boni having fun on her walks and she was always on time. Definitely recommend her and will book further walks for Boni. Thank you very much Katie!”

About: I have been lucky enough to share my life with pets since I was little. My family currently consists of me, my partner, our two cats and two gerbils (so those relationships need managing well!) I regularly look after other animals as well including cats, kittens, dogs, puppies, and rabbits. The tasks I do when caring for them include feeding, playing, cleaning, cleaning up after, walking, and cuddling! I am attentive and always aim to ensure the pets are healthy, and feel loved and happy. I work from home and my schedule is very flexible and determined by me, so I have plenty of time to set aside to care for your animal(s)! I am adaptable, so should you wish me come to your house to care for your pet(s) I will ensure I have a full list of any requirements so they are well cared for. If you wish for your pet to stay with me in my home, they can socialise with my fur babies or I can keep them in separate rooms from my cats if necessary. If you have a dog that sleeps in a crate I am happy to accommodate that too.

Dog owners share their Rover experiences – Royston
In advance of Buttercup's first proper booking, Dajana was kind enough to offer a meet and greet, which really put my mind at rest. This was followed by a fantastic evening for Buttercup at Dajana's that truly wore her out. It was obvious that she was being looked after beautifully, and it was a wonderful moment for me to see her from a distance being walked by Dajana on a perfect loose lead (this is not always the case with me! ;)). We're really looking forward to our next booking.

Charlotte wonderfully stepped in for last minute dog walking when I hurt myself and couldn't take my high energy dogs out for walks. Both Ripley and Wilson immediately were best buds with her and her lovely dog Roy. My mind was at complete ease knowing they were in safe hands with Charlotte and would gladly use her again in a heartbeat.
