About: I have plenty of experience with cats. I previously lived in a house share with a rescued cat, who I helped care for daily. My mum has a cat, and I regularly look after him whenever my mum is on holiday or when they come to visit me. In addition, I often help neighbours by providing house-sitting services for their cats — feeding them, cleaning litter trays, and spending time playing with them to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for.

“Zoe looked after my boys wonderfully and was extremely caring and attentive to their needs. I got daily updates about them including pictures and descriptions and felt so well communicated with. Would highly recommend zoe for your pet care and will absolutely be booking again for future trips!”

“Shannon is a fantastic pet and house sitter, we had a long holiday and Shannon looked after our fur baby for 17 days. Everything was well looked after in our home and most importantly our cat was relaxed and happy and enjoyed Shannon's company. We would highly recommend Shannon to anyone looking for a great pet sitter.”

“Laura was a great cat sitter, followed our instructions that we left for her around Jamu's diet, kitty litter etc and watered the plants while we were away. Won't hesitate to book Laura again in the future”

About: Hi, I’m Jackie—a proud cat lady with 25+ cats loved over the years! I offer friendly, stress-free cat sitting and drop-in visits for holidays, short breaks, or a helping hand. Local, trustworthy & fully insured—your cats are in safe hands 🐾

“Thank you Julie for looking after our cat over the Christmas break while we were away. I believe Zuma definitely enjoyed her stay with you, and thank you for the picture and video updates.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for the past 3 years now and have grown up having pets all my life. I love animals and am very comfortable being around them. I enjoy walking them, feeding them and playing with them. I believe we need our furry friends more than they need us. They are the most precious living things and deserve all the love and care in the world. Having a pet at home is second nature to me. I love animals so fitting pet care into my routine is something I look forward to doing. I am available full-time on the weekends. During the week, I work from home and my working hours are very flexible. Rest assured I will take care of your pets like they are my own. I am open to petsitting at my home or yours house, or to just come over as and when needed to feed, walk or play with them. My neighbourhood is very pet-friendly, with a big field and a country park just a 5 minute walk away. I provide lots of updates with pictures and videos. I check in regularly with owners throughout the pet boarding or sitting period with complete transparency.
About: I have my own dog (golden retriever called Layla, who is almost 3) I also work in a kennels and cattery. I am happy to work with all types of dogs and cats. I can feed them and administer any medication needed. I currently have a lunch break of 3.5 hours in the day. So I have plenty of time to play, walk or feed your pets if needed. I have a fully fenced garden and a friendly and playful golden retriever to keep your dog company. If needed I can separate the dogs.
About: As someone that has almost always worked from home, I've been looking after dogs for family and friends for more than five years, and I have my own dog Murphy, a sprocker spaniel, whom I could not be without. He absolutely LOVES running, is ball-obsessed and is learning to do agility! I work as a freelance translator. Working entirely from my laptop, it can be a lonely job; however, because I never meetings to attend or hour-by-hour deadlines to meet, it is very flexible. This is why I have decided to join Rover so that I can fit my work around doing something else that I love: looking after dogs! I will listen carefully to your dogs needs and respect any boundaries that you prefer. For example, I love my dog to pieces, but he's not allowed upstairs or fully on the sofa (front paws only!).
“Sambor came and gave my dog time, care and play when I was at work - he always sent pictures and it was clear from first meeting that my dog felt happy and safe with him. Really grateful and would recommend.”
About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. My love for them, combined with my passion for walking, led me to start my Dog Walking Business with my daughter, Holly. Before this, I spent 17 years as a nurse, caring for people with dedication and compassion. Now, I bring that same level of care and responsibility to the pets I look after. We offer more than just dog walking—we provide pet sitting and drop-in visits to ensure animals feel safe and loved while their owners are away. Whether it’s a lively Labrador needing an energetic walk or a shy cat needing gentle reassurance at home, I treat every pet as if they were my own. My nursing background has given me a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail, which I now apply to caring for animals, ensuring they are happy, healthy, and well looked after. I am available Monday to Saturday 8am to 6pm but, I can be flexible if required. We can work out a schedule that suits you and your pet, as I know how important it is to continue with yours pet’s usual routine. I will be with your pet an all times either in your home, garden or when they are out and about having a walk, ensuring they are safe and happy at all times, as your dogs welfare is my priority.

I understand that every dog has its own routine, personality, and needs, and I always adapt my care accordingly. What sets me apart is my calm, patient, and responsible approach. Also have lots of knowledge on pet health as my mum works within a veterinary practice. I usually work from home Monday - Friday so am very flexible in terms of free time. “Brilliant! The level of communication was perfect & the photos reassured us that all was well. Tofi is only 4 months so we asked a friend to house sit & Charlotte walked Tofs twice a day. We will definitely use Charlotte again as we felt confident that she would look after her.”

About: I've had my dog for 8 years (she's a gorgeous black lab!) and have taken care of her since she was a puppy. For the first two years of her life we attended gun dog training together so I have a good understanding of how to properly look after and train a puppy. Of course it goes without saying that plenty of love, cuddles, enrichment play and walks are also super important, something which I also have plenty of experience in! In particular my dog loves to play hide and seek with her toys around our house! I work fully remotely so I'm really able to cater to your pets needs and keep them company so they don't get lonely. I am very used to the routine of having a dog/pet so feel very comfortable with getting up early to let them out, taking them for a walk first thing in the morning etc. I can be super flexible with my job so I really can adopt your routine to keep your dog happy and calm with the consistency they're used to. I have a secure garden with a fence around the perimeter. There is a stream at the bottom but this is also fenced off securely.
“Kayleigh was amazing with Bianca. She understands the need of rescue dog and provides lots of space for the dog to come around. We would continue our bookings with Kayleigh in the future :)”

About: I was raised in the midst of animals; growing up alongside them has instilled in me an understanding of how to take care of them - our Miniature Poodle, Kaya, is now 5 years old, but before we had her, I took care of a pair of pet rats, and we raised 5 chickens from chicks to egg laying hens. I've always enjoyed walking Kaya; I love the outdoors, the wild, and I appreciate the need to make time for yourself - time such as walking, sometimes enjoying such a walk with a smaller companion. When not walking, I have lots of work to do on my computer, which I will happily work on while sitting the house and attending to your pets needs! Since I'm a Film Production University Student, my schedule isn't fixed. However, I am available at least in most evenings, and every other weekend. I update my schedule regularly to keep you all informed. I'm currently in University Accommodation so I won't be able to house pets at my home, but I can attend to the pets social and physical needs as required, even if they leave a mess around!

I’m happy to cater to your pets needs, whether it’s staying in and keeping them company, or taking them for long walks. I’m happy around all pets of all sizes!

I’m currently on maternity leave so have a lot free time to care for your furry babies!
