7K Daily Walks |WFH| Secure Garden
We’re a Swedish couple in our 30s who have grown up with dogs and have loved being around them our whole lives. We recently said goodbye to our beloved 11 year-old Sheltie, and while we’re not quite ready for another dog of our own yet, we’d love to share our home, time and long walks with yours. We usually have multiple dogs staying with us, including a few regulars who sometimes join us at short notice, so your dog will likely have company. We’ve found this works really well for social dogs, but we completely understand it’s not the right fit for everyone. Emil works from home full-time, which means your dog will have company throughout the entire day. No long hours alone, no rushed walks, just steady, calm presence and attention. Our daily routine: 🥾 Minimum 7 km of walking per day, or two separate 4 km walks - depending on your dog’s needs and your preference. We also do a couple of shorter village walks each day. 🌦️ Walks happen in all weather (rain, snow, wind - we’re Scandinavian, we don’t cancel for drizzle) whilst still remaining cautious in hot weather. 🌾 Access to miles of fields, woodland and footpaths right from our doorstep in the North Eastern corner of Stanstead Abbotts, Ware 🏡 Unlimited toilet breaks in our large, fully fenced private garde 🐕 We live in a ground-floor flat with a secure garden and direct access to open countryside - perfect for both energetic explorers and relaxed sniffers. We’re happy to: * Continue any training routines * Work on lead manners or basic commands * Administer medication if needed * Follow specific feeding or care instruction 🚙 If your dog is comfortable in the car, we often bring them along on errands so they’re not left alone unnecessarily. 📸 We know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone else. That’s why we send daily updates as standard — with plenty of photos and videos — and we’re always happy to send more or less based on your preference. Whether your dog loves long hikes, gentle countryside strolls, playing in the garden, or just having a calm companion nearby, we’ll adapt to them. 100% recommend!! What a fantastic couple couldnt of wished for a better stay for my dog. Every need for my dog was met with ease not a worry from me as we had beautiful photos of him playing with the other dogs boarding, out on walks and even chilling in their garden. Even in this heat he was happy and spoiled. This was my very first experience leaving my dog through ROVER and with this experience I’ll be more then happy to booking again. 🤩
Emil and Livia were absolutely amazing with Rio and I couldn’t be happier with the care they provided. As a newbie to this app I was a little nervous handing him over to new people, but upon meeting them I knew they were great people and very knowledgeable about dogs. They were accommodating, took the time to get to know him and made sure he was always happy. I received multiple pics throughout his stay, where I could clearly see he was having the best time. He came home a very happy pup. Thank you!
Really lovely couple who treated my dog as their own. They are experienced and like long walks. I received plenty of photos and videos of my dog looking happy and enjoying himself. Couldn’t ask for more.
I cannot rate Emil highly enough. He and his wife walked our beloved 3 year old Cocker Ted while we went on a short break. My parents were looking after him but they aren't able to give Ted the long walk that he needs every day. Emil sent us photos from every walk and we could see he was having such fun and being very well looked after, so it put our minds at rest so we could enjoy our break. This lovely couple even took the time to meet me before I committed to the booking. Thanks so much we'll definitely ask you to walk him again.
Emil and Lovisa were an amazing last minute accommodation for my little lady! They provided frequent updates with great communication. Super active and attentive for your pups needs, even going as far as to work on Gigi’s recall and building off-leash trust with her. Thank you guys so much, will definitely be returning 😊
Emil and Lovisa were absolutely amazing dog sitters! We left our three miniature Dachshunds—Daphne, Poppy, and Hamish—with them while we took a short break to Stockholm, and we couldn't have asked for better care. What really impressed us was how they catered to each dog's individual personality and needs: Poppy and Hamish: Received the longer, energetic walks they love to burn off their energy. Daphne: Since she prefers a slower pace, they gave her shorter strolls and made sure she got the extra cuddles she craves. We were kept completely at ease throughout our trip thanks to the regular updates and lovely photos of their walks. It was so reassuring to see them looking so happy and settled. If you are looking for sitters who truly understand dogs and provide personalized attention, we cannot recommend Emil and Lovisa enough. We will definitely be booking with them again!

Schedule
I work from home and we’re used to going on walks all times of the day. We have recently taken care of our elder dog where frequent toilet breaks were needed day and night.

A typical day
We are easily adjustable to your pets needs. We have puzzles, activity games and we live just on the edge of miles of countryside, fields and footpaths where we do our daily walks.
