About: I previously had a wonderful senior dog, so I understand that not every dog wants (or can manage) long walks. As he got older, we adapted his routine to suit him, with shorter, gentler walks and plenty of time to sniff and explore at his own pace. He was also deaf in his later years, so I became very aware of how important it is to approach dogs calmly and thoughtfully to avoid startling them. That experience taught me to be patient. Whether your dog is young and full of energy or enjoying their senior years, I'll always take the time to get to know them and make sure they feel safe, comfortable and happy. I'll be available Friday to Sunday evenings, making me a great option for weekend walks, drop-in visits or evening care. I'll always make sure your pet gets the time, attention and care they deserve, and I'll keep you updated throughout. Your pet's safety and happiness will always come first. I have a fully fenced, secure garden where dogs can safely enjoy some outdoor time. I'll always follow your pet's usual routine, whether that's feeding times, medication, favourite walking routes or any little quirks that make them unique. I understand that every pet is different, so I'll take the time to get to know them and make sure they feel safe, comfortable and loved while they're in my care.
“10/10! Pablo was so well looked after, we felt so comfortable with him staying with Angelika from the moment we dropped him off. We received regular updates and photos. Will 100% be reaching out to book him in for holidays again! Thank you 😊”

“This is my 4th review, I included more detail previously, but at this point, I’d just say that, Lauren and Matt’s place is Brooklyn’s (my dog’s) second home. Simply the best!”

“This was the first time that we had left Freyja with Fiona and I’m so glad we did! Freyja had a wonderful weekend and Fiona was so good at sending us pictures and updates. I will definitely book for Freyja to stay again - thanks so much Fiona!!”

“Humphrey had another great stay with Nathalie and her family. Nathalie sends lovely updates and photos and he has a great time. Thanks Nathalie.. it’s great knowing he’s well cared for . 👍”

“Ted has another great stay with Alessia. Hes always very excited to see her and loves spending time with her. We always have regular updates and pictures on what Ted’s been up to and highly recommend Alessia.”

“This was the first time Shelley and Dave had looked after Mowbray and it went really well. They were very communicative, sending us lots of pictures and updates and also asked the right questions about how to look after him. Mowbray was very tired when he got home which is a good sign for us! :)”

“This was Neo's second stay with Jas and he had a great time! He's still a young pup so quite a handfull but Jas took great care of him, lots of play and socialising with his lovely dog Cookie. Not only I trust Jas fully with Neo's care but also he really is a nice person, nothing is a problem! We got daily updates and videos and Neo came home very happy. Highly recommend”

“Sarah and her adorable pugs took such wonderful care of our dog. We received regular updates, including photos and videos from her many nature walks, and when we returned, she seemed completely at home. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.”

About: Some of my earliest and kindest memories are of growing up with two amazing black labs. Not a year has gone by since without dogs playing a big part in my life. From having then as pets through to dogsitting as I grew up, I adore spending time with our furry four-legged friends. I have a friendly and sociable labradoodle called Ellie who will put any visiting friend at ease; be it playing in the garden or snoozing together on the sofa while I read. I'm currently working flexibly from home so am able to spend most of my day with your dog. I have several parks nearby where I can take them for walks however often they need, plus a back garden they can relax in. We have a very pet-friendly home (it was necessary for our own dog, Ellie!). The back garden is fenced with both sun and shade. I'll always tailor the environment to suit your dog, ensuring they are comfortable and happy while staying - be it a quiet space to sleep, or if they prefer sleeping in the bedroom with me.
“Unfortunately, just before our holiday, our dog had to have an operation. This meant that extra care was needed as Alfie had to wear a buster collar and go back to our vet to have his stitches out. Helen took all of this in her stride. She sent us an update every day and I was completely happy that he was in her safe hands. I would thoroughly recommend Helen to look after any dog. I will use her again without hesitation. Debbie & Alfie”

“Kellie and Andy were great and our black lab Alfie absolutely loved his time with them. They were very quick to reply and also asked questions to understand what Alfie needs in order to take best care of him. We got daily updates which were lovely - Alfie seemed so happy. It went so well that we’ve rebooked for our little boy to stay with them again. Would definitely recommend them, they are lovely 🐾 ♥️”

“Hi Karen, We would like to thank you for the great job you and your family did in looking after our three West Highland puppies (6 months old). They all seemed to have enjoyed there stay with you and were totally exhausted when we got them home, I don't think they are used to playing so much and having the luxury of running around a wonderful dog friendly garden, and with the addition of walks too. I would certainly recommend and i know the pups would like to come back in the future. A great experience and we certainly felt reassured leaving our boys with you.”

“We are so pleased to have met Sam and so are the kitties! She’s a lovely lady and so good with the cats. She is caring and so contentious, always on time and sends us updates on our furry babies. I can’t recommend her enough and we will keep Sam busy over the Summer 😊”

“Inga did a wonderful job looking after our lads again, with updates and photos every day. It's always so reassuring to know that we'll come back from holiday to two very well cared for and happy cats. She really is a star!”

“Another great cat sitting experience whilst we were away for over a week. Our lad had some health issues shortly before our holiday, and whilst he was back to normal before we left, Suzy kept updated on his habits and gave him lots of fuss to ensure we didn't worry.”

“Mel is an absolute amazing cat sitter! We were so happy to book her and knew she would be fantastic from the first meeting- she’s professional and so super caring. Our shy and timid cat loved Mel because she took care and time to get to know her and we were amazed at how playful our cat became when Mel took the time to get to know her over the week she looked after her. Highly recommend and you’ll be so lucky to have e Mel look after your cat, our cat loves her! Thank you Mel!”

“Charlotte took excellent care of Gunter, Evie and Gus. We received lovely photo and video updates after every visit, in which you could tell the cats loved her. That's the biggest seal of approval! We came home to well-looked after and happy cats, so a massive thank you to Charlotte. We'd absolutely book her again for future holidays.”

“Holly is by faw and away the best cat sitter we have ever had. Our cat is incredibbly difficult to look after and isn't particularly friendly. Holly put in a lot of effort to get to know Keo and won her over very quickly. Also, Keo required a daily tablet which has to be given to her orally, which is again, incredibly hard. She dealt with this really well and no trouble at all. We have tried 6 or so sitters and Holly was the only sitter that managed to look after Keo successfully. Thanks so much Holly!!”

“Amelia and Miles are lovely and Miles definitely has the magic touch, Oreo came right up to him to say hello the first time she met him, instead of hiding like she usually does! Oreo was well looked after.”

“We couldn’t be happier with the care our cat received! 🐾 We were away during some particularly hot weather, and our sitter did an amazing job of making sure he was comfortable and well looked after. He followed everything we’d asked, including opening the windows while he was there to help cool the flat down and giving him the frozen treats we’d left for him. He also went the extra mile by sorting out parcels that arrived while we were away, which we really appreciated and was such a lovely help. It was really reassuring knowing our cat was in such good hands while we were away. Everything we asked was taken care of, and we came home to a very happy and well looked after cat. 😊 We’d absolutely book with him again and would happily recommend him to anyone looking for someone reliable, caring and attentive to look after their cat. Thank you so much! 🐱❤️”

“Jessica was brilliant with our cat Nutmeg! We had detailed updates and photos each visit. It looks like Nutmeg really enjoyed the visits and was very happy when we got back. We definitely recommend and will be booking again!”

“Cheryl was fantastic—she sent frequent updates and photos, and even gracefully dealt with a few unexpected situations. Our cats clearly liked her too, as one kept trying to go home with her! Thank you very much, Cheryl.”

“Sophie was brilliant our cat Nutmeg, we got detailed updates and lots of photos after every visit. Sounds like Nutmeg enjoyed lots of fuss and play. She even took our bins out for us and watered the plants! We definitely recommend and will book again! 😊”

“Alex is wonderful! She was so attentive and caring with our Labrador and took the time to meet us before hand to talk through what we needed and ti meet Parker. We will absolutely Alex again. 😊”

“Kept me updated through the whole visit and gave him lots of cuddles and attention. A massive weight off my shoulders having such a trustworthy person checking on my little cat. Would 100% recommend x”

“We used Henry for a home visit and dog walk and he was great. His communication around the booking was great and he arrived on time. Henry sent photos and an update after the walk; this is the first time we've used Rover for our puppy so this put our minds at rest. We'll be using Henry again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.”

“I can't recommend Alessia enough for dog sitting! She took exceptional care of my Ralph during his first daycare with her. Her warm demeanor and genuine love for dogs made me feel at ease. Ralph came back happy and well-adjusted, which speaks volumes about her attention to detail and affection. I’ll definitely be booking her again for future dog sitting! 5 stars all around! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟”

“A fantastic dog sitter who was so accommodating and kind. This is our second time booking and we will definitely be booking again. We were updated throughout the day with photos and a couple of videos and it was so lovely to see. She is very responsive to messages and has taken superb care of our boy. Thank you again! He had the best day 🐶 🐾 ❤️”

About: Hiii, I have had dogs my whole life and love learning their weird little characters. I’m well versed in medicine and special care due to precious pets having specific needs. I work from home full time and am a very active person and love walks. I know what it feels like having to trust someone with your pet and how scary it can be. So I can send you as many pictures and videos of your little doggie and help make you feel safe with your choice . I’ve got a little Noodle myself who will also take care of your doggie. Hiya! I am lucky enough to work from home and usually set 2 hours free everyday to go to the gym. I walk my own dog for 1hr plus everyday and can cater for longer and shorter walks depending on the pet. My whole day is orientated around my own doggie and therefore nothing will change when looking after yours. My home is big enough to adventure around and can allow your dog its own personal space if they want that. I have a garden which is accessible all day and the doors are always open so that they have access to play whenever they want. I have a forest and field behind my home which is perfect for walking. I sometimes have to go to the office on a Wednesday morning and am back at lunchtime, however, I have a friend and neighbours that checks in on my dog and can do the same when pet sitting if needs be. I have a good size garden and a massive forest and fields behind my house. Which is absolutely amazing and can cater for doggies that are scared of car journeys. I have a little sausage that is very playful and loves other dogs and would love to have a little friend join her :)). The patio doors are open all day long to allow for doggies to come in and out when wanted. I have a two storey home however don’t allow my own dog to run up and down the stairs. She does however come up with me at night and stay with me in the bed. She is more than happy to share her sleep space but if doggies prefer to be alone they can have whatever space they need in the house. We can cater for any weird habits your dog has picked up or any requirements that are needed. :))

About: I grew up with cats. My GSD Bruno recently crossed the rainbow bridge. I am not ready to get another dog yet. I have so much love to give to your pup or kitty. I have been pet sitting & dog walking for years. I love being around animals. I am retired US Army. I volunteer from time to time, but my days revolve around the animals I care for. I love being out in nature with a dog companion. My schedule is very flexible. I have a fenced yard and my home is pet friendly, no room or furniture is off limits. I will send videos & photos of your pet & keep you updated while you are away.
“Rosie had a lovely day with Shelley & family, I'm sure she also enjoyed their aircon in this heat! She looked smiley when I dropped her off and smiley when I picked her up & I appreciated the pictures and video :)”

About: We have both been around dogs for as long as I can remember and have cared for all kinds of personalities — from bouncy, energetic walkers to calm, cuddly sofa companions. Friends, family and neighbours have trusted me to walk, feed and look after their dogs, and I genuinely love spending time with them. We have my own rescue pup who is around 7 years old and happy to have company. We are reliable, patient and always make sure dogs feel safe, happy and relaxed while their owners are away. Whether your dog needs long sniffy walks, playtime, routine and structure, or just plenty of fuss and reassurance, they’ll be treated like one of our own. We offer home boarding in a relaxed, family environment where dogs are truly part of the household. We work opposite shifts meaning dogs are never left for long periods and always have company, routine and attention. We are very lucky to have various outdoor areas around our house that dogs can explore freely. It is secure so even on hot days where a walk isn’t possible, we have a large secure sheltered paddock where we can walk and play with the dogs. I am a wellbeing dog handler for Hertfordshire fire and rescue so I have had the best training from dogs trust in various areas and have up to date skills and knowledge from all up to date research. Daily walks/play and cuddles are absolutely non-negotiable. Your dog’s safety, comfort and happiness are our top priorities. Our home has ample space, including additional separate areas if a dog needs extra room, quiet time or a slower introduction. We have a 9-year-old dog, Rolo, who is playful, friendly and happy to have company with the right introduction. All introductions are done calmly and carefully, and dogs are never left unattended together. If needed, dogs can be comfortably separated in their own space. We follow routines closely, are careful with feeding, walks, doors and supervision, and we always provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your dog is safe, settled and well cared for.

“Henry was great. Friendly and flexible. Sent loads of information and pictures of their walks. Worked on some training skills too. Capably handheld our dog who has reactivity issues. Would recommend and definitely use him again.”

About: I loved being a dog mum, & I really do know how important it is, to have someone you whole-heartedly trust…. I will ensure I am at home with no other work planned whilst boarding your dog. I have a whole lifespan of dog experience from puppy training, exercising and engaging adolescent energy to elderly care. I grew up with three dogs from a little Lasa Apso to an Old English Gent, with a Corgi Mix in-between. I have experience of fully training my own Cardigan Corgi in the past, the most loyal soul and truly the “goodest boy”. He had an exceptionally sweet character, a dog lover himself and somewhat of a celebrity in our area 🤎 He reached a great age and we had the best life together. He taught me so much, and is the reason I want to be around and care for dogs. WALKING and/or hiking: I am a qualified DofE walk leader for Hertfordshire, so I know the greatest adventures, terrain and many varied local routes. We can walk up to three times a day. With awareness and responsibility; I am a mindful and aware dog carer, especially in public places. Preemptive safety is always my priority. I build an engaging and thoughtful relationship with dogs, practicing communication and embedding routine. I talk to them and we learn together, getting to know each other. BOARDING: For me, owner communication is key, we will set up a meeting to gain an understanding of your dog and their daily routine, their specific requirements and ensure that they have as little disruption as possible whilst you are away. Your dog will be the main character, the whole story, it’s all about them! Most of all we will have fun. VISITS and playtime: A fully engaged and planned visit according to your needs; I will spend this time ensuring your dog knows they are a VIP and cared for. I use reaffirming language to create routine and build effective communication with your dog. I am able to make myself available for boarding 24/7; your dog will be with me and included in every part of my day. I have a good sized fully secure and 6ft fenced garden, I am able to safely transport them in my car with seat belts, a large hatchback area, and a soft cushioned bed in my vehicle. I will be caring for your dog only. For walks I will also only walk with one dog or two dogs maximum from the same family. I have a current valid DBS check.

From having then as pets through to dogsitting as I grew up, I adore spending time with our furry four-legged friends. About: I have spent my whole life around dogs and have in-depth experience in particular with terrier breeds, including their training and behavioural needs. I also have experience training pups both at home and at classes. I specifically have experience with: puppies, rescues, reactive, aged and muzzled dogs. I like to give dogs the best environment possible and cater to their needs, whether that be mental or physical stimulation, hugs and cuddles, their own individual space, training or companionship. Dogs are just as individual as us and no two dogs are the same. I am an outdoorsy person and live incredibly close to beautiful countryside so can provide some great walks. I am currently without a dog but this may change in the future when myself and my partner are ready to add to our little unit permanently. I also sometimes care for my family dog who is friendly and great with other dogs, should you ever want your dog to have a playmate. I have general availability on afternoons/evenings and weekends. I work full time but am also able to take occasional WFH days each week as and when, so I can build any walks or sitting needs/requests around this. I have: a fenced in garden with a 6ft gate (mix of grass and patio), currently a large sized dog crate, dog beds, blankets, toys, bowls, spare leads (including 10m long lead for recall training), spare collars, ball thrower and food. I also have a dog whistle should your dog be trained to one. My car has two doggy seatbelts and the back seats have a full cover over them. I will shortly also be looking to do a dog first aid training course.
“We couldn't recommend Holly enough. She walked our weimaraner two consecutive days. She kept us updated and sent us photos of the walks. We met her beforehand and Simba immediately took to. She handled him confidently and Simba loved her. We would 💯 use Holly again, thank you.”

“This was my first time using Rover. I needed to find someone to walk my 6 month old puppy. From the beginning Alejandra filled me with confidence that she would be trustworthy and take very good care of our dog. I would definitely recommend and request to book Alejandra again. Thank you!”

“Walked my dog for me very last minute as I was feeling unwell, Bru had a brilliant time and Shelley was lovely and communicated throughout. Thank you so much x”

“Anna has been walking Ollie regularly for a few months now and he always has the best time. He is the most excited dog in the world whenever he sees Anna at the door! Anna is fantastic, very reliable and keeps in touch. She has also had Ollie to board as we knew he would love to spend more time with her.”

“Emily has been absolutely fantastic! She stepped in to help walk Forrest while I recovered from knee surgery, and I couldn’t have asked for a better dog walker. She was incredibly responsive from the start and took the time to get to know Forrest and understand his needs. Emily was always punctual, reliable, and diligent—she never once let us down. Forrest absolutely adored her and looked forward to seeing her every morning. He always came back completely knackered, so I knew he’d had a great walk and plenty of exercise. I think he will miss her a lot! Emily also made sure to send us regular updates, which gave us so much peace of mind. I’d highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and professional dog walker. Thank you, Emily!”

“Jessica walked our dog Mikey while we were away for a couple days. She was always very easy to communicate with, sent lots of pictures and made us feel at ease. Will be using her in the future. ;)”

About: I have grown up with pets my whole life, from hamsters to cats, and more recently I grew up with two lovely black labradors - Charley and Flo. I do miss having dogs around so am keen to share my love for animals with others. Whether it’s a walk around the block or staying over I would love to help out. I fit my schedule around what is best for your dog as I know many have their preferred routine. Whether that’s walking at certain times or eating at 3pm on the dot! Your dog will feel like it is at home. With toilet breaks around the clock and being played with to keep them entertained along with lovely long walks in the local green spaces, I will do my utmost best to make sure they are happy.

“Lydia was great, we felt very at ease leaving our German Shepherd in her care while we were away. She did everything we asked of her and more and was always professional, friendly and polite. Took fantastic care of our dog who was very happy with her. Would not hesitate to recommend Lydia! Will definitely rebook. Thank you”

“Ted has another great stay with Alessia. Hes always very excited to see her and loves spending time with her. We always have regular updates and pictures on what Ted’s been up to and highly recommend Alessia.”

“Claire is Amazing! From the moment we had our meet and greet she was so kind and welcoming. Her love of dogs was obvious and she did not treat Freddie with anything but love. He had the most amazing time and got spoilt rotten. Lots of daily photos keeping us up to date on how much fun Freddie was having and helped us out with timings during pick up. I could not recommend you more highly and I have no doubt in my mind it’s you who we will ask to have Freddie if we go away! Thank you”

“Jess was absolutely fantastic with our dog, Margot. We received regular updates and photos, and we could clearly see that Margot was having a great time with Jess and Pepper. Jess took Margot on some lovely walks and did some lovely activities with her, but she was also very understanding and respectful of our requests for caring for Margot. We highly recommend Jess.”

“Alex was outstanding in her care and attention to our Bailey. He clearly had a wonderful time and came home a contented boy! She kept in contact during his stay with pictures and we felt happy knowing he was safe and being looked after. We have no hesitation in recommending Alex and her 5 ⭐️ care.”

“We recently used Zoe for the first time to look after our 7-month-old puppy, and she was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we met her, she was so friendly and welcoming, which instantly put us at ease. During his stay, Zoe sent us regular updates and photos, so we always knew how he was getting on. It was lovely to see how happy and settled he was, and it was clear he was having the best time on his little holiday! We couldn't have asked for a better first experience and wouldn't hesitate to book with Zoe again. We'd highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable, and trustworthy dog sitter. Thank you so much, Zoe!”
