My schedule is very flexible and can work for your needs. My number one priority when caring for your pet is their wellbeing. I will be giving your pet 100% of my attention when they are in my care.

“Amy was absolutely lovely. She attended every day, took good care of our cat, and uploaded pictures and reports regularly. She built a good relationship with our picky kitty, so we will definitely try to hire her again for our next trip.”

“Callum did a great job of looking after GC and Reggie. From our first meeting to hand over keys, I felt like my cats were in good hands, as he had obviously read their profiles carefully and absorbed what was needed, and he also immediately bonded with GC, who can be a little tricky with new people. I appreciated his daily check ins and proactive communication when one of my cats wasn't present one feeding time. Also dealt with medication needs with no problem. Great cat sitter - would recommend to anyone looking in the area and will be in touch ahead of my next trip. Thanks Callum!”

“I highly recommend Naomi, she has been taking great care of my cat. I received photos and updates of her progress each day. My cat is extremely timid and Naomi has spent time with her winning her over and even managed to stroke her.”

Clare did a great job taking care of Coo for us while we were away. She sent us regular updates and pictures on how he was doing which we greatly appreciated. I highly recommend Clare if you’re looking for someone caring and trustworthy to care for your pet.

Jamie looked after our boy cat for the second time and he's clearly a big fan of her. As he's quite anxious, seeing photos of him sitting on her lap was just so amazing. She clearly has a way with cats and we couldn't be more grateful that we found her. Will definitely book again with her!
We cannot thank Amy enough for looking after Percy. It was our very first time seeking the help of a cat sitter and I'm glad we did. Percy was very comfortable with her, all we did was leave her with some instructions and the rest was all her. She communicates very well and we actually noticed she also did a bit of cleaning around Percy's area. Amazing service, I think we've found our regular cat sitter for when we need someone to look after Percy Highly recommend Amy! Thank you Amy!

Emma looked after Wilf and Chewie whilst we were going on what was to be quite an emotional trip. She was absolutely wonderful with our " fuss-cats ", she befriended them and sent us daily updates and videos. We came back to 2 happy chilled out cats..... Thank you so much Emma for your professionalism and attention to detail, 5 Star plus ....
Maria did a brilliant job looking after my two very wary cats over Christmas (and my stray). I had photos of them every day and everything was dealt with very efficiently and tidily. I really appreciated the little gift you left at the end too, as did Sootica and Sempra. I will definitely be in touch if I need a sitter again and would recommend to anyone, thank you. Xxx

Nikeisha was amazing with our cat Dimi! It was our first time using Rover so we were a little nervous leaving Dimi with someone new but the daily updates and photos she sent us really helped put our minds at ease. She was responsible, followed our instructions closely and our cat seems to have warmed up to her in no time. We would definitely book with her again!

Look for sitters who highlight multi-pet expertise or check for verified reviews from other Bedford pet parents with similar pet households.
Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Bedford choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:
- 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.
