Animal lover through and through
I'm a major animal lover (especially dogs) and have been since I was a child. I work shifts meaning I have large chunks of time off at a time and I also run an small business specialising in pet accessories due to my work I have a very flexible schedule. I have 2 mixed breed rescue dogs named Kenai & Diego, they love other dogs and are happiest when they are in their company. (They have lived with both smaller and larger dog breeds in the rescue centres where they came from and were friendly with all). I also have years of experience house/pet sitting for friends and family and looking after their dogs at my own home. I'm used to taking care of dogs of all shapes and sizes, and I enjoy creating a fun and safe environment for them to be in. When your dogs are staying with me, they are on holiday too! We cannot thank Amy enough for looking after Percy. It was our very first time seeking the help of a cat sitter and I'm glad we did. Percy was very comfortable with her, all we did was leave her with some instructions and the rest was all her. She communicates very well and we actually noticed she also did a bit of cleaning around Percy's area. Amazing service, I think we've found our regular cat sitter for when we need someone to look after Percy Highly recommend Amy! Thank you Amy!

Amy was absolutely lovely. She attended every day, took good care of our cat, and uploaded pictures and reports regularly. She built a good relationship with our picky kitty, so we will definitely try to hire her again for our next trip.
Highly recommended! Amy took excellent care of my cat while I was away. I received daily updates with photos and thoughtful notes, which made me feel completely at ease. I was pleasantly surprised that my cat—usually shy and quick to hide from new people—was friendly with Amy from day one. It gave me real peace of mind knowing she was in such kind and capable hands. Would give more stars if I could! Have one nervous cat and one super friendly cat. Amy was so patient with my nervous girl and super cuddly with friendly boy. Will 100% be using again - had lots of photos and updates throughout and my house is spotless!!!! Thank you xxx

ABOUT MY SCHEDULE I work shift work meaning I am off for 4-5 days at a time. I will only commit to day care or boarding on days when I am not working to allow me to ensure I am around to give your pet my full attention.. This allows me to be present and flexible, and adjust to meet each dog's needs and habits. Please get in touch to discuss preferred drop-off and pick-up times for your stay.

ABOUT MY HOME & NEIGHBORHOOD Licensed and regulated by Bedford Borough Council: LIC/2/20/53 I live in a spacious 4 bedroom town house, with a private fenced garden and loads of room for your fur babies to explore and play. Dogs are allowed in all rooms and on furniture, as the house is fully pet-proof, safe and pet-friendly. I'm also located close to Priory Country park and Stewartby lake, which allows me to offer the dogs I board variety when it comes to their daily walks. If your dog doesn’t mind car rides then we also often enjoy journeying to new locations to explore and find fun adventures. —— I offer a free meet and greet service for new customers to ensure you are and your pup are happy and comfortable. ---- DOGGY DAY CARE RATES My standard doggy daycare rate includes up to 8 hours of care at my home and include at least x1 60 min walk within the price. An extended care fee applies to early drop-offs or later pick-ups. Modifications will be made to your booking once you enquire according to the requested pick-up and drop-off times and the duration of the stay. --- DOG WALKING RATES: (Dog walks will be along side my dog Kenai, unless specifically requested for a solo walk) 30 min walk - £10 60 min walk - £13 1.5 hr + adventure walk (Often visits to woodland areas or country trails walks) - £21 - DOG-FRIENDLY DOGS ONLY Because I have a dog of my own, and because bookings sometimes overlap, I am only able to care for pets that are dog-friendly and get along with other dogs, with no history of aggressive behavior. This is so I can insure a safe environment for all pets in my care. If your dog tends to be just food-possessive or exhibits resource guarding, do let me know ahead of time, as I do have experience dealing with this, and can ensure dogs are fed separately (which I usually do when feeding dogs from different households), so they can have an incident and stress-free stay.

SAFETY & ENRICHMENT Pets are well looked after and supervised. Because I work shifts when I am home I am home all day so pets will never be left alone for more than 1-2 hours unless discussed otherwise. Enrichment toys, treats, and games will be provided if pop out at all, alongside daily walks to keep them active throughout the day.
