“Our dog had such a fun few days with Lauren, her family and their doggy friends! Lauren sent wonderful photos and videos so we knew he was having a ball!”

“Thank you so much for looking after Nutmeg so well. She was very happy and healthy after her stay with you. You had very carefully not let her walk much as requested, as her leg is healing, and it is loads better, so thank you! ☺️”

About: Hello! My name is Aleksandra (or Sasha), and I’m a huge dog lover with plenty of hands-on experience caring for dogs. As a dog owner myself, I know how difficult it can be to find someone you truly trust to look after your beloved furry family member, so I’m always happy to answer any questions you may have about me or my experience. I have a 12-year-old dog whom I adopted from Japan over eight years ago, and I’ve also spent many years looking after other people’s dogs, whether hosting them in my home, doing drop-in visits, or taking them for walks. My dog has become a bit of a bossy and stubborn old lady, but she gets along well with other dogs, especially younger ones. I work as a scientist and have a flexible hybrid schedule, which means I can work from home several days a week and adjust my hours when needed. This allows me to check in on your dog, take them for walks during the day, or provide company while you’re away. I’ll always do my best to make sure your pup feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Drop me a message and I will be happy to chat! I have a hybrid schedule and work from home 2-3 days a week. My office days are usually Monday and Thursday, but can be adjusted if needed. My weekends are usually free, so I can easily help out with walks, drop-in visits, or dog sitting when needed. I live in a secure apartment building, so any dogs staying with me will be in a safe and supervised environment. I only take on a limited number of dogs at a time so that I can give each one plenty of attention and make sure they feel comfortable. I’m also available for house sitting, drop-in visits and walks within Saffron Walden, and I’m happy to follow your dog’s usual routine as closely as possible. I have a 12-year-old dog who gets along well with most dogs, although she can be a little bossy sometimes. For that reason, I would prefer to arrange a first meeting in a neutral open space, such as a park area, before any stay in my home. I find that this helps dogs get to know each other more comfortably and makes the experience much smoother for everyone. I’ll always keep you updated with messages and photos, and I’ll make sure your dog is treated with the same care and attention that I give my own.

“Steven was an absolute pleasure to deal with. I recieved lots of photos and regular updates. He also went above and beyond to make sure Indy felt at home and had a wonderful stay, with lots of walks and pampering! I would highly recommend and will certainly be rebooking with Steven again.”

“Jess was great, very responsive and really attentive to quite the nervous dog. She went out of her way to make sure our dog was well cared for and gave us regular updates. Would definitely use her again and can't thank her and her partner enough for the care provided.”

“Lukie had stayed with Danuta before and had had a great time. When we saw that she was available for the time of our holiday, we asked to book with her right away! Once again, we are deeply grateful for the amazing care she and her family gave Lukie and their companionship to him. Always prompt in her communication with us, and she also sent us several pictures on a daily basis so we could stay informed of Lukie’s amazing walks! When we picked Lukie up he was of course happy to see us but he was also very calm, which reassured us he had felt comfortable at Danuta’s home. Thanks so much for such great care!!! Hopefully we can make it work again :-)”

“They updated us the whole time our dog, Oscar, was with them with messages and pictures. Very trustworthy and just such lovely people. I will happily place Oscar with them again in the future. Thanks a ton.”

“Hank obviously had a great stay with Alanna, Alex and Dill. He quickly settled in their home being made very welcome. Lots of different long walks, culminating in snuggles in their comfy warm home. Alanna kept me regularly updated with photos and snippets of their outings. Such a successful stay he’s booked in again for April. Thank you!”

“Kinga looked boarded our energetic spaniel for multiple days, and her greyhound proved to be a great companion and play partner. We received multiple photos and videos a day updating us on his adventures. Our dog clearly had a great time and was sad to leave!”

“I cannot recommend Alice and Josh highly enough! They were incredibly professional, attentive, flexible and organised. When I came to pick up Olya, she was calm, happy, and clearly well-cared for. I will definitely be booking them again for my next trip. Thank you both so much!”

About: Hi, I’m Ruth. I have grown up with animals and have cared for a wide variety of weird and wonderful pets, including cats, dogs, hedgehogs, rabbits and Guinea pigs. I’m caring and patient, and have always enjoyed the company of animals. I'm also able to administer medication to pets should they require this, and I have some experience with reactive dogs, too. I'm currently working full time on site in Hinxton, Cambridge; however, for ~1 week pet sitting, I am willing to book holiday for either the full or part of the booking to ensure I am available for your pet. Please note due to allergies I am unable to pet sit in smoking houses. I only provide care in your home. If your dog is a puppy under 1-year old I will be in the home with the pup at all times. I will follow any special instructions you require. I work full time in Hinxton; however, if a booking is ~ for one week, I am willing to book a holiday to be available full time for your pet. I only provide care in your home. On walks, dogs will remain on lead at all times, even if they have excellent recall. If your pet has any health issues that you are aware of, as make me aware. I am happy to administer mediation, and in worst-case scenarios, I own a car and would be able to take your pet to the vet in emergencies.

About: Hi! I’m a self-employed dog lover who works from home Monday–Friday, so I have plenty of time to give your dog lots of attention, playtime, walks and, of course, cuddles! I live in a spacious two-bedroom flat with my own dog, Vinny. While we don’t have a private garden, we do have a communal outdoor space for toilet breaks, and I make sure Vinny gets two 45-minute walks every day. We’re lucky to have plenty of lovely options nearby, from open fields and woodland to peaceful walks through the village. At home, life is nice and relaxed. Vinny is usually snoozing on the sofa, or happily working away at a frozen Kong or LickiMat. I’m happy to keep your dog’s usual routine as much as possible, whether they’re full of energy and love a good walk or are more of a professional sofa-snoozer! I’ve always loved animals and have had pets throughout my life, including dogs, rabbits and ducks. We’d love to have a second dog of our own one day, but in the meantime I’d love to welcome some local four-legged friends into our home and give them a safe, comfortable and loving place to stay. Your dog will be treated like one of the family, with plenty of company and attention throughout the day. I’d love to meet you and your pup and see if we’re a good match! “Thank you Jemma for making Marley feel so at home - my kids thought he genuinely looked sad when we took he home! I am sure he cannot wait to stay again. Knowing he was so well looked after and that you enjoyed it also, gives me so much relief and reassurance. Jemma was very accommodating at having an initial meeting, and kept me updated with pictures over the weekend. As this was the first time I have left him with someone that wasn't family, I am so pleased to have found Jemma and really look forward to the next time!”

I'm also able to drive, making it easy for me to travel to your home. I've cared for pets with separation anxiety, high-energy dogs that need long walks, and pets that require more frequent care and supervision. I'll always make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away. Working from home allows me to provide flexible, attentive care throughout the day. Whether your pet needs multiple walks, regular playtime, companionship, or extra supervision, I can easily adapt to their routine. “Rebecca is amazing! My cat had an injury and she was able to take her to the vets, administer medication and look after her, when I had to be away. I had to change the type of booking and she made it so easy. I had every day updates and pictures of my cat. I can't recommend her enough, Bella (my cat) has been so well looked after! 100% would contact her again if I have to.”

About: Hey! I am a 21 year old student veterinary nurse, completing my apprenticeship at a local practice. I have been dog walking and sitting for people locally for around 5 years, caring for them before or after work. I studied A levels in Animal Management and have worked since then at a doggy day care centre caring for over 20 dogs at once, whilst also at a farm. I also have two cheeky terriers. Therefore, I am used to a lot of mischief! I also own a lovely cat and have done numerous cat sittings too, staying at the clients house :) it’s fair to say, my life revolves around these four legged creatures- including rabbits and guinea pigs too! I am working full time at the moment, however I work both early and late shifts. Therefore I am happy to visit/ walk your pet before work, or if I’m on a late shift; in the evening afterwards. I am also available some weekends to stay over if needed!:) I currently am not looking after animals in my house due to my naughty terriers being enough to handle by themselves! They aren’t the biggest fan of new friends! However, I am more than happy to visit or stay at your house when needed!

“Ailie has been brilliant - she was communicative and friendly, left the house clean and tidy and most importantly, Geno has been well-cared for and beautifully brushed. We would be happy to use her again.”

“Excellent sitter. Reliable, and took time and care to befriend our cat. Made a massive difference to our trip knowing he was so well-looked-after. Wouldn't hesitate to use Lyall again and very happy to recommend.”

About: I have had a family dog all my life and have recently moved out and bought my own dog (a female Vizsla called Ruby!) I grew up with 3 different pet labradors and regularly pet sit for my brothers Labrador so know this breed very well. However, I have also had experience in pet sitting other breeds! Owning a Vizsla gives me an insight into more “complex” working dog breeds. I understand how some dogs do not tire from physical exercise alone and need the mental stimulation to settle down. I have also spent a long time teaching my dog a solid recall and loose lead etiquette. When it comes to playing and relaxing indoors, I am very open minded! I have a “dogs allowed on furniture and beds” kind of household, but will obviously respect those who wish their dogs to remain in their own spaces and areas :) That being said, I’m happy to have a snuggle on the sofa with any dogs who wish and a play in the garden. I do not have kids, but I do share my house with my dog Ruby, as mentioned, and she is a typical energetic young Vizsla. She may be a little “too much” for very old dogs, very tiny timid dogs and other dogs that may be reactive or have a tendency to resource guard. Whilst she is very friendly, she does like to play and i understand if this isn’t a suitable environment for all dogs. Ruby is also not currently neutered due to age and seasons etc. I’d always encourage a meet and great before any daycare sessions! Happy to talk through any concerns you may have or answer any questions. Above all, I adore dogs of all breeds and I’m very happy to talk, meet and get to know your dog before any daycare/boarding stays. I’m also happy to take on any awkward feeding schedules and oral administered medicine (please not I am NOT medically trained with animals however). I work from home so I am around my house all day. I have flexible hours and access to a car. I am also home most evenings Monday - Friday. Weekend availability is usually less structured so always happy to talk through when I’m around! I have a fenced garden and live on a quiet street in ickleton. I have a large kitchen, downstairs “walk in” style shower room, and comfy sofa that dogs are welcome to roam on. I have a friendly Vizsla to keep your dog entertained! I have a car so can offer pick up/drop offs for an extra cost if needed. I have loads of beautiful walks on our doorstep, including rivers to paddle in, quiet cattle-free fields to throw a ball in and quiet streets to practise any loose-lead walking.
About: I have owned cats all my life and have been cat sitting for a number of years for friends and relatives. I have also walked dogs and looked after them for family whenever they need. I’m currently working full time however I’m available in the afternoons/evenings during the week days and I am available all times throughout the weekends to look after your furry friends! I would ensure that when visiting a customers house the cat/dog is comfortable around me and will ensure they get lots of cuddles attention and walks. I would not let any animal out of my sight, unless the cats have a cat flap.
“Jessica looked after our cat and guinea pig for two weeks! My pets were happy! I received a photo report every day and quick replies to my messages. Jessica is a very responsible and pleasant person!”

“Rebecca has gone above and beyond to help look after my cat while I am away. My cat has had an incident and needed to go to the vets, Rebecca has taken her to all appointments and been looking after her, while keeping me updated of everything at all times. I could not recommend her enough!”

“Thank you Annie for stopping in at short notice to give Kai a run around and lots of fun playing! The updates you sent were great and we’d happily recommend you or have you look after Kai again!”

As a dog owner I know how important it is to have your pet looked after by someone who is reliable, dependable and trustworthy and who will make your pet feel safe, comfortable and happy. I’m happy to help look after your pet/s whilst you go away or when you are at work. I’m patient with animals and confident with looking after dogs of all sizes and ages. About: Welcome to my Rover profile 🐶🐾 If you're looking for a reliable, experienced pet sitter who genuinely loves animals, I’d be delighted to help take care of your pets and home while you're away. Below is more information on my experience. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me directly. With 25 years' experience caring for animals, including 4 years' volunteering in a rescue shelter, I've developed a deep passion for animals of all kinds. In rescue, I had the pleasure of walking multiple dogs on each visit and caring for a variety of animals. I regularly look after the pets of my neighbours and friends which has given me the opportunity to build trusting relationships with many furry companions. I've been a house sitter for 5 years and had the privilege of working with wonderful clients through Rover. I’ve built lasting connections with pet owners who trust me to look after their homes and pets, as if they were my own. I recently lost my own dog of 15 years, who was an adorable rescue staffy called Teddy from Battersea. I have experience with most breeds and comfortable with dogs of different sizes, ages and temperaments, including anxious or reactive dogs. I always recommend a meet and greet before booking, especially for dogs with specific needs or triggers, to make sure it’s a good fit and your dog feels safe and settled. Please do let me know in advance about any reactivity, routines, medical needs or behavioural quirks, the more I know, the better care I can provide. Thank you :) I am currently working from home (Mon-Fri), and flexible with work and meetings. For requests over 12 miles, a small fee will be charged to cover my petrol costs. Please don’t hesitate to drop me a message if you have any questions and would like to know more. I live in Saffron Walden and have a long garden in the countryside, with plenty of nearby fields, which I love to walk in. I ensure safety of pets by: • using secure leads • walking in safe areas • communicating with owners regularly • learning the commands your dog responds to • understanding your dog’s temperament • if there are any issues (I.e. not good around other dogs, people etc) • understanding what your dog enjoys (swimming in a lake) and finally, by building a great relationship with the pets and owners.
