Hello, I'm El - a cat sitter with Diploma in Feline Behaviour and Psychology (Distinction) and Feline First Aid. Most of my 'training' comes from my cats Tiger (15 years) and Lynx (4 years) who think they own me! I have also volunteered for six months at the Animal Rescue Charity in Bishop's Stortford. I've had cats for over 30 years - house cats, barn/stable cats, and also taken care of feral/community and stray cats (which have usually ended up moving in!) ranging in age from 1 - 19 years old. I am experienced in most cat medications and administering them. I have also taken care of cats with behavioural and toileting issues, and those with long term medical conditions including arthritis, hearing and visual impairments and cancers. My Diploma, Feline First Aid training and experience had made me a very confident cat sitter. You can feel reassured that your cat will receive care tailored to their needs, and that I can also calmy provide first aid treatment in the unlikely event of an emergency. El looked after Savannah for four days while we were away. She arrived on time on the day we left which was reassuring that she would be there to look after Savannah. I got daily updates with photo's and videos. When I got back Savannah had actually put on weight, probably due to the breakfasts in bed when she was too lazy to negotiate the stairs. The plants were watered as requested. I recommend El for house sitting.
Thank you so much to El for taking such great care looking after my elderly cat Joey. The daily photos/videos really helped put my mind at ease showing how happy he was. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend El & hope to use her services again in the future. Lisa.

El was amazing we have nervous cats but they fell in love with her straight away. She kept us updated daily and spent time with them playing and interacting. We couldn't have asked for a better service.
El is absolutely wonderful! She has a lovely way with cats (and people) and I felt completely comfortable leaving my boys in her care while we were on holiday. I received regular updates and I returned to two happy, content boys who had clearly been well looked after. Thank you El x
