My dogs both instantly loved Lili, even my nervous dog. She kept me updated while she was visiting and sent pictures. She even got a cuddle with one of the cats. Overall excellent. I will definitely be using Lili again. Thank you so much 🥰

About: Hi, I’m Kaylee, an experienced and reliable pet sitter with over 17 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, including senior dogs. I specialise in house sitting and drop-in visits in your home, so your pets can stay relaxed in their familiar environment while you’re away. I do not offer boarding, and all care is provided in your home. As a long-time dog owner, I have strong experience with senior dogs and understand the patience, gentle handling, and attention they need. I’m also confident managing separation anxiety and ensuring pets feel safe and secure. I’m comfortable caring for both dogs and cats, and I always follow your routines closely — including feeding schedules, walks, and any specific care requirements. I understand many pets are more comfortable staying in their own home, and I aim to keep their routine as normal, calm, and stress-free as possible. I am available most days and can be flexible depending on your needs. You’ll receive regular updates, photos, and messages so you can have complete peace of mind while you’re away. I treat every pet as if they were my own, providing calm, reliable, and attentive care at all times. Looking forward to meeting you and your lovely pets 🐾 I’m also experienced in caring for small animals and reptiles, including geckos, snakes, and hamsters. I’m comfortable with feeding routines and handling live or specialist diets, and I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully to ensure proper care. I am available most days and can be flexible to suit your schedule. I offer house sitting, drop-in visits, and dog walking, and I’m happy to discuss specific times and arrangements based on your needs. Whether you need weekday, weekend, or short-notice care, I will do my best to accommodate. I provide all care in the pet owner’s home, so pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment. I always follow your instructions carefully, including feeding routines, walks, and any specific care needs. I respect your home and keep everything clean, safe, and tidy at all times. I am calm, patient, and attentive, especially with senior pets or those who may feel anxious while their owners are away. Your pet’s wellbeing and your peace of mind are always my top priorities

About: I am a first year vet student with experience working with different animals, as well as having two cats my self. I love working with both cats and dogs and will happily take on either! as i am off from uni over the summer, i have free time most of the week to visit pets, take them on walks or maintain daily enrichment whilst you are away. As I am not currently at university i am fully flexible to any preferred times. I am used to nervous animals and work well with them having adopted two rescue kittens, so am happy to work with shy pets as well as confident ones.

About: I grew up with dogs, cats, tortoises and even stick insects at one point! I love looking after them but sadly where I live it isn't possible to have my own (and I'm not having stick insects again!). I enjoy walking, and love the regularity of one or two dog walks a day! **Please note** drop ins and walks only available in Faversham I currently am in a remote working role meaning I can travel around the UK as long as there is good WIFI for me to complete work. The work is generally flexible meaning I fit it around them rather than them around me! DROP IN SERVICE/DOG WALKER only available in Faversham I care for your pets and home as if they were my own, making sure that the house is clean and tidy on your return and your pet will be well loved. I am happy to do home visits before staying with your pet if required and easy for me to get to. Alot of my past clients love a daily update photo which I enjoy taking too ( if that's what you would like!)

About: Every booking will get a digital drawing of their dog! 🐶 I’ve trained and looked after mainly dog for 12 years from Chihuahua X Pappilons, Cockerpoos, Jack Russell X Border Terrier and currently my Golden Retriever! Each of these dogs I’ve had from a puppy and have trained them and brought them up alongside college and full time work. I’ve also looked after dogs of an older age with issues such as blindness, arthritis and incontinence which I grew knowledgeable on through vet visits and personal research. I’m currently available full time to board, visit or walk your pets! Available from 7:30am until 19:30pm. I have a full driving license so am able to pick up and drop off when required. I have a fully fence off back garden with a patio area and lawn along side. I have my very own Golden Retriever who is extremely friendly and loves other dogs so will always keep your fur baby company! I’m located infront of a beautiful woodland area perfect for long walks and adventures!

Kate and Leigh took such wonderful care of our cat. She looked really happy, playful, and very well looked after when we got back. Although it was our first time using Kate and Leigh as sitters, we felt completely safe and comfortable leaving our cat with them after meeting them. They’re both so kind and caring, and we wouldn’t hesitate to reach out to them again. Highly recommend!

This was our first time leaving our little baby and was so nervous. Kate and Leigh made the whole process so easy and reassured us Olive would be taken care of. We had a meeting before hand and we knew that she would be in safe hands. We had daily detailed updates with pictures! We can tell Olive was well played with and cared for. Would definitely recommend using Kate and Leigh for pet sitting, will be using in the future x

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Cat Sitting in Swale on Rover is £16.1 per Visit (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Cat Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Cat Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 1,478 sitters on Rover for Cat Sitting in Swale. About 91% of Swale sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter trays. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialisation or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:

  • 100% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 82% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 100% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
