Safety, trust & environment

Every dog in our care receives personalised, attentive care tailored to their individual needs and routine. Before any booking we arrange a meet and greet where we get to know your dog, their personality, routines, and any medical or behavioural needs. Owners also complete a registration form outlining vet details, feeding instructions, medication, daily schedule and anything else important so we can keep your dog’s routine as close to home life as possible. When dogs stay in our home, they enjoy a calm home-from-home environment with constant supervision, as dogs are never left alone. Their stay includes daily walks in local country parks, beaches or secure dog fields, along with enrichment activities such as Kongs, lick mats, snuffle mats and puzzle toys. Our secure private garden is designed for safe play and enrichment, with toys, a splash pool, tunnel and plenty of space to explore. Each dog receives lots of attention, rest time, and a tailored care plan based on what we discussed at the meet and greet. When caring for pets in their own home, we follow the same personalised approach, maintaining their usual routine, feeding schedule, exercise, and comfort in their familiar environment. We also provide regular updates, photos and messages so owners can relax knowing their pet is safe, happy and well cared for.

10/10 service as usual. I don’t want to recommend Kate too much because then she’ll never be available for us! But honestly she is brilliant. Very helpful & keeps us up to date with her drop ins. Professional & friendly, as well

Schedule

Pet care is my full-time profession, so the dogs staying with me are always my top priority. My daily routine is built entirely around their needs, ensuring they receive consistent attention, exercise, and enrichment throughout the day. Dogs enjoy a structured routine with morning walks, playtime and enrichment in our secure garden, rest time, and afternoon adventures such as countryside walks, beach visits, or trips to a secure dog field. Because I work from home and dedicate my time fully to pet care, dogs are never left alone and always have supervision, companionship, and a calm home environment during their stay.

Milton Paws House Rules To ensure the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of all dogs staying with us, we kindly ask owners to follow a few important guidelines. 🐾 Vaccinations – All dogs must be fully up to date with vaccinations at least 14 days prior to their stay, and proof must be provided. 🐾 Meet & Greet Required – All new clients must attend a meet and greet before their booking. This allows us to get to know your dog and ensure we are the right fit. Returning clients who have not used our services for three months or more will also require a new meet and greet. 🐾 Trial Night for Longer Stays – Dogs requesting boarding stays longer than three nights must complete a trial night beforehand to ensure they settle comfortably in our home environment. 🐾 Health & Behaviour – Dogs must be friendly, comfortable being handled, and have basic house manners. Owners must inform us of any behavioural or medical needs so we can provide appropriate care. 🐾 Flea & Worm Treatment – Dogs must be up to date with flea and worm treatment before their stay. 🐾 Honest Communication – Please let us know about your dog’s routine, behaviour, medical conditions, or anything else important so we can provide the best possible care. These guidelines help us maintain the safe, calm, and high-quality environment that Milton Paws is known for.
