I’ll treat yours like my own, with lots of love, attention, walks and lots of cuddles too! 🐾 I’m starting my Master’s online, which means I’ll be home far more than I’m out. Your dog won’t be fitted around my day, they’ll pretty much become part of it. Study break? Walk. Need some air? Walk. Procrastinating? Probably another walk. I love having a dog wandering around the house with me, so they’ll have plenty of company and attention throughout the day. Handing your dog over to someone you barely know is scary. I know because I have one and struggle to trust anyone with him! They’re your best friend and probably the most precious little thing in your life. I’ll look after yours with the same care I’d want for my Dexter, keep you updated with pictures, and make sure they’re safe, happy, loved and having the best time while you’re away. 🐾

About: I’ve always lived with dogs. My husband and I currently share our home with two golden retrievers, both girls, one is 15 1/2 years old and the other is 8 1/2 years old. We’ve had both girls from puppies and have loved training them and sharing our lives with them. We live in a small village with the river Crouch and farmland walks on our doorstep. I’m a part time teacher but looking to retire next year so I have lots of time and love to offer any dogs who need a holiday hone As I have 2 dogs, I already have daily doggy routines in place. My dogs have access to the enclosed garden all day and enjoy our daily walks around various fields or along the seawall. Tide dependent, they also love swimming in the river. Although I work part time at school, my husband works from home so there’s usually at least one of us at home. We have a large, enclosed garden which our dogs love exploring/ sunbathing in! I would care for your pets in just the same way that I’ve always cared for my own pets. Daily walks, play and cuddles are paramount.

I have a real passion for dog training and enjoy continuing to expand my knowledge of canine behaviour and communication. I regularly take part in sport training with my own dog, working towards PSA titles alongside highly experienced trainers. Through this, I have the opportunity to learn from and shadow some of the most experienced people in the field, developing my understanding of dog behaviour, body language, motivation and effective training methods. I enjoy bringing this knowledge into everyday life by reinforcing good manners and basic obedience where appropriate. If there are any cues, routines or training you’d like your dog to continue practising while they’re with me, I’ll be happy to keep things consistent and follow your preferences. Every dog learns differently, and I always take the time to understand what motivates each individual dog. I understand how important routine is, so I’ll always follow your dog’s normal schedule as closely as possible, including feeding times, medication (if required), training and any house rules you’d like me to continue. Before every booking, I’ll ask about your dog’s personality, likes and dislikes, medical needs, behaviour around other dogs, and anything else that helps me provide the best possible care. Your dog’s safety and wellbeing will always come first. My home is clean, secure and dog-friendly, and I’ll supervise dogs both indoors and outside. If an emergency were ever to arise, I’d contact you immediately and seek veterinary care if needed. For dog walking, I tailor every walk to suit your dog’s individual needs, whether they enjoy a gentle stroll or a longer, more active walk. My aim is to make sure every dog gets the exercise, mental stimulation and one-to-one attention they need while staying safe and happy. I know how important it is to trust someone with your dog, so I’ll keep you updated throughout their stay with regular photos and messages, giving you complete peace of mind while you’re away. About: I had my own labradoodle from a puppy and have cared for friends and families pets since he passed away 8 years ago. Myself and my husband have 2 children (10 & 7) and they love playing with the animals too. We love going for walks as a family and happy for the dogs to tag along! I am currently working part time (flexible days) so am able to change my days if needed to look after your pets. I will be mainly at home during the week so can take on lots of walks/play/toilet breaks. I live in a detached house with a large fenced garden so it’s safe for animals. I don’t have any pets (just the 2 children!) and happy to just care for one at a time (or pets from the same family). I don’t have a crate but have the space for one if you wanted to provide.

Pets are welcome on the beds and sofas — our dog used to sleep in bed with us, so we’re more than happy for your dog to do the same if they’re comfortable. I’m happy to administer flea and worming treatments if needed. We don’t currently have a crate, as we got rid of ours because our dog found it distressing, but I’m more than happy to use your crate if your dog is happy and comfortable being crated. Our dog suffered from severe separation anxiety, so I completely understand how difficult and stressful this can be for both dogs and their owners. I was unable to leave him alone, and he came everywhere with us. If your dog experiences separation anxiety, please be assured that I will not leave them alone and will do everything I can to make them feel safe, settled and comfortable. I can also provide home visits, including check-ins, walks, playtime and feeding, if that’s what your pet needs. 🐾

About: We are a dog loving couple We are retired and have kept dogs for over 20 years. Our last dog died last year and we do not want to get another at the moment. We have a very large garden and have lots lovely walks close by. About: Hi! We’re Betül, Yavuz Alp, and Freud 🐾 We moved to the UK from Turkey three years ago with our beloved dog, Freud. We were lucky enough to meet him when he was a 2-year-old stray, and he has now been part of our family for five wonderful years. Since then, he has travelled with us to many places and is at the heart of our home. We live in a house with a secure, fully fenced garden where Freud spends most of his day enjoying the outdoors. I work Monday to Thursday, 9am–5pm, in Rayleigh, while my husband works from home full-time. During the summer, you’ll usually find him working from the garden rather than his upstairs office! At weekends, we love exploring local woodland walks such as Belfairs and Hockley Woods. Weekdays are a little quieter, but the garden is always full of games, enrichment activities, and plenty of attention. We also enjoy shorter evening walks after work. Freud is a friendly, easy-going dog of around 10kg. He gets on well with dogs of a similar size and enjoys having canine company. As with many smaller dogs, he can be a little cautious around much larger breeds, so we always make introductions thoughtfully. Guest dogs are welcome throughout our home and are free to relax on the sofas or beds if that’s what they’re used to. We simply ask that they are toilet trained and comfortable living in a home environment. One of the reasons I joined Rover is that I would love to adopt another dog one day, but for now I need to prioritise my finances and health. Looking after other wonderful dogs seemed like the perfect compromise—and Freud certainly won’t complain about making new friends! If you have any questions, we’d love to hear from you. Betül, Yavuz Alp & Freud 🐶 We are living in a house with a fenced garden where Freud spends most of his day. I am working Monday to Thursday 9to5 in an office in Rayleigh. On the other hand my husband is working from home and even though he has an office upstairs his main base is garden especially in Summer. We mostly spend our weekends with a long walk in the woods around, such as Belfairs and Hockley. We are a bit lazy during weekdays but garden is full of games. We tend to have 15 to 30 minutes short walks to the shops etc after 6 pm during weekdays. Freud is friendly with the dogs his size. He can be a bit protective of himself with bigger dogs with a lot of barking and hiding behind us😂 We have a crate which is large enough for Freud to move if needed, but not preferred.

Daniel kept me updated on Zeus' care throughout the day, including photos and videos, which was very reassuring for us. Daniel also provided additional information on Zeus' Doggy Day Care Card. This allowed us to know how any walks he had, which routes he was taken on, toileting habits logged, as well as fluid intake logged. About: I have grown up around dogs and have been caring for them my whole life, from puppies right through to senior dogs. I regularly look after family members’ dogs while they’re away, and it’s something I really enjoy. One day, I’d love to start my own dog walking business as working with dogs is something I’m genuinely passionate about. It’s something I know I’d love doing every day. I currently work from home two days a week, which gives me flexibility to provide attentive care and enjoy some extra company. I am also available on weekends, so I have plenty of time to dedicate to looking after your pets and treating them like my own.
