About: Hi! We’re Betül, Yavuz Alp, and Freud 🐾 We moved to the UK from Turkey three years ago with our beloved dog, Freud. We were lucky enough to meet him when he was a 2-year-old stray, and he has now been part of our family for five wonderful years. Since then, he has travelled with us to many places and is at the heart of our home. We live in a house with a secure, fully fenced garden where Freud spends most of his day enjoying the outdoors. I work Monday to Thursday, 9am–5pm, in Rayleigh, while my husband works from home full-time. During the summer, you’ll usually find him working from the garden rather than his upstairs office! At weekends, we love exploring local woodland walks such as Belfairs and Hockley Woods. Weekdays are a little quieter, but the garden is always full of games, enrichment activities, and plenty of attention. We also enjoy shorter evening walks after work. Freud is a friendly, easy-going dog of around 10kg. He gets on well with dogs of a similar size and enjoys having canine company. As with many smaller dogs, he can be a little cautious around much larger breeds, so we always make introductions thoughtfully. Guest dogs are welcome throughout our home and are free to relax on the sofas or beds if that’s what they’re used to. We simply ask that they are toilet trained and comfortable living in a home environment. One of the reasons I joined Rover is that I would love to adopt another dog one day, but for now I need to prioritise my finances and health. Looking after other wonderful dogs seemed like the perfect compromise—and Freud certainly won’t complain about making new friends! If you have any questions, we’d love to hear from you. Betül, Yavuz Alp & Freud 🐶 We are living in a house with a fenced garden where Freud spends most of his day. I am working Monday to Thursday 9to5 in an office in Rayleigh. On the other hand my husband is working from home and even though he has an office upstairs his main base is garden especially in Summer. We mostly spend our weekends with a long walk in the woods around, such as Belfairs and Hockley. We are a bit lazy during weekdays but garden is full of games. We tend to have 15 to 30 minutes short walks to the shops etc after 6 pm during weekdays. Freud is friendly with the dogs his size. He can be a bit protective of himself with bigger dogs with a lot of barking and hiding behind us😂 We have a crate which is large enough for Freud to move if needed, but not preferred.
“Paul took amazing care of Milana, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. He kept me updated throughout her stay with messages and photos, which gave me real peace of mind. It was clear that he genuinely cared for her, and I felt completely confident she was in safe hands. I’ll definitely be contacting Paul again whenever I need someone to look after my baby. Highly recommend!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Daisy and Chester stayed with Daniel for 3 days/2 nights in preparation for a longer stay and to make sure all is well. Both dogs already love Daniel from earlier, shorter visits and were very keen to get through his front door when we arrived. Settled within minutes and not bothered by our leaving them with Daniel. We received regular updates, photos and videos and everything we heard indicated a home from home scenario. When we went to collect them they were obviously pleased to see us, but were both keen for a continued fuss from Daniel. Daniel makes his guests very welcome and is attentive and very tuned into their needs. Highly recommended.”

“Rita was great, from day one we received photos of Teddy, kept us well updated with photos and messages. Great environment for dogs to run around and also relax. I would not hesitate in recommending Rita to anyone looking for a caring dog owner who puts your mind at ease. Thank you Rita!!”

“Absolutely amazing! First time using rover and needed a very late last minute booking and luckily I found Mima! Mima and Scott treated my dog Ditsy as if she was there own which was amazing. Daily updates with pictures and Ditsy looked like she was on holiday enjoying life. I can't highly recommend both Mima and Scott enough and will be only using them in the future for looking after my dog Absolute pleasure to deal with and if your worried about leaving your dog with strangers id suggest using them and you won't regret it”

“When we first met Deb we knew straight away that she and Freddie would be a good fit. Freddie has had a day stay and recently overnight for 2 nights. Deb treats Freddie as her own, going for long walks and enjoying each other's company. I would definitely recommend. Paula”

About: I’m Kirima! Co-owner of KL Canine Collective🐾 I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember, and caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life. I regularly look after dogs for family and friends, providing everything from daily walks and feeding to overnight stays and plenty of playtime. Through this experience, I’ve learned that every dog is different, so I always adapt my care to suit their individual personality, routine and needs. I offer doggy day care, dog boarding and dog walking in the Great Wakering area. Whether your dog enjoys long countryside walks, a gentle stroll, playing in the garden or simply relaxing with company, I’ll make sure they have a happy, safe and enjoyable time. I work from home, which means your dog will have company for most of the day and won’t be left alone for long periods. My home has a fully secure garden where dogs can safely play, explore and burn off some energy. A typical day includes regular toilet breaks, walks tailored to your dog’s age and energy level, playtime, enrichment activities, plenty of opportunities to rest, and lots of love and attention. I have a real passion for dog training and enjoy continuing to expand my knowledge of canine behaviour and communication. I regularly take part in sport training with my own dog, working towards PSA titles alongside highly experienced trainers. Through this, I have the opportunity to learn from and shadow some of the most experienced people in the field, developing my understanding of dog behaviour, body language, motivation and effective training methods. I enjoy bringing this knowledge into everyday life by reinforcing good manners and basic obedience where appropriate. If there are any cues, routines or training you’d like your dog to continue practising while they’re with me, I’ll be happy to keep things consistent and follow your preferences. Every dog learns differently, and I always take the time to understand what motivates each individual dog. I understand how important routine is, so I’ll always follow your dog’s normal schedule as closely as possible, including feeding times, medication (if required), training and any house rules you’d like me to continue. Before every booking, I’ll ask about your dog’s personality, likes and dislikes, medical needs, behaviour around other dogs, and anything else that helps me provide the best possible care. Your dog’s safety and wellbeing will always come first. My home is clean, secure and dog-friendly, and I’ll supervise dogs both indoors and outside. If an emergency were ever to arise, I’d contact you immediately and seek veterinary care if needed. For dog walking, I tailor every walk to suit your dog’s individual needs, whether they enjoy a gentle stroll or a longer, more active walk. My aim is to make sure every dog gets the exercise, mental stimulation and one-to-one attention they need while staying safe and happy. I know how important it is to trust someone with your dog, so I’ll keep you updated throughout their stay with regular photos and messages, giving you complete peace of mind while you’re away. I treat every dog as if they were my own and strive to provide a genuine home-from-home experience where they feel safe, comfortable, loved and well cared for from the moment they arrive. I’d love the opportunity to welcome your furry family member into my home and give them the same care and attention I’d want for my own. 🐶❤️ 📍 Great Wakering I work from home, which means I can provide plenty of attention, company and supervision throughout the day. I am able to fit walks, playtime, feeding routines and any medication needs around my daily schedule, while making sure pets have a calm and comfortable environment. I have experience caring for family dogs and understand that every pet has their own personality, routine and needs. I’m happy to follow each owner’s instructions to help their pet feel comfortable and settled while they are in my care. I want every pet in my care to feel safe, comfortable and loved. I provide a calm home environment where pets can relax, with plenty of attention, playtime and enrichment. I understand how important it is for owners to trust the person looking after their pet, so I always follow instructions carefully and keep owners updated with photos and messages. I take pet safety seriously by making sure pets are supervised, have a secure environment, and have their individual needs respected. I will treat every pet as if they were my own and make sure they receive the care, patience and affection they deserve.

About: My extended family have always had dogs and I've got experience with many breeds from great danes to yorshire terriers through all stages of their lives. From a youngster we had German shepherd's in the family and I was raised knowing that dogs are not pets, they are beloved family members with complex needs. I've volunteered at a number of animal rescues over the last two decades, driven by my love of animals and skill in dealing with a wide range of species. I'm the proud dad of a large rescue staffy x who is the centre of my world. You can be assured I will treat your companion with the utmost kindness and respect. I'm flexible depending on your dogs needs, I really enjoy long walks but if your dog prefers a slower, more sniffy walk, I'm happy to amble along at their pace. I'm at home most of the day as I don't leave my dog alone for longer than 2/3 hours. I'm an electrician by trade but am currently on an extended sabbatical. I'm in a ground floor flat with an 80 foot long, secure back garden with a 6ft fence. We have a friendly rescue dog, a young male bulldog x staffy. He's well socislised and enjoys the company of other dogs, he's neutered but particularly loves the ladies. We're a 20 minute walk from parks and the sea front. I'm trustworthy, respectful and have a recent DBS check if you require me to attend your home.

About: I had my own labradoodle from a puppy and have cared for friends and families pets since he passed away 8 years ago. Myself and my husband have 2 children (10 & 7) and they love playing with the animals too. We love going for walks as a family and happy for the dogs to tag along! I am currently working part time (flexible days) so am able to change my days if needed to look after your pets. I will be mainly at home during the week so can take on lots of walks/play/toilet breaks. I live in a detached house with a large fenced garden so it’s safe for animals. I don’t have any pets (just the 2 children!) and happy to just care for one at a time (or pets from the same family). I don’t have a crate but have the space for one if you wanted to provide.

“Thank you so much for taking suck excellent care of Archie. We really appreciate how you kept us up to date and took pictures to show how happy and calm he was while he was away. Thank you”

“Alison looked after our puppy Luna for the day and overnight, Luna was very well looked after, cared for and given lots of attention and affection. Alison was great at understanding Luna’s needs and communicating with and also sent pictures and videos of Luna so we could see how she was getting on throughout her stay. Would definitely recommend. Thank you so much 😊”

We were delighted with the dog sitting service provided by Karen. Karen was happy to meet with our dog Sonny before he stayed and was kind, caring and thoughtful. We were updated on his progress on a regular basis and he had a wonderful time. He was actually reluctant to leave! Thank you so much Karen, we will definitely use your dog sitting service again.
