So much so we have already booked them for our summer holiday. He kept in touch the whole time we were away with photos and videos. I cannot recommend him enough

Amazing! Lulu had another lovely stay at Elisa’s. Elisa was also able to assist us enormously with a problem that had developed with Lulu (she had suddenly become scared of walking on our laminated floor!). Problem now nearly fixed thanks to Elisa’s experience and patience.

I was looking for a place where my spaniel would feel as if she was at a home from home I had to leave her for a night over the Christmas holiday period. Lizzie and her family fitted the brief perfectly; they were welcoming and relaxed and immediately made me feel that Molly would be fine with them. Lizzie sent me pictures of how she was settling in over the period and set my mind at ease. I wouldn't hesitate in using Lizzie again, or recommending her to anyone I know who has a dog and needs a trustworthy sitter.

Toffee, our 12 yr old Golden, stayed with Yevgeniia and Ringo, her own lovely retriever, for four days while we took a short trip away. Toffee had a couple of medical issues that needed dealing with (slight incontinence and a ‘hot spot’) both requiring medication and close management. Yevgeniia has been looking after dogs from a young age, and her experience shows! She was very thorough in managing Toffee’s issues: by the time we picked Toffee up, her wound had greatly healed and she had not required a diaper for the most of the stay. Yevgeniia sent daily photos, videos and updates, including very funny reports on the on - off romance between Toffee and Ringo! Toffee came home her usual happy self, and I was glad she had a ‘home from home’ experience, with the added opportunity to socialise with the very gentle Ringo! I highly recommend Yevgeniia and will would not hesitate to book Toffee with her again, and am already planning to use Yevgeniia’s day care service when required. A very big thank you to Yevgeniia from Toffee and I, for the the diligent care you have shown during her stay!

About: We’re a dog-loving couple (Harry and Megan) who have both grown up with dogs and really miss having them around! Between us, we’ve had experience with a wide range of breeds and sizes from Great Danes and Neapolitan Mastiffs to Jack Russells and miniature poodles, so we’re very comfortable around dogs with different personalities, energy levels and needs. We don’t currently have pets of our own because we love travelling and exploring when we get the chance, but when we’re home we’d love to be able to give that time and attention to someone else’s dog instead. My boyfriend works from home full-time and I work from home most of the week, only travelling into London around 1–2 days, so there is always someone at home and plenty of opportunity for company, attention and toilet breaks throughout the day. We have a spacious, secure garden with no hazards, and lots of room to play and run around, and we live close to the countryside with plenty of lovely walking routes nearby. We’re also very happy taking dogs on longer walks and adventures if that’s what they enjoy! We know how important it is to feel completely comfortable leaving your dog with someone else, so our aim is to make them feel as settled, loved and at home as possible while they’re with us. Our routine is very flexible, which makes pet sitting fit in really naturally with our day to day life. My boyfriend, Harry works from home full time and I work from home most of the week, so we’re able to offer plenty of company throughout the day as well as morning, lunchtime and evening walks. On a typical weekday, we’d usually start with a morning walk before work, often heading to our local country park or one of the countryside routes nearby. Because we both have flexible working hours, we can also fit in lunchtime walks, garden breaks and plenty of attention throughout the day, followed by another walk in the evening if that suits the dog’s usual routine. We do go to a very local gym around three evenings a week, so ideally a dog staying with us would be comfortable being left for around 1–1.5 hours. However, if they’re not happy being left alone, we can easily work around that and go to the gym separately instead. We’re also very happy to look after dogs at weekends. We love getting outdoors, exploring new places and going for walks, so if a dog enjoys travelling in the car, we’d be more than happy to take them along on little adventures with us. It’s also useful for us to know how they are in dog-friendly cafés, pubs and other public places, as we’re quite social and would love to include them in daytime plans where it suits their personality. If that isn’t their thing, that’s absolutely fine too, we’d simply plan our day around what they enjoy and are used to! We have a three-bedroom home over two floors with a large, fully fenced rectangular back garden, so there’s plenty of room for a dog to make themselves at home. The garden is easy to keep an eye on from the house and there are no escape points. We’d be happy for them to have access throughout the house, as long as they’re toilet trained and not destructive. When the weather is nice, we usually have the back doors open so they can come in and out as they please. If it’s raining or cold, one of us is always around to let them out whenever they need. We keep towels and blankets downstairs too, so wet or muddy paws are never a problem after walks or time outside. Dogs are very welcome on the sofa with us and we have blankets they can sit on. We wouldn’t have them sleeping on the bed, but if they’re used to sleeping near people, we’d be happy for them to sleep in our bedroom on their own bed or on blankets on the floor. We also have a dedicated area for food and water, and already keep a few basics at home for when we look after friends and families dogs, such as poo bags, a few toys, a lead and treats. We’d always stick to whatever food, treats and routine their owner provides though, and wouldn’t give them anything new without checking first. More than anything, we’d want them to feel relaxed, included and treated as part of the household while they’re with us.

Ziggy spent a few nights with Meghan and knowing he was so well taken care of really helped me relax on my holiday. Meghan sent photos, videos and updates on how he was doing in the heatwave. He got on really well with her dog and will definitely be back to visit again. Thoroughly recommend Meghan to anyone anxious about leaving their beloved pet with her. 🥰

About: I’ve taken care of dogs from a very young age. My family and I rescue dogs and cats. I’m caring, reliable, and genuinely passionate about making dogs feel safe, happy, and comfortable. I take the time to understand each dog’s individual personality, routine, and needs. I’m happy to care for puppies, energetic dogs, and senior pets, including keeping to feeding, walking, medication, and bedtime routines. I’m also patient with young dogs who are still learning basic manners and training. Above all, I treat every dog as if they were my own and keep owners updated so you can have complete peace of mind while you’re away. I will be the only one caring for any dogs while in my care. As I’m currently not working, I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. This means I can be available for walks, visits, feeding, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. I’m also able to be flexible around your dog’s usual routine and give them the attention and care they need. I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in a calm and secure environment. I follow their usual routines as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, playtime, and rest. I’m respectful of your home and your instructions, and I take the time to understand each pet’s individual needs and personality. Your pet’s safety and wellbeing are my top priorities, and I’ll treat them with the same care and attention I would give my own.

Romina is an absolutely lovely person, so smiley and friendly and completely set my dog and myself at ease. My rescue dog Emmy stayed with her and her husband and dog Buddy for three nights and was so well looked after. Emmy was a little nervous about going for a walk at first and Romina was very sensitive about this and handled it very well - by day two Emmy was walking happily and enjoying cuddles and belly rubs! I wouldn’t hesitate to ask Romina to look after Emmy again and would recommend her to any fellow Rover users without hesitation.

About: **Please message me as the fees are not set and Rover doesn't allow me to change some of them. Every dog and it's needs and its pawrents situations are different so costs can differ!** I’ve had two dogs of my own over the past 20 years, and have cared for them through every stage of life — from energetic puppies to elderly dogs needing extra patience and care. This hands-on experience has helped me understand different temperaments, routines, and individual needs. I’m also dog first aid qualified, giving extra reassurance that your pet will be in safe and capable hands. I’ll always treat your dog like one of my own, making sure they feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I am fully available to spend 24/7 catering to your doggos needs. Your dog will be played with to their hearts desire, have lovely walks, constant fresh water, a couple of cheeky little treats, and as many photos and videos of your fur-baby as you like throughout the day. Pets in my care will be treated like part of the family in a safe, relaxed, and loving environment. I live in a static caravan with a secure, decent-sized decking area where dogs can safely enjoy fresh air and choose to come and go freely while supervised. I also have a grass area for toilet breaks and playtime, along with plenty of lovely walks surrounding me, perfect for keeping dogs happy, exercised, and mentally stimulated. I always make sure pets feel comfortable, secure, and cared for, whether in my home or in the owner’s home following their usual routine.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and currently have a Golden Retriever called Leo, so I have hands-on experience with dogs at every stage of life, from puppies and adolescent dogs to senior dogs. Through attending training classes with Leo, I’ve learned positive training techniques and am happy to continue any training or routines you’re already working on with your dog. I understand that every dog is different and will always follow their individual needs, routines, and preferences. Most importantly, I’ll care for your dog as if they were my own, ensuring they feel safe, happy, and well looked after while in my care. I work from home, so I'm around during the day and can be flexible to fit around your dog's routine. I have a garden and walk my Golden Retriever, Leo, in the morning, on my lunch break, and again in the evening. Whether your dog enjoys lots of exercise or prefers a quieter pace, I'm happy to work around their needs. We have a secure garden, with a fence. A baby gate, a crate too, so dogs can be separated to make sure they get enough sleep throughout the day. We have a friendly dog called Leo, who knows when to play and when to settle.

About: I am from the north east of England where I live in a small town surrounded by countryside (before spending 16 years in London and moving to Kent in 2020). I love animals, in particular dogs. From when I was born I grew up around cats and dogs we had in the family, rabbits too and other animals on my aunties farm horses, cows, sheep and chickens. My auntie was also a dog trainer and attended crufts. I work in Mental Health and animals are a huge part of the family. They also help to reduce any stress, live in the moment and make us smile. I also have a pet first aid qualification. I am mainly available Friday (8am) to Sunday (10pm) for day care and/or over night. Depending on the time of the year and my work I may be available for other days/longer stays. My home is firstly my dogs home. He is allowed on the sofa and has access to a secure garden. There are no dangerous wires or objects which could cause injury.

About: I've taken care of pets throughout childhood (we owned two cats) and have been around dogs for a similar amount of time. My extended family always had dogs, from Jack Russell's and Cockapoos to Labradors. I loved them all and enjoy getting to know their individual personalities. I'm home most of the time, occasionally I have to be away in London. I would be able to travel local to Whitstable / Herne Bay and care for your dog as needed (walks or daycare). Or alternatively I can offer daycare at my home. There is a large garden at the back that dogs love to explore! I'm often in the back patio working so I can keep and eye on them. There are no other pets here so they will have all the space (and attention...) I know a few good walking spots in the local area. If there is a preferred route or grounds you'd like me to take your dog, please let me know.
