“Juliet is amazing with my 11 month old flat coated retriever, she sent me lots of updates and pics and took excellent care of my girl. I’ll happily ask Juliet for more dog care knowing my girl is in excellent hands being well loved and looked after by Juliet and her family 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟💕👌”

About: Hi! We’re Betül, Yavuz Alp, and Freud 🐾 We moved to the UK from Turkey three years ago with our beloved dog, Freud. We were lucky enough to meet him when he was a 2-year-old stray, and he has now been part of our family for five wonderful years. Since then, he has travelled with us to many places and is at the heart of our home. We live in a house with a secure, fully fenced garden where Freud spends most of his day enjoying the outdoors. I work Monday to Thursday, 9am–5pm, in Rayleigh, while my husband works from home full-time. During the summer, you’ll usually find him working from the garden rather than his upstairs office! At weekends, we love exploring local woodland walks such as Belfairs and Hockley Woods. Weekdays are a little quieter, but the garden is always full of games, enrichment activities, and plenty of attention. We also enjoy shorter evening walks after work. Freud is a friendly, easy-going dog of around 10kg. He gets on well with dogs of a similar size and enjoys having canine company. As with many smaller dogs, he can be a little cautious around much larger breeds, so we always make introductions thoughtfully. Guest dogs are welcome throughout our home and are free to relax on the sofas or beds if that’s what they’re used to. We simply ask that they are toilet trained and comfortable living in a home environment. One of the reasons I joined Rover is that I would love to adopt another dog one day, but for now I need to prioritise my finances and health. Looking after other wonderful dogs seemed like the perfect compromise—and Freud certainly won’t complain about making new friends! If you have any questions, we’d love to hear from you. Betül, Yavuz Alp & Freud 🐶 We are living in a house with a fenced garden where Freud spends most of his day. I am working Monday to Thursday 9to5 in an office in Rayleigh. On the other hand my husband is working from home and even though he has an office upstairs his main base is garden especially in Summer. We mostly spend our weekends with a long walk in the woods around, such as Belfairs and Hockley. We are a bit lazy during weekdays but garden is full of games. We tend to have 15 to 30 minutes short walks to the shops etc after 6 pm during weekdays. Freud is friendly with the dogs his size. He can be a bit protective of himself with bigger dogs with a lot of barking and hiding behind us😂 We have a crate which is large enough for Freud to move if needed, but not preferred.
“Paul took amazing care of Milana, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. He kept me updated throughout her stay with messages and photos, which gave me real peace of mind. It was clear that he genuinely cared for her, and I felt completely confident she was in safe hands. I’ll definitely be contacting Paul again whenever I need someone to look after my baby. Highly recommend!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Daisy and Chester stayed with Daniel for 3 days/2 nights in preparation for a longer stay and to make sure all is well. Both dogs already love Daniel from earlier, shorter visits and were very keen to get through his front door when we arrived. Settled within minutes and not bothered by our leaving them with Daniel. We received regular updates, photos and videos and everything we heard indicated a home from home scenario. When we went to collect them they were obviously pleased to see us, but were both keen for a continued fuss from Daniel. Daniel makes his guests very welcome and is attentive and very tuned into their needs. Highly recommended.”

“Rita was great, from day one we received photos of Teddy, kept us well updated with photos and messages. Great environment for dogs to run around and also relax. I would not hesitate in recommending Rita to anyone looking for a caring dog owner who puts your mind at ease. Thank you Rita!!”

“Absolutely amazing! First time using rover and needed a very late last minute booking and luckily I found Mima! Mima and Scott treated my dog Ditsy as if she was there own which was amazing. Daily updates with pictures and Ditsy looked like she was on holiday enjoying life. I can't highly recommend both Mima and Scott enough and will be only using them in the future for looking after my dog Absolute pleasure to deal with and if your worried about leaving your dog with strangers id suggest using them and you won't regret it”

“When we first met Deb we knew straight away that she and Freddie would be a good fit. Freddie has had a day stay and recently overnight for 2 nights. Deb treats Freddie as her own, going for long walks and enjoying each other's company. I would definitely recommend. Paula”

About: My extended family have always had dogs and I've got experience with many breeds from great danes to yorshire terriers through all stages of their lives. From a youngster we had German shepherd's in the family and I was raised knowing that dogs are not pets, they are beloved family members with complex needs. I've volunteered at a number of animal rescues over the last two decades, driven by my love of animals and skill in dealing with a wide range of species. I'm the proud dad of a large rescue staffy x who is the centre of my world. You can be assured I will treat your companion with the utmost kindness and respect. I'm flexible depending on your dogs needs, I really enjoy long walks but if your dog prefers a slower, more sniffy walk, I'm happy to amble along at their pace. I'm at home most of the day as I don't leave my dog alone for longer than 2/3 hours. I'm an electrician by trade but am currently on an extended sabbatical. I'm in a ground floor flat with an 80 foot long, secure back garden with a 6ft fence. We have a friendly rescue dog, a young male bulldog x staffy. He's well socislised and enjoys the company of other dogs, he's neutered but particularly loves the ladies. We're a 20 minute walk from parks and the sea front. I'm trustworthy, respectful and have a recent DBS check if you require me to attend your home.

About: I had my own labradoodle from a puppy and have cared for friends and families pets since he passed away 8 years ago. Myself and my husband have 2 children (10 & 7) and they love playing with the animals too. We love going for walks as a family and happy for the dogs to tag along! I am currently working part time (flexible days) so am able to change my days if needed to look after your pets. I will be mainly at home during the week so can take on lots of walks/play/toilet breaks. I live in a detached house with a large fenced garden so it’s safe for animals. I don’t have any pets (just the 2 children!) and happy to just care for one at a time (or pets from the same family). I don’t have a crate but have the space for one if you wanted to provide.

“Thank you so much for taking suck excellent care of Archie. We really appreciate how you kept us up to date and took pictures to show how happy and calm he was while he was away. Thank you”

“Alison looked after our puppy Luna for the day and overnight, Luna was very well looked after, cared for and given lots of attention and affection. Alison was great at understanding Luna’s needs and communicating with and also sent pictures and videos of Luna so we could see how she was getting on throughout her stay. Would definitely recommend. Thank you so much 😊”

I’m experienced in caring for cats of all ages, from kittens to older cats who may need a bit of extra care and attention. I’ll make sure your cat feels comfortable, relaxed, and gets plenty of love and cuddles while you’re away.

“I had a very good experience. I felt comfortable leaving my cat, Freya, in Mike's care and was confident that she was safe and well looked after while I was away. Everything went smoothly, and Freya seemed happy and relaxed when I returned. Communication was easy, and Mike sent plenty of cute photos and videos, which was very reassuring. It was clear that she was being properly cared for, and I would happily trust Mike with Freya again in the future.”

“Lucia was wonderful at looking after our 3 cats whilst we were away; she gave us updates on how they were and gave our elderly cat her medication. Came home to happy cats :) Thank you Lucia! Looking forward to next time ”
“Tanvi was very professional liaising all the time, before and during her drop-in home visit with photos to ease my worries. My 6yr old Cockapoo Teddy is very anxious and not good with strangers, but he gelled well with Tanvi. The afternoon was a success and I am confident to leave Teddy in her capable hands for another visit really soon. I would highly recommend Tanvi to any dog owners with similar worries about leaving their dog.”

About: I know it’s not “just a dog”, they’re our babies. I’ll treat yours like my own, with lots of love, attention, walks and lots of cuddles too! 🐾 I’m starting my Master’s online, which means I’ll be home far more than I’m out. Your dog won’t be fitted around my day, they’ll pretty much become part of it. Study break? Walk. Need some air? Walk. Procrastinating? Probably another walk. I love having a dog wandering around the house with me, so they’ll have plenty of company and attention throughout the day. Handing your dog over to someone you barely know is scary. I know because I have one and struggle to trust anyone with him! They’re your best friend and probably the most precious little thing in your life. I’ll look after yours with the same care I’d want for my Dexter, keep you updated with pictures, and make sure they’re safe, happy, loved and having the best time while you’re away. 🐾
About: I’ve always lived with dogs. My husband and I currently share our home with two golden retrievers, both girls, one is 15 1/2 years old and the other is 8 1/2 years old. We’ve had both girls from puppies and have loved training them and sharing our lives with them. We live in a small village with the river Crouch and farmland walks on our doorstep. I’m a part time teacher but looking to retire next year so I have lots of time and love to offer any dogs who need a holiday hone As I have 2 dogs, I already have daily doggy routines in place. My dogs have access to the enclosed garden all day and enjoy our daily walks around various fields or along the seawall. Tide dependent, they also love swimming in the river. Although I work part time at school, my husband works from home so there’s usually at least one of us at home. We have a large, enclosed garden which our dogs love exploring/ sunbathing in! I would care for your pets in just the same way that I’ve always cared for my own pets. Daily walks, play and cuddles are paramount.

About: Hi, my name is Victoria. I am a pet sitter in Southend-on-Sea, Essex, close to the beach and surrounded by lots of beautiful parks and woods. From a young age, I have always loved animals of all kinds (sometimes more than humans🤭!). Growing up, we had cats, rabbits and hamsters at home, so animals have always been a big part of my life they bring me so much peace and happiness. When I got married, my husband and I welcomed a Beagle cross into our family from a puppy. We sadly had to rehome him when he was seven years old, which was a very difficult and heart breaking decision for us. As a family, we have always loved animals, and my son was especially gentle and caring with our dog, knowing when to play with him and when to give him his own space. I love exploring different places on my walks, whether that's the woods, the beach or beautiful country parks, so having a furry friend to enjoy these adventures with would be wonderful company. I’m a caring, reliable and genuinely animal-loving person, and I will always treat your pets as if they were my own. I love to give them lots of fuss, cuddles and attention, while also respecting their individual personalities and giving them space when they need it. I can offer flexible and personalised pet-sitting services to suit you and your pets, and I’m also happy to help with things such as flea and worming treatments if needed. For your peace of mind i am DBS CHECKED/FULLY INSURED/CPR & FIRST AID TRAINED. If you're looking for a pet sitter who genuinely loves animals and will give your pets plenty of love, care and attention, then feel free to get in touch - I’d love to hear from you! — I’d be very happy to chat about your pets and how I can help! Thank you, Victoria 🐾 I’m currently a stay-at-home mum, so I have lots of time, love and attention to give to an animal who needs it. I also drive and have an estate car with a large boot, so there’s plenty of room for dogs to travel safely and comfortably. I’m also available for drop-in pet visits, whether your pet needs feeding, some playtime, company, cuddles or just a little bit of attention while you’re out. Since rehoming our dog, I’ve really missed having a furry friend to take on walks, discovering new places to explore together and giving them all the love, care and attention they deserve. When we had our dog, we would go out every day and find somewhere new to explore, whether that was the beach, woods or country parks. He absolutely loved going on adventures, meeting other dogs and having lots of exciting new smells to investigate! I would really love the opportunity to share those walks and adventures with another dog and give them the same love and happiness that I gave to our own. 🐾❤️ We live in a spacious two-bedroom flat with access to a communal garden area. Pets are welcome on the beds and sofas — our dog used to sleep in bed with us, so we’re more than happy for your dog to do the same if they’re comfortable. I’m happy to administer flea and worming treatments if needed. We don’t currently have a crate, as we got rid of ours because our dog found it distressing, but I’m more than happy to use your crate if your dog is happy and comfortable being crated. Our dog suffered from severe separation anxiety, so I completely understand how difficult and stressful this can be for both dogs and their owners. I was unable to leave him alone, and he came everywhere with us. If your dog experiences separation anxiety, please be assured that I will not leave them alone and will do everything I can to make them feel safe, settled and comfortable. I can also provide home visits, including check-ins, walks, playtime and feeding, if that’s what your pet needs. 🐾

“My dog Leo absolutely loved his day with David, he can be unsettled when in unknown environments for the first few times & David made an effort to even come & do a meet & greet beforehand out of his own time & was very understanding. He is reliable, friendly, accommodating & very kind, you can tell he has a real passion and just loves dogs which makes you feel so comfortable leaving your beloved pet with him. Would 100% use again!”

About: I do all services, but NONE at my home. I can come to you! I had a rescue German shepherd dog since I was young. We took her to training and agility classes. I have dog sat and dog walked for people a few times. I have worked in childcare for 3+ years and I still am. I have availability on Mondays. I am available some evenings after work at 5pm and I am available at weekends. I love all dogs and other small animals. I would prefer to dogsit at the owners home (s) if possible. I would make sure that food that is not dog food is out of reach and they wouldn't climb on anything, furniture etc. that they are not supposed to.

“When we first met Deb we knew straight away that she and Freddie would be a good fit. Freddie has had a day stay and recently overnight for 2 nights. Deb treats Freddie as her own, going for long walks and enjoying each other's company. I would definitely recommend. Paula”
