“We boarded Cody with Chelsea for a couple of days over New Yrs Eve. She went above and beyond and did so much to make sure our dog was comfortable and happy including stick to his training. We were updated with pictures and messages throughout his stay and from the pictures, we could tell he was happy and felt safe. We would highly recommend and will definitely board Cody with her again!”

“Before our experience with Gary, we had never used Rover or done boarding before. My partner was initially very anxious, however when it came to meeting Gary for an introduction, immediately our minds were put at ease. Our Cocker Spaniel ‘Stanley’ was with Gary for 7 nights and every morning Gary would take the time out to write us a message to let us know how Stanley had been, which immediately reassured us. We got frequent messages throughout the day and pictures to see what the pair had been up to. We would highly recommend Gary to anyone considering boarding for their dog and will definitely be reusing him in the future.”

“Hannah and Matt were amazing with our two dogs. They took them on walks every day, gave treats on Christmas Day, and loads of love and attention - we couldn’t have asked for more! The dogs were happy and the regular feedback via messages and videos made us feel connected to the dogs even though far away. They are real dog-lovers and we recommend them as trustworthy, reliable and friendly dog sitters.”

“Danielle is great and really communicative in the lead up to tigger’s stay and during his stay, I received regular picture updates. Tigger had a great time and was at ease from the moment he arrived!”

“We couldn't be more thrilled with the care Sean provided for our Vizsla, Coco. From the moment we dropped her off, Shaun was professional, attentive, and clearly passionate about dogs. Throughout Coco's stay, Sean kept us updated with numerous pictures and messages, which reassured us that she was in great hands. It was wonderful to see Coco having such a good time, and it truly made our time away from her much more enjoyable. We wholeheartedly recommend Sean to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter. His dedication and love for dogs are evident in every interaction, and we will definitely be using his services again in the future. Thank you, Sean, for taking such fantastic care of Coco!”

“Both dogs loved Ian and his family. They were looked after so well and given their meds when needed. We had regular updates and photos which really put our minds at ease. Would definitely use Ian again”

“Christopher was an easygoing and flexible host. He was also very communicative, sending daily updates about Rocco. Rocco seemed to have a good match with him and Nina. We will definitely consider him for any future bookings! Once again, thank you for having Rocco for the last 5 days.”

“Loki enjoyed his stay, got lots of belly rubs, walks, cuddles and more. Roksana put my mind at ease knowing he was going to be looked after really well. Got lovely updates along the way and quick and consistent replies which was good too. Would 100% recommend if you are looking for a pet sitter, would definitely be bringing loki back in the future.”

“Lucy & Chris are the best dog sitters. Initial communication was great and they were happy to come out to do a meet and great with our dogs beforehand. During their stay we were kept updated with pics and messages. Would highly recommend. Stanley & Pumpkin will definitely be returning.”

“Would definitely recommend and use Ayan's services again. Our Maltese dog, Milo, stayed with Ayan and his family for a week while we were on holiday. They looked after him very well and we got regular updates, photos and even videos, more than once a day at times. Thank you again for taking such good care of our fur baby.”

About: I’ve always lived with dogs - childhood pets, dog sitting when studying and now having my own dogs. Currently we have a young setter whom we trained from a puppy. I have experience in looking after a range of dogs but the majority of my experience is with spaniels (my previous dog was a springer spaniel), retrievers and Labrador’s and their needs. I’m used to high energy dogs who need lots of walking and game playing. I have experienced first hand the transformation in a dog once it has sufficient exercise and stimulation, so will always look to ensure that your dog has enough walking and play. Our setter has suffered from separation anxiety, so I very aware of the challenges of this & the resulting behaviour. We have worked hard to overcome this & with the right routine in place can now leave him for a couple of hours. We are also working very hard with his recall & making progress, I have honestly found training a ongoing personal achievement and has strengthened our bond hugely. With active dogs, in and out of puddles etc. I am very aware regular brushing is essential to keep their coat untangled and clean. Personally I think this is a lovely way to spent sometime with your dog when they are calm in the evening and happy to spend time with your dog in this way. I’m work from home part time supporting my partners carpentry business. I have two children (4&7) so have school runs twice a day. I’m around the majority of the day otherwise. I walk our dog after school drop off for at least an hour, we go to local open spaces or drive to the country parks. I will take him for another shorter walk either before pick up or later in the day once my partner is home. I'm happy to take additional walks if this is needed for your dog or play scent games in the house & when I'm home they are always free to go in the garden. I have a two year old friendly neutered male English Setter in my home. He likes all dogs and if they are energetic he will play with them. If they are senior he respects this and is gentle. I walk with him for over an hour a day and often go for runs. I can walk other dogs with or without him. If your dog was in our home, they would be in the same space as him on the ground floor and in the garden. Dogs are not allowed upstairs in the bedrooms but provide beds in each room, so they are able to to be with me throughout the day & are not left alone. Whilst the dog will never be left alone around the children (and my children have been around dogs all their lives), it will need to be happy to be in a family environment. Our setter (like a Labrador) is happy to try and eat anything! During mealtimes, our dog and any visiting dogs will be put in a different room. He is a counter surfer and so surfaces and tables are clear of food aside from mealtimes, so they do not get anything that might upset their tummies. I'm very vigilant on keeping any non dog friendly foods well away (raisins, chocolate etc.)
“Shara was brilliant, looking after our 2, 6 months old jack Russells for a day and night. We were quite nervous as this was the first time we left the dogs with another person. But Shara was really nice, gave regular updates and photos whilst we were away. Our dogs, Loki and Crowley seemed to have a great time. Will definitely book again and definitely recommend.”

“Phenomenal service. Harry became instant friends with Bonny’s family and has never had a better holiday. From twice daily walks at the Lakes to travels in the car. To all afternoon cuddles and naps in the cosy. As you can see from his picture, he was well worn out. Already booking our next trip. Cannot recommend highly enough”

“As our dog has some behavioural issues, so we were worried no one would be willing to look after him for 5 days, but Dorota was more than willing to try. We got constant updates including photos and videos which helped since we missed him. She was very sweet and Teddy seemed to love her!”

“Terry went above and beyond to ensure that my nervous cat was well looked after. All check ins were completed with photos and detail about the visits, and I returned home from my trip to a very content cat! Thank you Terry.”

“Laura looked after our cat for 10 days whilst we went away recently and I can’t fault the service. Great communication, great updates and it defo gave us peace of mind. We’ll defo rebook when we’re away again! Thanks Laura!”

“Hazel was truly amazing!!! Our cat was pregnant and unfortunately we had already got a holiday booked. We left our pregnant kitty safe in Hazel’s care. She gave us twice daily video updates, she was knowledgeable, intuitive and paid great attention to detail, knowing our cat was going to give birth any day soon whilst we were away! The kittens were so well looked after as was mum, all their needs were met. It’s fair to say Hazel went above and beyond, doing lots of other little jobs such as turning lights on, washing blankets, charging batteries etc. She helped make sure our ‘kitty camera’ was always in the right place & that the kittens had fresh bedding, mummy was given lots of special time and rewards/treats. It made us feel so happy and reassured. We never had to worry once. If anything I would look forward to the next update, it made us feel like home wasn’t far away and that our Cat and her kittens were being looked after exactly the same as we would have looked after them! Hazel made it such a great inclusive experience. Her communication is fantastic. Also a massive thank you to her partner, as he supported Hazel in looking after our little brood. What an amazing team, thank you. We look forward to having you look after our cats again. Couldn’t ask for more”

“Faith was absolutely AMAZING with my little terror of a kitty! She sent updates and photos at every single visit, which gave me so much peace of mind while we were away. My cat genuinely doesn’t like anyone, but she clearly loved Faith’s company and that alone speaks volumes. Faith truly went above and beyond by also helping my fiancé with his fish tank, which we appreciated so much. I would 100% book Faith again without hesitation and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a kind, reliable, and attentive sitter! 🐾✨”

“We would highly recommend Angela, our cats were looked after exactly how we wished for. Angela was caring, reliable, carried out duties exactly as discussed and we wouldn’t hesitate to trust Angela with our kitties again! Lee & Sylwia”

“Eleni is very attentive and very communicative. Since meeting her we have felt very happy with her service and her treatment of our French Bulldog. Would highly recommend to anyone!!”

About: Over the years I've adopted many rescue cats, my 10 year old tabby was rescued from the side of a road at approximately 6 weeks old. He has never left my side since. I've also looked after friends cats whilst they are away, often timid and needing reassurance and calmness which leads on to them trusting me and enjoying cuddles.

“Chadni looked after our cat, Max, for 5 days. We're very happy with her service, and we'll definitely ask her to look after Max again if needed in the future. She sent lots of photos and videos during the boarding, so we didn't need to worry while we were away. Thanks again Chadni :)”

About: I've had a strong connection with animals since childhood, and over time this has grown into a genuine focus on calm, reliable cat care. I specialise in cats, offering both drop-in visits and house sitting, and I always prioritise keeping each cat's normal routine and environment as consistent as possible to help reduce stress while their owner is away. I've cared for a wide range of personalities, from independent and reserved cats to affectionate and social ones, and I adapt my approach to suit each one. Care typically includes feeding, fresh water, litter tray maintenance, enrichment or quiet companionship where appropriate and regular updates for owners. Your cat's wellbeing, safety and routine are always my priority. My focus is simple: consistent, calm in-home care that keeps cats comfortable and owners reassured while they're away.

I'm available for boarding on weekends and may be able to do the occasional week days if given enough notice. I do live in a flat but it is very spacious. I have plenty of fields near by and grassy areas outside for them to go to the toilet.

Perfect for high energy dogs - Medway
Prices are estimates per day for 1 dog. Pricing may vary based on your search and includes a booking fee of 11%.
About: I have cared for small and medium dogs (from very nervous to very energetic) through rover, including walking weekly and boarding for up to 10 days, I make sure to let the dogs out to potty every 1-2 hours and I typically walk them at 6/7am and around 5/6pm (during boarding). I am located near Gillingham high street, so the Great lines is on my doorstep. Drop me a text if you need a pet that requires walks/boarding/drop ins and I will let you know my availability as it may change weekly dependant on my uni schedule. I am currently studying for my Masters in Forensic Psychology, so I am at University two times a week. I am always happy to meet prior to booking, so that we can discuss your dog’s needs, their behaviour towards other dogs and their typical schedule. My busiest days are Thursday and Friday, so I typically get back at 7pm but I always make time for pets so that they can have one or two walks per day. Other than that my schedule is free so I can spoil your dog with attention and lots of play. In terms of boarding, I have a fenced garden so I can take dogs for regular potty breaks with no problem. I usually walk dogs twice a day. I make sure to play with the dogs and try to teach them new tricks, so don’t forget to bring their favourite ball/toy and other necessities like treats 😊 I like to educate myself on the best ways to keep dogs mentally and physically stimulation, whether that hiding treats in blankets or freezing carrots so your pet can work for their rewards. If there’s anything similar to this that you like to do with your dog, I am happy to take on new suggestions and try them out.
“Felicity went above and beyond to care for my Molly at short notice. Molly was so well looked after. Felicity and her family were wonderful and clearly gave her lots of love, along with lovely Ash. About: I’ve been a pet owner for many years and currently have two Cockapoos aged 7 and 5 I’m very comfortable looking after smaller to medium sized breeds of dogs and will only ever look after yours and mine no one else’s . I let my dogs on the furniture and they sleep on my bed I believe a dog is a member of the family and treat as such . Also happy to give them their own bed if that’s what they are used to . Both myself and husband work from home so there will always be someone with your dog. I believe in treating your furbabies like I would my own lots of cuddles and enrichment and walks and would be happy to send photos. I would always suggest a meet and greet to make sure your dog gets on with mine this could involve a few hours or half day sitting them . Happy to administer medication if required and I have a well stocked first aid cupboard . My family love dogs and although we also have a cat she lives upstairs and stays out the way mostly. I have a pet gate so the dogs can’t chase her as dogs can be inquisitive. I have a fenced off garden with a separate fenced off patio and dog flaps if your dog knows how to use , otherwise I will let them out as a when need to toilet . I realise trusting your dog with someone can be a big thing and it would be an honour to look after your furbaby (ies) As I have two of my own dogs , yours would fit in with my usual walks and routine , however if your dog has a special requirements then please let me know . Both my husband and I work from home a few days a week so there would always no someone here with them . I have a fenced patio with dog flaps if your dog knows how to use but will also be able to let them out for wee breaks if they don’t know how to use a dog flap. I also have a fenced off garden so double fenced .

“Our first 2 training walks with faith have been amazing. She has so much patience and I. Can highly recommend her. Training a reactive dog is so lonely and hard and faith is giving us hope for the future”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was little. My family and friends always rely on me to help out with their pets. I would absolutely love to own a dog myself but with being a teacher 4 days a week I feel that it wouldn’t be fair. I’m a primary school teacher working 4 days a week and would be available in the evenings and all day on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday I have a secure fenced garden for any dogs that come to my house. I am also willing to come and spend time at your house.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I cannot imagine my life without them. Growing up, my family had cats, hamsters, and guinea pigs before I finally convinced my parents to let me have my beautiful Labrador, Reuben. Since then, my love for animals has only grown. I’ve been trusted by friends, family and neighbours to care for their pets since I was around 11 years old, and I love spending time with animals. Whether it’s a puppy bursting with energy or an older dog who prefers a slower pace. I am happy to adapt to their personalities and routines. I am experienced in caring for dogs from 8-week old puppies through to frail senior dogs, including administering medication when needed. I know that every pet is different, so I will always take the time to make sure they feel safe, comfortable and well looked after. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care, and I treat every animal with the same kindness, patience and attention that I’d want for my own. I have a flexible routine that allows me to offer daytime pet visits and dog walks throughout the week. I carefully schedule bookings around my own dogs needs to ensure that I can give every pet my full attention and provide reliable, unhurried care. As I’m currently only offering pet visits and dog walks, I will be caring for your pet in the environment they know and feel most comfortable in- their own home. I understand how important it is to trust someone with both your pet and your home. I will always follow your instructions carefully, whether that’s feeding routines, administering medication, refreshing water or making sure your pet gets the exercise, playtime or quiet company they need. Your pet’s safety and wellbeing will always come first. I’ll make sure doors, gates and windows are secure, keep walks safe and suited to your dogs needs, and treat your home with the same care and respect as I would my own. I will also keep you updated with messages and photos after each visit, so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, safe and well looked after.
About: I have had at least one dog in my life ever year since I was born due to being raised in a family of dog owners. Only up until recently when my jack russell, Molly passed away, have I been without a dog. Unfortunately my role as manager within the civil service means my work schedule does not allow me the time to care for a dog of my own full time. However I have two-three work from home days a week and often spend my weekends reading, writing or going for walks in the local area so I thought it be a good opportunity to offer my services to those who may need short term dog sitting. I have often dog and cat sat for family members and friends over the years, making it a little side hussle from the age of 18. My friends would often joke saying I prefer the company of a pet over humans, and I can say they are probably correct. I would welcome each pet into my home with love and care, ensuring they feel safe and have the best sleepovers they could possibly wish for. Also always happy to update with lots of pictures! I work at least 2 days from home a week but can be more on occasion and also have most weekends free. These dates do change depending on work schedule. I live in a spacious two bed flat, that has a shared fenced garden. However, I love going on walks so I will walk your dogs as often as you require them too. I will keep them stimulated with toys and provide them with a comfortable place to sleep. I wish to provide a space for your dogs to feel safe, happy and cared for.

About: For the past 6 years I lived with my partners family who included 10 dogs, 20+ guinea pigs, 3 chickens, a hamster and a pig. Safe to say I love animals! I now live with my partner and our little corgi Liz. The 10 dogs were dachshunds, chihuahuas, Pomeranian, pekingese, French bulldog and an Afghan hound. I worked from home so was one of the primary carers for the dogs and I absolutely loved it. I have cared for them through all the good times and the bad. I have experience with a range of their healthcare issues including slipped discs, seizures, administering medications and partial paralysis. This has made me learn a lot about the dogs and given me insight into how to manage the unexpected. I’m currently on maternity leave until April 2027 so have great availability. Once back at work I work 3 days in an office and the rest from home so would be able to easily fit in your besties around my schedule. I have a securely fenced garden and the friendliest corgi to keep any friends company. She gets along with every dog she meets and loves to play. I have separation gates so if needed I can keep your furry friend separated from my dog, if they prefer to be alone for any reason. Pet safety and happiness is my priority, so I always have lots of water bowls, cool mats and stimulating toys for them available. I also have crates available if this is what makes you and your furry friend feel safe and happy.

About: I provide compassionate, attentive care for pets of all ages whilst nurturing playful puppies and kittens. I also support senior pets with gentle, loving routines tailored to their needs. My entire life I have been surrounded by animals big and small, raised at my Grandads farm in Kent, so I’m used to getting mucky on big walks and hiking. It’s a great way to create happy memories and appreciate nature. I have a lot of time and love for animals, I provide as much care as I needed and then more for each furry friend. I currently work in Publishing but as I’m mainly a remote worker, I’m regularly out for walks early mornings and during the day As a remote worker, I have plenty of time and flexibility to care for your pets. Pet sitting and walking fits perfectly into my schedule. I have a fenced garden with two cats so the pets will be safe. This is a plain garden with lots of room to roam
About: I've grown up with dogs, my dog as a teen was my best friend. We went everywhere together and she was always by my side, so I truly know how much a dog becomes part of a family and how much they mean to you. I've also had multiple rescue cats over 20 years, my current cat i found at 6 weeks old and hes now 10. Im always nervous to leave him so completely understand if you are too. 4 years ago I started looking after other people's dogs and soon gained regular dog sitting. I also took on 2 dogs as a temporary foster care while the owner was unwell. Taking care of dogs isn't just a job, it's a passion. At the moment im at home so can provide care for your pets majority of the day. Unfortunately due to having an elderly cat i can't accommodate any animals in my own home, but im more than happy to pet sit in the pets own home. I also have 2 children who loves animals just as much as i do, they've been taught how to take care of animals and know how to respect an animals boundaries. I currently have availability between 9 and 2 on weekdays without my children but if your pets are good with kids then these hours can be extended later and during weekends. My children absolutely adore animals and know how to care for them. Unfortunately due to having an elderly cat, I can't accept dogs into my home. I will follow any routine that your pet needs in your home, follow any guidance on how your dog is walked, personalities, etc. And I will take care of them just like I would my own.
About: I have over five and a half years of hands-on experience caring for cats and dogs, both in my own home and in owners’ homes. I come from a strong rescue background; we cared for over 30 cats at a time, rehomed cats internationally, and regularly rescued cats from the streets. For more than two years, I personally managed to feed almost 50–60 stray cats every evening, ensuring food, clean water, hygiene, and regular monitoring of their health and wellbeing with a friend's help, who was providing food. This taught me responsibility, consistency, and deep compassion for animals. I have also provided trusted in-home pet sitting for many families. Owners regularly chose me when travelling because they wanted their pets to stay comfortable in their own environment. I stayed in their homes for short and long periods, caring for cats and dogs, following routines, administering food, walking dogs, playing, and providing companionship. I always send daily photo and video updates so owners feel reassured and connected. I understand how emotionally difficult it can be to leave a pet behind, and I take that trust very seriously. I am calm, patient, observant, and genuinely passionate about animal welfare. My goal is to give pets love, safety, routine, and comfort, and to give owners complete peace of mind. I’m a university student with morning classes on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays. I’m free most evenings and other days, flexible, reliable, and always prioritise pets’ safety. I had many cats back home and took care of the dogs of my neighbors and people from social media. I follow each pet’s routine exactly, learn their food, walks, and habits beforehand, arrive on time, and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved.
About: I've had dogs and cats all through my childhood as my family are all huge animal lovers. The dog that we had for most of my childhood was an English Pointer with epilepsy. We gave her long walks and soothed her and made sure she was safe when she went into convulsions. I absolutely adore the happiness and companionship and loyalty that dogs give and combined with being a big fan of walking, It is probably the reason why dogs have awarded me the best dog walker title year in and year out. I am caring, fun, happy and energetic-just like dogs! I am studying for a Creative Writing PhD-writing a novel which features a large cast of dogs of course! The life of a writer is all from home, so I have a lot of freedom and flexibility to walk and care for dogs and other animals. As I said I have cared for an epileptic dog, as well as a dog that is on 'heat'. I have also cared for timid pets with trauma as well as big dogs with boundless energy and have trained all my dogs to sit and lie down. I am respectful to the owner's individual instructions of how they specifically want you to handle and look after their pet.
“Eleni is an amazing dog walker! My frenchie Rosie can get very anxious with new people but Eleni was so patient and gentle and managed to get Rosie to calm down and warm to her too! I received constant updates and pictures during their walk which really helped ease my mind! Would definitely recommend and would absolutely use her services again!”

“Christopher was an easygoing and flexible host. He was also very communicative, sending daily updates about Rocco. Rocco seemed to have a good match with him and Nina. We will definitely consider him for any future bookings! Once again, thank you for having Rocco for the last 5 days.”

About: Based in the Gillingham (Kent). I have taken care of many types of dogs and cats since I was a child. “Ace spent 8 nights with Natalie. She sent through regular photos and updates. We could see how well Ace was doing and how happy he was. It meant we could enjoy our holiday without worrying about the dog!”

“Joey really enjoyed staying with Kinga. It was our first time leaving Joey with a sitter but the experience has been great. We got updates on how Joey was doing which I think is a really lovely touch. Will definitely be reaching out to Kinga in the future if I ever need Joey to be looked after again 😁”

About: Hi! I grew up with dogs in Spain and have been caring for them since I was 11 walking, training, feeding, you name it. I’ve also looked after friends’ and family’s pups for years, and earlier this year I adopted my own mini sausage dog. She’s well trained, gentle, and loves company once she’s had an intro. If boarding, I ask for 2–3 meet-ups so both dogs can get comfortable. My partner also works from home full-time, so someone is always around to give your dog care and attention. I’m happy to help however I can, being around dogs is genuinely the best part of my day! 🐾 Typical 9-5 girl. Working from home most days along with my bf . We live in a house with garden and love finding friends for Nina. I will follow any instructions you give me and give the love and guidance to your little or big ones. If you want me to take your dog in for a few nights, we need to discuss that a bit futerh and make them to meet nina prior so everyhting goes smothly
“Emily was just so friendly, kind and flexible, with such short notice she had Tilly overnight. Emily was so gentle with Tilly. Emily gave me updates and all was well. When I picked Tilly up she was all ready to go and I think Emily waa a little sad to see her go, we will definitely be using Emily again. Tilly certainly had a fab time.”

“Laura and family looked after Teddy very well. They have sent lots of pictures and took Teddy for long walks. Teddy had a great time. I definitely recommend Laura and her family. Thank you again for accommodating us especially knowing Teddy has special a special dietary requirement and medication.”
