Fully licensed for dog boarding reference 26/07168/AL00 AIMQualification level 2 in canine care and welfare Public liability insured. I have had dogs for over 20 years. My last dog passed away recently. I miss the company of dogs. I am retired but active. I walked my dogs every day, up to 3 miles, depending on the weather and temperature. Our home is securely fenced and gated all round . We have a large garden and plenty of places to walk locally. Your dog will be fitted with a GPS tracker on their collar for their stay. I have a doggy paddling pool for hot weather. We look after our granddaughter every Monday. She has her own dog and is fine around dogs. I completely appreciate that your dog is a valued part of your family, so rest assured he or she will be well looked after. He or she will have the run of the house and can sleep with us or separately depending on your requirements. Although I have specified one dog per stay, I am happy with 2 dogs if they already live together. Please note . All owners must provide sight of vaccination certificate. If you make an enquiry and decide not to continue with it, would you be so kind as to let me know. We have air conditioning, cool mats, engagement toys. We disinfect between sittings as per licensing requirements. We take dog care seriously!!

This is the third time Gary has looked after Toffee and once again he’s done an amazing job. We always feel completely comfortable leaving her with him, and he keeps us really well updated while we’re away, which is brilliant. Most importantly, Toffee absolutely loves being with Gary and his wife and always seems so happy and settled with them. It’s a massive peace of mind knowing she’s being so well looked after. Would 100% recommend Gary and we’ll definitely be using him again. Thank you both for taking such great care of Toffee!
Yoda stayed with Gary for a week and loved being there. He is usually very nervous with new people but settled in immediately. We will definitely be using Gary again next time we need a dog sitter.

Schedule
I am retired so am at home all day. This means I can give your dog full attention, walking, playing and cuddling meeting all engagement needs.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a large, fenced and secure garden. Locally there are woods farmland and parks. I would prefer to keep your dog on a lead as recall can be difficult if the pet is not familiar with the walker. I hold a dog first aid kit and wound treatment.
A typical day
I will take your dogs for walks locally varying the route and location through the local country park, woods or estate up to 3 miles a day. Your dog will be fitted the as GPS tracker on their collar. Having a large garden ball games are always on the menu.

- Licensing requires a completed booking form . I can e-mail this to you in advance but must be completed and handed to me when you drop your dog off. I need to know age and any specific dietary requirements, how much exercise they need. Any medications and any behavioural issues - just need to know but it doesn’t stop me from looking after a dog with any issues. I do need to be assured all dogs have been treated for worms and fleas. A booking form will need to be completed in advance of the stay. This can be provided at the meet and greet or via e-mail
