Love, Routine & Woodland Walks!
Hello! My name is Zarala, and I offer animal-friendly home boarding, dog walking, and home visit services in a warm and caring environment. Home Visits These include feeding, fresh water, brushing, dog walks, litter changes, administering medication, watering plants, and collecting post. Visits typically last between 45–60 minutes, depending on your needs. Boarding Boarding is for a full 24 hours. The number of animals I can accommodate depends on various factors, such as age, size, temperament, my schedule, and the specific needs of your pet. I usually only board one dog at a time. While my calendar may show availability, I may still have to decline a request depending on individual circumstances—so please feel free to message me any time to check. Dog Walks Walks are one hour long. I can drive and am very well known in the local parks and woodlands, as I spend much of my time outdoors. If you're local, you’ve probably seen me out and about! A Bit About Me My beloved Golden Retriever, Pelusa (12), and my cat Trasto (16) passed away recently, and we truly miss the daily routine and companionship. While we are not ready to have another dog of my own just yet, opening my home to yours is perfect! Why Choose Me? Experienced & Qualified: Certified in Dog First Aid and Animal Care, DBS checked and registered with the Update Service. Regular Updates: I send photos and videos during walks or stays so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well looked after. Trusted Locally: Known and trusted in the Rochester area, with regular visits to green spaces like Jackson’s Field, The Vines, Ranscombe Farm and Capstone Park. Thank you so much to Zarala and Alex for looking after Bella so well! She had the best time with you both, going on lovely long walks, playing in your garden and playing with you both with her toys, especially “Tug”, which is her absolute favourite and she loved all her cuddles and strokes, thank you . Zarala sent me lots of photos and videos everyday, which was lovely to see her so settled and happy and reassured me, when I knew she was having a great time and was being looked after so well. I can’t thank you both enough for your genuine love and care that you gave her and I don’t think she actually wanted to come home, that’s how happy she was! 😊
We couldn’t have asked for a more amazing couple to look after our dog. We were kept updated with messages and photos. They took him on beautiful countryside and woodland walks and looked after him so well. Thank you Zarala and Alex!
Zarala was amazing with our Cocker Milo, it was if he had his own little holiday. She took him on plenty of walks and continually looked after him. She was also great at keeping us updated with plenty of photos of all the fun they were having. We highly recommend her and will definitely use her again in the future. Milo can't wait to go back!

Zarala and Alex were amazing. They were genuinely keen to make Maisie feel at home and happy to follow her routine. Maisie is an energetic young dog but was walked frequently and had lots of play. We were kept up to date on how Maisie was getting on with lots of photos and videos. Maisie is looking forward to her next visit
I cannot recommend Zara and Alex highly enough for dog boarding. They took exceptional care of my dog, Skye, who can be a little anxious, is particular about her routine, and absolutely loves games. From the moment I left, they sent reassuring updates — photos, videos, and messages several times a day — so I always knew she was settled, happy, and clearly very loved. They followed her routine perfectly, took her on long walks, played all her favourite games, and made sure she felt completely at home. Skye even slept on their bed and made herself comfortable on their sofa, which tells you everything about how safe and relaxed she felt with them. Alex was brilliant with her (I think Skye stole most of his attention), and Zara was wonderfully attentive and gentle — together they created the ideal environment for a dog who needs a bit of extra understanding. Skye came home calm, content, and clearly very loved. If you’re looking for people who genuinely care and go above and beyond, Zara and Alex are exceptional! I will certainly be a return customer, and I really can’t recommend them enough to care for your baby. Thank you both so much. xx

Schedule
In most cases, there is always someone at home. We only look after dogs when we know that at least one of us will be at home. If for any reason we both need to be out working or away for the day, we unfortunately do not accept bookings. We are very honest about this, as we would never feel comfortable leaving a dog alone at home for long periods of time. We will always do our very best to help whenever we can.

Safety, trust & environment
We are both caring and attentive to the needs of your four-legged companions, and we’ll make sure they feel completely at home—whether they’re staying, playing, or just out for a walk! Photos and videos will always be available for you, as I understand how important it is to stay connected with your pet while you're away. For the peace of mind of all my lovely dogs and their families, I am certified in Dog First Aid and Animal Care (certificates available), and I am also DBS-checked and registered with the Update Service. There is an indoor & outdoor camera in the house so I can keep an eye on your best friend at all times. In case of emergency (which has never happened so far), two of my neighbours have spare keys and can be here within seconds. I’d love to arrange a Meet & Greet to introduce myself and learn more about your little one!
A typical day
We know the best parks and woodlands in and around Rochester, and we’re always out having fun! Whether it’s a peaceful stroll through Jackson’s Field, an adventure in The Vines, or exploring the trails of Ranscombe Farm Nature Reserve or Capstone Farm Country Park, your dog will enjoy varied walks in beautiful surroundings. We’re also happy to drive to your dog’s favourite spot in the area—just let us know!
