I've grown up around dogs my whole life, having two gorgeous weimeraners from the age of 6 until I was 17. I bring a calm, gentle approach to every routine: exercise, mealtimes, and reinforcing good habits. I currently care for my sister's Labrador every Wednesday, which has given me real hands-on experience managing reactive dogs with patience and positive reinforcement, his recall and leash manners have improved hugely under my care. I offer dog walking, pet sitting in my home, and drop in visits, and I treat every dog with the same attention and care I'd want for my own. Your pet's comfort, safety, and happiness always come first.

I have a fenced garden, so dogs in my care have safe outdoor space to play and relieve themselves throughout the day. I don't have pets of my own, which means your dog gets my full attention without sharing space or competing for it. I'm always happy to arrange a meet and greet before booking, so your dog can get used to me and I can get to know them. Communication is a priority, you'll get regular updates and photos so you know exactly how your dog is doing.

Moose had an excellent time with Shannon thank you so much. He played lots ate his lunch and we got pics and videos.
My 2-year-old Cockapoo, Coco, had her first 3-hour play session with Shannon, and I couldn't be happier with how it went. I very rarely leave Coco with anyone, so I was quite nervous, but Shannon was so kind and reassuring, keeping me updated throughout her stay with photos and messages. It was lovely to see how quickly Coco settled in. It's such a relief to know she's happy and well looked after, and I've already booked two more sessions for her to go to Shannons home . Shannon is such a lovely, caring lady, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for someone they can trust with their dog.
I have a 9-month old puppy Millie who Shannon looks after regularly; Millie loves going to Shannon’s and spending time with her. Shannon gives her all the love and attention that Millie needs and I trust her completely to keep Millie safe. Shannon is excellent at updating me whilst Millie is with her, and is always on hand when we may need her services! I’d definitely recommend Shannon to anyone seeking check-in, walks or dog-sitting.
Shannon has looked after our two whippets, Willow and Ziggy, on multiple occasions, and I have always been extremely happy with the care she provides. I feel completely confident in her handling of them and, more importantly, both dogs adore her. Shannon is affectionate, reliable, sensible, and genuinely attentive to each dog’s individual needs. One of our dogs can be reactive towards other dogs when on the lead, and Shannon manages this with exceptional calmness, compassion, and confidence. She has always handled him thoughtfully and responsibly, ensuring he feels secure while maintaining control of the situation. I would not hesitate to recommend Shannon to anyone looking for a trustworthy and capable dog carer.

Schedule
I work from home on Mondays and Fridays, which gives me plenty of flexibility to fit in walks, feeding, and playtime throughout the day. I currently look after my sister's labrador every Wednesday, including two walks a day plus feeding and basic training, so daily routines and exercise are already part of my week. I'm happy to arrange care around your dog's normal schedule and keep things as consistent as possible for them. My sister's labrador is reactive so I have experience of working with reactive dogs, with patience (and a few treats), I have managed to significantly improve his recall, leash etiquette and taught him some basic tricks. I work on his reactivity with each chance I get, rewarding positively for positive interactions with dogs and keeping focus on me during times where he could have become reactive.
