Loving home with flexible availability
I am and always will be a dog lover who is passionate about caring for them. My experience in Dog Care is from having my own dogs as well as caring for friends dogs over the years and my partner has been working in Animal Rescue for 5 years which has also taught me a lot. I have always been exposed to various types of dogs ever since I was a child. I grew up living with 2 energetic weimaraners and also cared for my trustworthy golden retriever for 5 years as a teenager, up until I moved away from home when I was 18. Even in my adult life now I have recently cared for a rescue Jack Russel Terrier from the RSPCA. He had a lot of behavioural issues and anxieties but I tried my best to tend to his needs and make him feel at ease up until the day we sadly had to say goodbye. I have a lot of patience when working with dogs and want to offer them the best love and care possible depending on their specific needs. I believe it is very important to care for and treat dogs on an individual basis, as every dog is different and has different needs that need to be considered, whether that is excercise, play time, foods or just resting.

Margaux is absolutely brilliant! We had a meet and greet before our dog Winnie boarded with her, and we immediately felt so much calmer about leaving her. She’s very knowledgable about dogs, our Winnie is quite anxious and has some separation anxiety and she knew exactly how to deal with it. Winnie stayed with her for two weeks, and came back happy and calm! Margaux kept us updated with pictures everyday, and we could tell Winnie had a lovely holiday. We would definitely recommend Margaux and will be using her again!
Margaux has done an amazing job looking after our mini dachsund who is recovering from IVDD surgery and has very special requirements. Margaux is very empathetic, understanding and took time to listen to all of our instructions and take care of Lana to keep her happy and safe on walks. Margaux really has a genuine love for dogs and we’ve found her to be super communicative and reliable and we look forward to her pet sitting Lana regularly. There is nobody else we would put our trust in. Her genuine kindness and compassion truly makes her one of a kind.
Margaux is lovely, communicated well throughout the booking and during her walk with our dog. Would definitely rebook Margaux to look after our dog again!

Schedule
I work from home, unless I decide to go into the office on Tuesdays & Thursdays but that's flexible. I am able to organise my work schedule the way that suits me, which means I am very flexible with times during the day. I can go for walks, play or take care of pets and can give them all the attention they need.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a flat that is quite spacious but the biggest room would be my bedroom/ office. I have enough space to take care of 1 pet, that can stay with me and I'll be able to walk them regularly. I have a courtyard with a green area for when they need a quick wee but also have 3 parks near my house that are only a 10 - 20 min walk away max. I currently don't have any pets of my own, so your pet would be my priority and also don't have any children.
A typical day
I have a 2 main dog friendly parks nearby, which are only a 10 minute walk away from my house. I enjoy going for dog walks there, as the dogs have enough space to exercise, play and also meet other friendly dogs along the way.

- I get along well with all types of dogs but in order to care for them properly, I like to know more about the dogs personality traits such as, whether they like to socialise with other dogs, children or people? Do they have a favourite toy? Do they have any particular anxieties or fears ie separation anxiety, fear of objects etc? Any information you could provide to help me understand your pets personality better would be much appreciated.
