We had an unexpected emergency that required us to be away longer than planned, and he was kind and reassuring, happily accepting the extended stay without any hesitation. Don Don was clearly in great hands (super friendly environment, lots of attention), and we received plenty of photo updates throughout the stay, which really put us at ease. About: After many years in the corporate world, I recently retired and decided it was finally time to do something I genuinely love, caring for dogs. Dogs have been a huge part of my life, at one point I had four of my own. Caring for them through every stage of life has given me extensive hands-on experience particularly with rescue and senior dogs who need extra patience, understanding and care. Although I am new to Rover, I have spent many years looking after friends' dogs while they travelled, I understand how important it is for owners knowing that dogs are safe, relaxed, cared for. Your dog will stay in a spacious four bedroom house with a large secure garden. Dogs are welcome throughout the house, this is very much a home from home environment with no restrictions on where they can relax or sleep. There are comfortable dog beds around the house, plenty of sofa options if they prefer or my own bed if they so wish. I am fortunate to have four parks within walking distance of my home but I also regularly drive to larger walking areas and country parks where there is more space, quieter routes and plenty of shade during warmer weather. The walks are always tailored to the individual dog I am caring for. The younger and energetic can enjoy adventure walks, while older or senior dogs are given a gentler pace with shorter but more frequent walk. This is not just a business venture for me, it's an opportunity to spend time doing something I really love, giving dogs a caring comfortable home and their owners complete peace of mind. i almost forgot, I am insured and DBS checked. I am at home full time so fully adaptable to your dog's routine. I do have my own dog, she gets two walks a day. The boarded dog would have a minimum of two walk as well, more if needed. 4 bedroom house in Brockley with large secure garden. Many parks all around me. I very often head off to Kent for adventure and beach walks.

From the moment we met them, they were so friendly and welcoming, making sure both my partner and I felt completely comfortable leaving Bailey, our 2-year-old dachshund, in their care, especially as this was the first time we’d left him over night with someone new. They took the time to listen to all our needs and really went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right. It’s so clear how much they truly love dogs, as the care and affection they showed Bailey was amazing. They kept us updated regularly with messages and photos, which was such a comfort, and it was obvious how happy he was with them. They have a large garden, which was ideal for Bailey to have a run around to burn off energy and he loved having a sniff at all the smells in their garden which helped stimulate his brain. They took him on lovely long walks where he saw horses, cows and sheep, played all of his favourite games as well as enrichment activities, and gave him endless cuddles and attention. Bailey came home a very happy (and tired!) little dachshund, which says it all. We’re so grateful to Clare and Jack for looking after him as if he were their own, and we’ll definitely be asking them again in the future!”

About: I’m a real dog person who just loves being around dogs and spending time with them. I’ve had pet dogs since I was a kid, so caring for them has always been a big part of my life. Right now I live with my two-year-old dog, so I’m very used to the daily routine of walks, playtime, and giving them lots of attention. I have been offering boarding and dog walking for many years. You are welcome to come and take a look at our cosy welcoming environment. A daily relaxation live piano music sessions is available for all our boarders (initiated this summer by my daughter). I have looked after puppies and older dog alike. I am able to board up to 3-4 dogs but do contact me if your dog has any specific needs. We are a family home and have 2 children here to keep dogs company and to love them so very dearly. We have found from personal experience that, if they are used to having children in their lives this is rather comforting whilst you are away from them. We love walks in the open spaces near us and have a car to transport all our visiting fur friends if needed further afield. Our boarders will be walked regularly on a daily basis but if you need a specific routine do discuss this with me. I am experienced with off lead dogs that can be recalled however am happy to keep your dog on the lead during walks if you are more comfortable with that (or if your dog cannot be recalled yet). I am home most of the day, so have undivided attention for the pets in my care. I do work 1 day a week (adhoc) from home but this doesn't cause any disruptions. Dogs are free to roam and cuddle up, if your dog has a crate sleeping routine we can accommodate this. If you could bring your crate and comfort items that smell of home that would be ideal for your pet whilst away from home. We have a minature dachshund here with a BIG personality to keep your pet company.

About: Hello, I'm Zoë and I share my home with my own dogs. Dogs have been a huge part of my life for many years, and I have experience caring for dogs of different ages, sizes and personalities. As well as owning dogs myself, I have looked after dogs for friends and family and have volunteered with therapy dog visits in care settings. I have completed canine training and education, including Canine Anatomy and Physiology studies, and I am a KAD (Kids Around Dogs) Approved Professional. I have a particular interest in canine behaviour, wellbeing and helping dogs feel safe, relaxed and comfortable. Your dog will be treated as part of the family during their stay. I only accept one guest booking at a time, which allows me to give each dog plenty of attention and helps ensure a calm environment for both visiting dogs and my own dogs. I do have two resident poodles at home, and I'm always happy to tell owners more about them during our meet and greet so you can decide whether my home is the right fit for your dog. Before accepting a booking, I prefer to arrange a meet and greet so we can make sure everyone is a good fit and your dog feels comfortable in my home. I am generally home-based, so dogs in my care can enjoy regular companionship, toilet breaks and supervision throughout the day. Their stay may include walks, garden time, gentle play, puzzle activities, sniffing games, snuffle/scent work and relaxed downtime. I like dogs to have an enriching but balanced stay. Depending on their needs, confidence and owner preferences, we may visit woodland parks where they can sniff, explore leaves, step over logs and enjoy open space at their own pace. If a dog enjoys socialising, they may have calm opportunities to see other dogs and people. If they are nervous, I always give them space and move away where needed. With owner permission, some stays may also include dog-friendly cafés or park café visits. My home has a fenced garden and a separate fenced patio area, so outdoor space can be adjusted depending on each dog’s confidence and routine. Some dogs enjoy the garden, while others may prefer a smaller patio-style space, especially if they are used to yards rather than grass. For safety, I use a porch system when opening the front door, so visiting dogs are kept secure before anyone enters or leaves. I can also use a stair gate when needed, particularly for dogs who are not used to stairs or may benefit from staying on one level during the day. Dogs have regular access to fresh water, toilet breaks and supervised outdoor time. I only accept one guest booking at a time and always prefer a meet and greet first, so we can make sure my home, routine and resident dogs are the right fit for your dog.

About: We have both owned dogs whilst growing up and currently have one teenage dog, Lexi. So we have many years of experience looking after furry friends! I work from home full time, allowing me time to look after our dog! Meaning I will also have time to spend looking after others! Available throughout the week and most weekends between the two of us. We have one other dog currently, a spaniel mix named Lexi. She is friendly and will welcome other dogs into her home! We have a fenced communal garden which is perfect for toilet breaks and zoomies!

About: After many years in the corporate world, I recently retired and decided it was finally time to do something I genuinely love, caring for dogs. Dogs have been a huge part of my life, at one point I had four of my own. Caring for them through every stage of life has given me extensive hands-on experience particularly with rescue and senior dogs who need extra patience, understanding and care. Although I am new to Rover, I have spent many years looking after friends' dogs while they travelled, I understand how important it is for owners knowing that dogs are safe, relaxed, cared for. Your dog will stay in a spacious four bedroom house with a large secure garden. Dogs are welcome throughout the house, this is very much a home from home environment with no restrictions on where they can relax or sleep. There are comfortable dog beds around the house, plenty of sofa options if they prefer or my own bed if they so wish. I am fortunate to have four parks within walking distance of my home but I also regularly drive to larger walking areas and country parks where there is more space, quieter routes and plenty of shade during warmer weather. The walks are always tailored to the individual dog I am caring for. The younger and energetic can enjoy adventure walks, while older or senior dogs are given a gentler pace with shorter but more frequent walk. This is not just a business venture for me, it's an opportunity to spend time doing something I really love, giving dogs a caring comfortable home and their owners complete peace of mind. i almost forgot, I am insured and DBS checked. I am at home full time so fully adaptable to your dog's routine. I do have my own dog, she gets two walks a day. The boarded dog would have a minimum of two walk as well, more if needed. 4 bedroom house in Brockley with large secure garden. Many parks all around me. I very often head off to Kent for adventure and beach walks.

From the moment we met them, they were so friendly and welcoming, making sure both my partner and I felt completely comfortable leaving Bailey, our 2-year-old dachshund, in their care, especially as this was the first time we’d left him over night with someone new. They took the time to listen to all our needs and really went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right. It’s so clear how much they truly love dogs, as the care and affection they showed Bailey was amazing. They kept us updated regularly with messages and photos, which was such a comfort, and it was obvious how happy he was with them. They have a large garden, which was ideal for Bailey to have a run around to burn off energy and he loved having a sniff at all the smells in their garden which helped stimulate his brain. They took him on lovely long walks where he saw horses, cows and sheep, played all of his favourite games as well as enrichment activities, and gave him endless cuddles and attention. Bailey came home a very happy (and tired!) little dachshund, which says it all. We’re so grateful to Clare and Jack for looking after him as if he were their own, and we’ll definitely be asking them again in the future!”
