Caring, attentive cat lover
I have 3 years experience looking after cats. I've looked after cats of different ages from kittens with lots of energy, who need lots of play, to older girls who want to chill and cuddle. I've taken care of indoor and outdoor cats. I take my time to get to know your cat, finding out their favourite toys, funny habits or anything they should avoid. I will give your kitty lots of love and attention. I believe the little details make a big difference so I take notes on each cat I meet.

Safety, trust & environment
I will find out your cat's routine, feeding times, litter changes and time outside (if they're an outdoor cat). Any no go areas, favourite places to rest and favourite toys. Please make sure you have vet details to hand, and inform me of any unusal behaviours I should look out for. I like to know as much as possible so please don't feel afraid to tell me as much as you want to. I want to make the experience as smooth as possible so both you and your cat are happy.

Where do i start, we were extremely anxious to leave our cats with a stranger and have that stranger Iive in our home. But as I opened the door and met maia I was instantly at ease, maia is a very pleasant, bubbly person. She made a bee line straight for the cats and they were a little wary as some cats are but they took to her in no time, maia was very thorough with questions and feeding times, writing everything down as it was explained. Whilst we were away we got regular updates photos and some very cute videos also. We cannot say enough about maia, her love for animals could not be more obvious. If you are reading this and worried about the same things we were, meet maia and you will be at ease straight away. Lastly it was so nice to get home and have out boys so relaxed acting like they never missed us at all.
Maia looked after our little 4 month old ginger boy when we were out of the country for a wedding and she was amazing!! Communication was great even before she came, and she clearly was experienced with cats and kittens. She followed his somewhat complicated feeding routine perfectly and was very hands on with his personal hygiene support needs. She sent us pictures every day and we have evening phone calls. Overall she put us very at ease for the whole trip. I think the best testimonial comes from Imbir himself. The next time she came to visit he came running the the door for a cuddle. Wouldn’t hire anyone else.
Maia has looked after our two cats twice, and both times has done an exceptional job! Our young girls are very different: one very friendly with new people and one quite skittish. She did an amazing job of bonding with both, probably because she has such a calm and peaceful energy. So they always felt safe with her around. All our instructions about food, treats, litter etc were followed really closely. We came back to very happy and well cared for cats each time!

Schedule
I'm very flexible, I can do weekends and weekdays. I have a exercise class on Saturdays, 4pm-5pm, so can visit before or after my class
